Our house is in rural southeast GA. It’s about 30 minutes to I-95 and the same time to I-16. Groceries and fuel are just minutes away in the small town of Guyton. Friendly dogs and other pets welcome but please pick up after your animals. Any questions or special requests, just ask. When your stay is confirmed, PLEASE read the detailed directions that you are given. Some GPS units will not get you directly to our house. It’s not hard to find but people are getting “lost” by following only their GPS. READ THE DIRECTIONS!!!
No Smoking on our property. Pick up after yourself and make sure to close any gate that you open.
We are located 1/4 mile off a state highway on a slightly bumpy dirt road. Easy access for most vehicles but one tree overhangs our little dirt road. The branches on that tree hang down to about 10 1/2 feet, just to the left of the centerline of the road. I come and go with my truck camper that is 11’ 5” tall at the air conditioner, but I am probably rubbing a few small branches while doing so. Because of this tree, and a tight turn or two on our driveway, we need to limit guests to those with trailers 20' or less in length and Class B or C RVs. Class A coaches, large travel trailers, or fifth wheel trailers are not an option here.
Our place is flat and easily accessible.
Guyton doesn’t have much to offer but Savannah, Hilton Head, and quite a few cool places are within an hour of here. Most major box stores are in Pooler or Rincon. Pooler is 30 minutes away and Rincon is 25 minutes from our place.
The host was kind enough to extend my stay a day, which allowed me to take care of some things in town.
This host went above and beyond to make my stay pleasant, including sharing grilled chicken and vegetables! I was able to use 110v for my RV which uses 30 amps. If you have 50 amp you would be on your own. He offered a hose to fill my water tank, which I use to wash my dog and my hair! I had a delightful, quiey stay. His dog is very friendly which made it great for my dog, who is somewhat shy. I highly recommend this host and his beautiful property.
This was my second stay. Love the open expanse rural feel of this location. Quiet and dark to think so look for an Boondocking sites.
Nice sunset in the western sky.
My host was very attentive if there was anything I needed. Made sure I was careful in case the ground was too soft.
We stayed with our travel trailer, tow vehicle, and chase vehicle. Had 2 adults, 2 kids, and 2 dogs. We had a very pleasant stay at bonnie brook farms. They chatted our kids up and made them feel right at home. The kids loved having a huge field to run around and play in as well.
Great stay and highly recommend them for a nice stay in the Savannah GA area.
WE really enjoyed the stay even though it was short. Pumpkin our dog loved meeting all the new friends, both people and canine.
I personally love to get out in the country.
The area is low country, flat sandy soil.
Plenty of space, dark sky, quiet night.
My only regret is I arrived later than I wanted and didn’t have enough time to chat with my host.
The host met me at the gate and guided me in and hooked me up. I was so tired so didn't socialize but beautiful spot for a rest.
Rog was very hospitable and although it was a short stay we would highly recommend it and hope to visit again.
We enjoyed a few nights in this peaceful properties.
About 45 minutes out of Savannah, the ride to the old historic town was also quite lovely in the fall with all the different colors.
Roger was very communicative and made the process of arriving and staying very easy.
He built a nice fire every night so we could all join and share some time together with the other boondockers.
Our dogs were allowed to roam free on the property which they loved.
Would recommend anytime.
Thank you for the hospitality!
Really enjoyed my stay here with roger.
We spent the evening sitting around a campfire with his two other guests.
This is what it’s all about.
If you stay here you will be very comfortable and safe.
Roger and Bonnie please come visit Wisconsin
We were on our way to Jekyll Island from Charleston and Bonnie Brook Farm was the perfect stop over. Our host greeted us and let us into his gated farm, directing us to the back of his property. Though we didn't take advantage of the offering of electric, water and grey water dump, they are available.
After dinner we enjoyed an nice fire on the patio, great conversation over adult beverages. The farm is located about a quarter mile off the highway making for a quiet restful sleep.
Highly recommended. We look forward to our next visit.
