This is a 10 acre hobby farm out in the county. We are just minutes away from Table Rock Lake. Silver Dollar City, Several Cave tours and Branson Missouri where there are numerous attractions, Rides and Shows. There are several dinner cruises you can go on along with a scenic train ride. Dinner Theaters like Dolly Pardon Stampede is one of them.
You can also just sit back and enjoy a leisurely, restful time enjoying your time in the country.
There are Cows and Chickens to see and interact with here on the property.
We try to make your stay as comfortable and easy as possible.
We have space for you even if your in the largest of rigs but still enjoy Hosting the smaller and more agile RVs.
We love having families come stay with us, But this is a Farm and there are inherent obstacles that could cause young peoples curiosity to peek. We would hate for someone to get injured unnecessarily so we ask that if you're traveling with minors that you supervise them when on the property.
Just be respectful and courteous. We are out in the country so having fun is not very restrictive. Enjoying yourself at the expense of others that may be here including us will not be tolerated. We DO NOT have sewer at this time PLEASE DO NOT DUMP EVEN YOUR GRAY TANKS IN THE SITES.
We have a couple of fire pits located near the sites. We will usually start a fire if our guests show an interest and conditions are favorable. Please check with the Host before starting a fire do to conditions and local fire bans that change often.
We have 15Amp, 30Amp and 50Amp Hookups available if needed. We do not charge for our hookups and do not require our guests to use them. We have the availability to locate you at an established site or in an area with out hookups if you are looking to experience a true Boondocking experience.
It has been brought to our attention that some feel uncomfortable using electric and water with out a charge. If this makes you feel uneasy we certainly do apologize. Donations are not required but there are those that insist and those donations go straight into improving and adding to the location for others to enjoy.
Length of stay can and may be negotiated with the Host after you have arrived.
Access is off of a State Hwy it is a two lane paved road. You will pull through a wide gate onto the property it is a gravel drive that continues down the side of the shop to a loop that will bring you back to your 78' pull-thru site. There is a vast open grass area to let your dogs run and get some exercise. The turn onto the property is a sharp turn that is quite doable by swinging wide and using the available roadway. We have had numerous large RVs with Toads and trailers including 45' Show Hauler with toad. I pull into it with my rig without issue and I am 67' 9" long.
No issues with room. We are in the country with lots of room. You will have plenty of room to park near your rig or if you prefer you can park somewhere else on the property. We have a number of established sites with water and electric, We also have other spots if you are not in need of any services.
We do travel our selves. So from time to time we may have our own trips planned. Feel free to give us a shout to see if we can accommodate your time schedule. We can be very flexible.

Big Cedar lodge. (More attractions for Adults and Kidds alike)
We really enjoyed our time at Flat Acre Farms. We enjoyed our time so much we extended our stay another night. The sites are flat and all pull-through with 50 amp and water. The water pressure was adequate. These folks take great pride and care of their property. We would stay here again when passing through town. The only thing we would change is to stay at a site on the end away from the barn with chickens end roosters. We were the first site closest to the barn. They wake up with their sounds that chickens and roosters make about 4 am! Staying at the other end of the property would solve this issue. Otherwise the place was great and like I said we’d absolutely return again.
Such a great location and hosts.
We were happy to be able to stay at this beautiful farm again.
Norm went out of his way to rescue us from the waze misdirection. Do not use Waze! We were led by golf cart to our parking spot. Well manicured place, always neat as a pen. Water and electric very convenient. Always offering to be helpful to all his guests. Other than the Branson attraction about 35 minutes away we would recommend visiting the School of the Ozarks and their Keeter Center Lodge, and Tractor museum and visit Eureka Springs, especially the Thorncrown Chapel.
Thank you Flat Acre Farms!
The Hosts are wonderful! Nice drive to the site and very quiet. I would recommend this site to everyone that wants to see Branson, Mo, but don't want the packed lake campgrounds.
