Leave a reference for this hostWe are offering space on our mountain property next to our cabin. It isn't a lot of space but enough to be comfortable a few nights. We border forest service land in the Bitterroot National Forest. You will pass several dispersed campsites and one small forest service campground on the way to our cabin. Just up tje road two miles is another campground and dispersed camping.
Firepit is available only during burn season. Bring your own wood.
Please no smoking or drinking on property.
Paved mountain roads lead you to our community. We have about .75 miles of dirt roads to our cabin. It is only accessible during the summer. We are at the end of a cul-de-sac with room to turn around.
We are spontaneous and may or may not be a available to accommodate you. But please feel free to contact us and we will do our best!
We have access from our home to many ATV trails, fishing, hunting and hiking.
Although we didn't get to meet our hosts, our one day stay was a welcome oasis from twelve days of boondocking. We were greeted by the sweetest looking cabin with a picnic table and fire ring. The conveniently placed water and power made it easy for our 17' camper. It was welcomed as the temperature was in the 90's! We were able to make a lovely dinner and have hot showers. Thank you so much.. We would love to stay again if ever coming through the area!
MountainSage was a good host. They provided electricity and entainment in the form of a friendly dog, a bunch of chickens and a bee hive. I had a nice chat and was surprised by a gift of some fresh eggs.
Great hosts who accommodated us with just a couple hours notice. We were their first guests from Boondockers and although they (and we) are just getting organized they were super helpful. Close to town but in the country. Portion of the road in was a bit rough but doable. Overall great stay and we enjoyed their friendly dog and beautiful sunset!
