This house/Boondockers location is located 18 miles south of Columbus Ohio in a little farm town. Columbus is a great place for foodies and microbreweries, Clippers baseball, Ohio State university, Blue Jacket hockey, Nation Wide arena, Ohio State fairgrounds. There is a small lake south of me that has a nice 4 mile hiking path - Hargus Lake. Thirty miles east is the Hocking Hills, more nice hiking. Twenty miles west is Deer Creek state park which has a beach and lake. The area is good for road biking. Just a block north of the host site is an elementary school and a park with a walking track.

Location

Access Road Conditions: The RV boon docking area is off of a main road in a small farm town two miles off of a state route. My only concern is the transition from the main road into my driveway, some trailers drag. I personally had a 40 foot fifth wheel that I pulled in and out. Reasonable backing skills would be necessary, either backing in from the street or backing out. There is no room to turn big rigs around on the property. Smaller rigs will have no problem turning around or maneuvering. There are many roads that lead you to Ashville Ohio. The two main roads coming off of State Route 23 into Ashville are St. Route 752 and St. Route 316... both of these routes have height restrictions due to a train overpass. 13’6” for Rt 316 and 13’9” for Rt 752. Tow Vehicle Parking Details: There is a gravel lot behind my garage that has room to park both an RV and a tow vehicle together.

This was a great location with easy access on my trip passing thru Ohio, Excellent communication with clear directions and instructions. Super thankful we were able to access power for providing my 80+ yo mom the ability to keep extra warm with her plug in heated blanket.

Small Town Central Ohio HH location was just a few minutes from our path of travel. The location was easy to locate, navigate and very quiet. We felt safe and secure, getting an awesome night of rest. Thank you Don for the great communication and the wonderful driveway boondocking spot!

Nice peaceful spot! Level and easily accessible with our class B. Interesting walkable neighborhood. ? World’s oldest traffic light. Good host communication.

Located in a small town, the parking spot is at the back of the property. It faces into some woods. Combine this with very little traffic noise and you have a pleasant place to unwind. The access drive and turning around was a challenge for my extra wide (8.5’) trailer. Otherwise it’s doable and worth the effort. Host responded very quickly. Great place to stay.
