Parking is a standard driveway with a small incline and really nothing more than just an overnight stop in a safe, quiet, residential neighborhood. We are located about 1/2 mile from a commercial area with Wal-Mart, Target, a Mall, Gas / Convenience Stores, Grocery stores, etc. and are about 1 mile from several major highways. Wal-Mart allows overnight parking, but if you don't feel that is safe, we are another option close by for overnight parking and can also provide access to a fenced-in backyard for your dogs, if needed. Suggested Local Attractions:There are a ton of State Parks and natural recreational opportunities in our area making it a perfect stop for hiking, biking and kayaking. Appleton has a Performing Arts Center, the Hearthstone Museum (first home with hydro-electric power), the Houdini Museum, and we are only 30 minutes from the Green Bay Packers Hall of Fame and Lambeau Field.

We live in a very quiet neighborhood where 95% of all residents are retired, so we ask that there be limited to no noise; especially from 9 pm to 7 am. Please clean up after your pets. No smoking and no generators. General respect for our home and neighbors along with common courtesy are expected and appreciated.

Access Road Conditions: This is a tyical suburban residential neighborhood; very quiet as almost all residents are retired. Roads are paved, ashphalt and the driveway is concrete. We can accommodate one, small Class B or Class C camper or a teardrop style travel trailer and tow vehicle. Tow Vehicle Parking Details: In addition to our driveway, there is available street parking for both a rig and/or tow vehicle (May - Oct only. In winter, no street parking is available due to snow plowing needs.) We try to be flexible and will accommodate what we can.

Mary and Heather went beyond the call as being gracious and giving hosts. I enjoyed every minute talking with them, which turned into hours combining both evening and morning gatherings. They had me laughing throughout most of our conversations. Accommodations were as expected. A driveway and a quiet neighborhood except for the old guys competing with their lawn mowing chores ๐. I would, beyond a doubt, stsy with Mary and Heather again and would recommend them to anyone. I sincerely hope I get the opportunity to meet them on the road somewhere.

This location is way more than just a parking spot for the night. The hosts were so friendly and helpful. We hope they find the perfect traveling option so we can see them on road (or in NH ๐)!
