Guests can view the Fox River at our location. Easy walking just 2 minutes to the Fox River and to a kayak launch site. We are walking distance to downtown Oswego and several parks. In downtown Oswego you can find a brewery, restaurants, and several antique and boutique stores. Get your coffee at Village Grind or visit My Little Sisters Donut Shop. We are also close to all major shopping just 8 minutes away. We are also close to Aurora and Naperville if you are looking for other local museums or downtown activities.
For train enthusiasts, we have a local BNSF railway that comes through downtown as well 1-2 times a day.
We are approximately 45 miles from downtown Chicago. Don't like driving to Chicago, we are about 10 minutes from the Aurora train station which goes directly into Union Station in Chicago.

Had a safe pretty quiet night and were so happy to find we had much in common.
Our hosts were perfect In the way they greeted us and sent us off. So very friendly.
Look forward to repeating on way to our family in OH.
We had such a wonderful stay despite the rainy weather and appreciated the welcome gift very much, such a nice gesture that made us feel very welcomed from the moment we arrived! We were able to back our 35' TT in without any problems, and appreciated the use of utilities during our stay. We enjoyed being in a spot where we could easily visit Chicago for a day and the town is SO cute with many great parks along the river. We enjoyed chatting by the fire one night so the kids could roast hot dogs, and my oldest daughter looks adorable in some hand-me-downs that we got to go through before they went to the thrift shop! We were able to order delivery 2 different nights during our stay (pizza from Lou Malnati's and hot dogs from Portillo's - yum!) and get the food delivered right to our door (which is not always possible when boondocking!). We had a great time visiting and would love to visit again in the future and keep in touch with the hosts - really great people!
A and D were awesome hosts who made sure we feel in love with the area. They greeted us with a local wine as well as a list of everything in the area to see or experience! We enjoyed conversations by a fire, Crawdad hunting, and a fun trip down the Fox River. We do hope they visit our way and they will definitely be in our memories!
They’re wonderful and generous people. We had a great stay at their place.
We had a great time staying here. They’re great hosts, we’re thankful for their hospitality! It was great talking to them. They even received us with a welcome gift. We were not expecting that much! This is a great location, we liked walking to the park and the library. Only a 12 minute drive to the train station, very easy to go to all the way to Chicago union station. We hope to see these hosts again!
This stay was perfect. Easy back into a more than long enough driveway.
We were greeted upon arrival and ensured we had everything we needed, including a plug and water. The water was especially great because its so hard to find working faucets this time of year. Also told us about some of the local sights and things to do.
Our hosts were so nice. We sat around the fire for a few hours our first night talking about our travels and stuff. And they shared some local wine and beer.
They even allowed us to extend our stay a couple days while we worked out our next stops and move to chicago.
We would definitely reccomend them to anyone coming through the area or visiting chicago.
