We don’t really care for people smoking but I would make exceptions. We only want calm gentle pets.

Friendly couple who like to travel and be near rivers and lakes. Details: My wife and I have a small A-Frame cabin on the Mississippi River. We spend the late spring, summer and early fall at the cabin with small trips interspersed at various times. During the rest of the year we travel to different places in our truck camper (I don’t care for cold weather). We vary seldom stay at campgrounds. We like boondocking and sometimes Core of Engineers campgrounds the best. Why would we want to be parked 10 feet from large campers on both sides when our cabin has no one within 100 yards? We enjoy being able to enjoy the peace and quiet of nature. Home Town: When not on the road, we stay at our cabin on the Mississippi River. We are only about 10 feet from the river. Sometimes we are “in the river” when it floods, but my cabin is 12’ above the ground so we just either wade in or kayak in depending on how high the water is in the yard. The deepest the water has ever gotten is about 10’ high. But the Mississippi River never flash floods and we always have at least a week or two warning of any upcoming flood. Favorite Boondocking Locations: We do Boondock a lot but very seldom in the same place twice. I get bored easily🙃. We prefer places near water when just doing leasurely traveling but don’t mind a Walmart parking lot if traveling and just stopping for a short night and need some provisions. Skills or Expertise to Share: I don’t have any great skills. Sort of jack of all trades but master of none. I enjoy tinkering in my garage, fishing, boating, biking, walking and talking to people.
