Shady site with view overlooking 12 acre lake with no public access. Private dock to swim, fish, or help yourself to the kayak or the funky sup/yak hybrid. Our rd is 1/4 mi long. Quiet and safe for kids to ride bikes. For safety sake, please supervise children near the water and keep them off the rockery areas. They are steep and slippery with loose gravel Generator ok from 8am- 8pm. Yard is fenced but not securly. Off leash ok while supervised. We have a dog but she doesnt go out by herself. We will work with you on that. Sorry, you will have to take your trash with you, however bagged pet waste is ok to put in the green trash barrel. We're ok with responsible consumption of adult beveages. No ILLEGAL drugs. No butts on the ground please. Will be glad to answer qustions about closest services trash, sewer dump, propane, groceries, etc. Its preferrable to get here and set up before dark

We are off the beaten I5 path, but this is a great base location to explore the area. Mt Rainier is an easy day trip. So is Point Defiance and the Tacoma waterfront. Seattle City Center not so easy anymore due to the hideous traffic,(grrrr) but still doable/ OR you are welcome to just hang out. Relax. Get some rest. Get some work done. Take a walk. Stream a movie.

Solid wifi high speed connection. Cell service is sketchy. Verizon is useless. Friends have some luck with ATT. Not knowing about the others .We still have a land line LOL Wifi calling works if your device is capable.

Magical spot!! Truly!

The hosts were so gracious. We were so honored to be their first guests. What an amazing spot wished we could have stayed longer, to be able to wake up next to a lake with a dock just WOW! If the weather and time had allowed it taking a kayak out or having breakfast outside or simply hanging out reading would have been incredible.
The hosts suggested visiting Mt Raineir NP and we changed our plans based on that so the next day went there ended up being in WA a day longer but it was so worth it. Honestly there are so many waterfalls to see alone. Breathtaking views for sure.
Hope they keep hosting more boondockers and that you all enjoy the guest book as much as we did! Thanks
