The Maine-iacs is a very nice retreat and far from behing maniacs!😁 Gail is about as down to earth as one gets. Quiet setting in a rural neighborhood, she has a great place. Although we didn’t get to stay long, she welcomed us in with open arms, shared a glass of wine, and got to know one another a bit. Hopefully our trails are going to cross again in southern Florida. She’s a great person, and we really enjoyed our conversations and her big heart hospitality!
We felt welcomed by our Host from the beginning. Helped us get backed in to the perfect spot in the driveway so we would be nice & level. Got to share an afternoon drive to Mount Agamenticus with her & Skippy. Later she graciously invited us to share a lobster/corn-on-the-cob meal with her on our last evening together. We thoroughly enjoyed getting to know each other, share life stories and travel stories. We sure hope to come back someday. Hope we meet in our travels or even in Key West- you never never know!
We were sorry we did not have more time to spend with Maineiacs. We understand she is a fiber artist of great renown and we would have liked to have seen some of her work. Hopefully we will visit again in the future.
We had such a great welcome from Maineiacs for our first trip to Maine. We were given suggestions on where we could park our rig so we could visit the ocean beaches even before we left home, which helped solidify our travel plans. She was there each time we returned from sightseeing to help us get backed in, which was super easy with her nice straight driveway, When it rained all day, she gave us ideas for local indoor attractions. And she graciously invited us to share a lobster meal with her on our last evening together, and gifted us with hand painted souvenirs that will always reminded us of her wonderful hospitality. We thoroughly enjoyed getting to know our host and hope to see her and Skippy again someday.
Thank you to our Kind host who met us and helped us back in and get plugged in. We had a nice chat after getting set up and the next morning we were offered to harvest some tomatoes and basil from their garden which we gladly accepted. As fellow artists we really appreciated viewing some of Maineiacs artwork and on our way out were offered memory stones to commemorate our stay. Wow, so beautiful, Super nice host -thank you again, what a wonderful beginning to our travels in Maine! Hope to come back again some time.
We had a wonderful visit with our host at this location. She was kind enough to provide electricity to help us get through the heat for our air conditioning unit. Perfectly level driveway setting in a quiet neighborhood. We hope to connect again.
Very nice hosts ! We felt very comfortable throughout our stay ! Thanks so much !
Host was friendly & gave great directions! Provided contact info., for questions we may have had. Arrived late, left early. Lovely neighborhood, perennials pretty and able to back into drive way & level up!
