SPAGHETTI'S ROOST is on the north side of Cheyenne, just 2 miles east of I-25, Exit 13, just 1/2 mile north of 4 Mile Road - WY 212, at an elevation of 6200 feet above sea level, about the same as an airliner's cabin in flight, however, on hot summer days, the effective altitude can approach 10,000 feet. This should be taken into consideration by everyone, particularly those with respiratory problems! Cheyenne has an excellent full-service hospital if needed.
There are approximately 2 acres of level ground in the front portion of the lot for parking, with plenty of room to maneuver even the largest rig into position to access the RV electrical box (2 @15-20 Amp & 1 @ 30 Amp services - all on the same circuit) on the front corner of the garage (under the DISH satellite antenna) with no backing required depending upon the length of your access cable. PLEASE TAKE CARE TO NOT BLOCK THE DRIVEWAY!
We have great tasting free well water for filling your freshwater supplies if desired. No water hookups permitted!
We have a fire ring (Permission required!), firewood and chairs behind the house which adults are free to use, but children must be supervised! ALL FIRES MUST BE COMPLETELY EXTINGUISHED WITH AVAILABLE HOSE OUTLET!
We have a high-speed broadband WiFi available at no charge (Cheyenne Home RV Guest / Boondockers), which you are welcome to access as your equipment will permit (You are welcome to sit on the porch if necessary) and we get decent cell service due to our elevation - 6200' MSL.
We are located right under the instrument approach course to the Cheyenne Airport, so our WYANG C-130's can come over at fairly low altitude with moderate engine noise - the sound of freedom!
The simple unbreakable house rule is "THE GOLDEN RULE"! We are not a licensed campground, so be thoughtful of the neighbors and ourselves. COMMON COURTESY!
We have both 15-20 Amp and 30 Amp electrical services available at no charge unless your stay is an extensive one, then a reasonable contribution will be requested not to exceed $5 per night, though cable extensions may be needed to reach the outlet.
Quiet generators are acceptable with normal quiet hours observed (10 PM to 06 AM).
Dogs may be off-leash provided they can be controlled to remain on the property.
A Boondocker's Day begins and ends at Noon in the event of any conflict, but we are very flexible!
County maintained good gravel road last half mile, with a shallow S curve to a moderately steep hill at the end, just before the "T" intersection with Champion Drive. Not a problem unless snow & ice-covered!
The actual entrance to the property has deep ditches on both sides! Swing wide to approach the entrance as straight as possible. DO NOT CUT THE CORNER! There is plenty of room to maneuver once inside the entrance. No need to back out for departure. No tall or overhanging trees. Prairie, not putting green style lawn.
The property address number is on the mailbox and over the garage.
No restrictions, 5-acre residential lot on top of a broad ridge with a large 2-acre flat area near the house.
DUE TO THE OUR SPACIOUS RV GUEST AREA, WE ARE ACCEPTING HOSTING REQUESTS DURING THE CORONAVIRUS PERIOD PROVIDING THAT YOU ARE CAPABLE OF HANDLING EVERYTHING ON LOCATION THROUGH THE PHONE. THANK YOU FOR YOUR UNDERSTANDING AS WE BOTH ARE IN THE VULNERABLE ZONE! SPAGHETTI'S ROOST

We will gladly accept advance reservations beyond 2 months provided you are comfortable with our not being here during your stay as we also RV. We have a very close neighbor who can answer any questions or concerns during your stay.
Subject availability, I will provide each guest with a copy of the local CHEYENNE tourist magazine detailing all of the local attractions, including the many new brewpubs! We are only 3 easy miles from the main Cheyenne mall and shopping area, including Sam's Club, Super Walmart, Target, many other well-known brands, and numerous national chain restaurants. Traditionally, SAM'S CLUB GAS (in front of Walmart on East Del Range Blvd) has the lowest prices for gasoline and diesel fuel with a Sam's Club Membership Card.
Beyond that, they are welcome to all of the local knowledge that we can provide!
The first thing you notice upon your arrival is that the house is sitting right on top of a very large Hill. Impressive View. We were greeted by the host and promptly made to feel at home as we filled up our water tanks and then moved our camper over to the appropriate spot, hooking up to the available 30 amp circuit. The host had company over for dinner so we were not able to visit very much. But, really enjoyed our stay there and would certainly do it again. Would highly recommend this site for people traveling in this area. Thanks again for taking good care of us! Sincerely appreciated.
Our Harvest Host location for the night in Colorado ended up being too tight for our big rig, so last minute I sent a message asking if we could show up late....and a day early. We were prepared to park at a truck stop if we needed to but shortly after sending a message, we got a YES! Thank you again for letting us show up early. Beautiful location. Wow. The views go on for miles and very quiet. Short ride to town.
We are so thankful that we were able to stay at this beautiful location. Our host was very helpful with any questions (by email as social distancing was in play) and welcomed us to his home. The land was beautiful! Our doodle had a blast playing ball on the open land.
Thank you so much for accepting our request during this time of COVID. We appreciate you!
This was our first Boondockers Welcome stay. GTS1544 were very pleasant and hospitable. Great conversation was had. We feel blessed that they shared their property with us! Plenty of flat space with ability to fill water and use 30 amp power. Wonderful Hosts! We would definitely stay anytime they’d have us! A great experience.
Our hosts were so gracious allowing us to fill our tank with some delicious tasting water. They met us and gave options to park in the wide open prairie . Our fur babies enjoyed running and being off leash. If not for pandemic situation we would have enjoyed spending more quality time getting to know them better.
What a beautiful place to retire to! We had only one night at Spaghetti's Roost but would have enjoyed a longer visit and would have loved to socialize with our hosts. Unfortunately, due to the coronavirus situation, we had to settle for a short visit, communicating at a distance (6 ft). Still, they were gracious and accommodating. Ideal hosts. We would definitely return.
My wife and I had a great stay here as the guests of GTS1544 and his wife. We had beautiful 360 degree views of the surrounding prairie and mountains. Hosts were very accommodating in helping us select a good spot to set up (with the bonus of 110 power) and because of the Covid 19 they gave us good tips on the local area via email daily. It was a great spot for our dog to run and get some exercise. It is a great place to boondock on the edge of town with lots to do and see. We would love to stay here again when we are in the area.
Very gracious host with detailed instructions and beautiful view from the property.
We stayed two nights on our host’s land.....and had a relaxing time for the both of us and our dog, Roscoe. Communication with our hosts was extremely good, especially during this time of “socially distancing” because of Covid. We came up to play pickleball with friends and will be back!
We parked up on the ridge with 300 degree views of the area. We saw ground squirrels, rabbits and a multitude of birds.
The hosts really tried to give us any and all help they could with information on the local area. We were disappointed we couldn't have interacted more due to the weather and the covid-19 restrictions.
We thank them very much for their hospitality it was much appreciated.
Our hosts we’re very kind and communicated well through messages due to the coronavirus. They did come to the porch to wish us well on our travels. The property was very easy to find and had plenty of space to accommodate us. We highly recommend this host!
We are Canadian and try to return in our Country faster than usually. In the special situation cause by Coronavirus, they accepted and offered us all commodity possible. We respected the social distancing for them and for us. Thank you so much. Their site is large and the view is awesome. Dump is just less than 5 minutes from there. It was very quiet and our dog were able to run and to play often.
Perfect spot just outside of Cheyenne. you'd never know you are only 10 minutes to as much shopping and amenities as you could ask for. Hosts are very friendly and accommodating. Directions are spot on and road and driveway are super easy to navigate. Expect a constant "breeze" and great cellular signal on top of the hill. Highly recommended!
