Several large gravel areas are possible for a pull-through except when the ground is saturated with rain. The turn around area is about 80 feet by 60 feet. About only a mile of well maintained gravel road is between the property and the public maintained road. We are at 3100 feet on a steeper road with lots of switchbacks for 10 miles once out of Kamiah, Idaho. Winter conditions sometimes require good snow tire traction, but the school bus goes on the same road.
Large graveled turnaround. Six acres total land.
The HWY 12 going East is the back door going to Missoula, Montana. From Kamiah to Missoula is perhaps one of the most beautiful forested riverside drives in the entire country, with lots of hot springs along the way. The Selway Forest is accessed by crossing foot bridges along much of the highway (or by aviation, but no vehicles).
