We are located in a quiet neighborhood and all the houses are on either 5, 8 or 10 acres. It feels like you are in the country but we are only 15 minutes from several shopping areas with restaurants. In 30 minutes you can be downtown Richmond, VA with lots of history and more restaurants.
No loud noises ie music or fireworks after 9 pm
Its a long packed level gravel driveway starts to slope upwards as it gets closer to our house. Next to our garage is a small field to park in. It is level in one spot that you back into.
We have a long gravel driveway that leads into a small field. You would be pulling into the field turning left until RV is perpendicular to driveway and then back straight back up a slight incline until trailer is level. There is plenty of room to allow your tow vehicle to stay attached.
We do not keep our calendar up to date so please feel free to check with us.
Kings Dominion amusement park. civil war history, 1 hour from Williamsburg, Jamestown and Busch Gardens. Huge number of craft breweries. Capital bike trail from Richmond to Williamsburg passing plantations for tours. James River for kayaking, and fishing. Richmond Museum of fine arts.
Great Host. A beautiful country setting.Very friendly host. We enjoyed our stay. Recommend highly.
This was a lovely quiet spot in the country that was a perfect spot for us as we were planning to visit both Monticello and Colonial Williamsburg. Our generous hosts gave us a warm welcome and made sure that we had everything we needed!
Great secluded, quiet spot, easy access, and friendly, helpful hosts. Look forward to seeing them again in less oppressive weather :)
Such a pleasant nights sleep. Great host with nice conversation. Safe travels!
We arr new members and this was our first use of the app. CountryCorner was the most amazing host. They had power and water waiting for us if we needed them and gave us access to their WIFI for crucial Zoom meeting. Their property is easy to find, conveniently located, lovely, private and very accommodating. Needless to say, we were very happy campers. Thank you for a warm welcome and a terrific stay. We hope to visit you again some day.
This was my first Boondocker stay ever! My hosts were so gracious. I was their first post pandemic guest. As a new RVer they gave me some great tips. Location is convenient to Fredericksburg and Williamsburg, in my opinion. Area is conducive for cycling!
Second time that I stayed at this location, which has been central to my traveling the east coast. Warm and welcoming hosts on a beautiful wooded piece of property, nice even camp site.
Very accommodant Boondockers and perfect spot.
We really recommand it.
G’s family! 😃
Great host near Appomattox. After giving him a tour of my Earthcruiser, he showed me his 62 'Vette and then gave me a ride in his '18 Tesla. What a car. Then he invited me into his house to watch some NFL. Unfortunately no game was on. Next time.
Highly recommend this host
Thank you for welcoming us to your home. Your property is beautiful and your offer of water and electricity was greatly appreciated!
We look forward to visiting again and wish you well on your upcoming travels.
My hosts met me and got me hooked to water, elec and WiFi.
Met their awesome rescue dog.
Beautiful spot, easy pull in and pull out.
Would definitely stop by again.
Very nice people
We loved staying with our hosts at CountryCorner! Their property is quiet and secluded. Very beautiful! We had plenty of space for our rig and they were so generous as to let us use some of their water and electricity. We would definitely stay here again!
The hosts were great and the property was very quiet and comfortable. I even saw a couple deer playing in the field
We cannot believe CountryCorner hadn’t hosted before! We were their first guests but they seemed like they had lots of experience! They had everything set out for us and made us feel very welcomed.
The parking spot was level and their property is beautifully wooded and very quiet! Very nice people to visit with - we would be happy to host them anytime they venture to NC!