This place is everything they say and so much more. They have spots for 7 to 8 rigs, level, spacious and modern. What they don't say is the best part. These are the nicest, kindest, most giving folks I've ever met. For the 4th of July they hosted a potluck BBQ that was incredible. Totally made me feel like family. Love the walking paths, the cows and the chickens. Without a doubt a place to stay that you'll want to come back to again and again!
We had such a great experience at Flat Acre Farms during our two night stay. Great hosts, friendly camping neighbors, cows & chickens and plenty of room to walk the dogs out in the country.
Great gravel sites with water and electric and easy access from a paved country road made this an ideal Boondockers welcome stay.
Flat Acre Farms does a wonderful job of hosting their guests. Thank you for making us feel so welcome.
When we arrived and were greeted by the hosts at the gate, we said to ourselves, "Wow! This is a great place!" And it just got better during our short stay. As you can see in the picture, this is like a small RV park, right in the middle of a beautiful farm. There were great electric and water hookups and a great level space for an RV of any size. Our dogs loved walking around the land, and so did we. The hosts just want to help RVers, and they surely did. We had a great visit with good conversation, and feel like they are friends. You don't get that from commercial RV park owners. The drive up through the Ozarks is gorgeous and we would love to visit again.
Words cannot describe these genuinely compassionate, resourceful and hilarious hosts. They provide wholesome hospitality, safe extremely clean graveled spaces with hookups! If ever I went back to a sticks and bricks.. I would want these two as my neighbors! I will drive hours out of my way to stay with them again!
Great communication with Flat Acre Farm Host before we arrived. Upon arriving we were met and escorted us to our site. Once parked we received ½ dozen eggs from "The Ladies". What a great gift. We stayed three nights (Fri, Sat, Sun). On Saturday Flat Acre Farm hosted a meal for all campers. The main course was furnished and everyone brought sides. It was a great time and a way to interact and meet others. Upon leaving, Flat Acre Farm Host was there to wish us safe travels and make sure all was good with our rig as we pulled out.
We would say Flat Acre Farm is clean, safe, welcoming, with great camaraderie - an all around great stay! We look forward to returning!!
We had another outstanding stay at Flat Acre Farm . So glad we were able to spend time again . They treat us like
family . I'm sure we will see them again soon. If you get a chance to stay with them you will not believe their hospitality .
This is an amazing place to stay and the host and hostess are fantastic
I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here. The location was close to many things to see and the farm has all the amenities you need plus very friendly and helpful hosts. I look forward to staying here again in the future.
Such a nice, clean, beautiful spot, wish we could have stayed longer. This host is super accommodating, friendly, and kind. We had been stuck in cities leading up to this stay and we so appreciated having a beautiful large green area that we could walk around on barefoot and play fetch with our pup on for the evening we stayed. On our way back we’ll definitely be stopping here again.
Hey hey, what can we say....We really enjoyed our recent stay and for the Second Time!!! We love re-meeting these two folks...always giving, giving, giving! We once again enjoyed the farm-fresh eggs and beings it wasn't raining, the bon fire after our evening meal. It was kind of like "old home" week!!! We are sure we will be back to this neat site as our son has a vacation home, over-sized garage with living quarters above, near Eureka Springs.. Be well my friends.. Thanks again!!!! Hope to see you two at the Quiet Farm.....
This is a great place to stay! They have built them selfs quite a nice little rv park. Each spot has power and water with decorative lights and a picnic table. Host are very nice and super helpful. Meet us out front and escorted us in to our spot. There's cows out in the field that our kids enjoyed seeing and nice big grass areas we played Frisbee, soccer and baseball in. We will definitely come back again if we're in thr area. Thanks!
This place is a gem!
Our hosts met us at the road and guided us to our spot. Great conversation and a peaceful rest stop.
After traveling in a storm for five hours during the night, up and down hills, with rain pounding on our windshield we were ready for a good night sleep. Accommodations are perfect. Norm met us at the driveway to show us where we would be staying. Awesome awesome host.
Norm and Rhonda have a great place! We went a little out of our way just to go by a see them and stay with them. At Flat Acre Farm you are family! Another camper and family hosted everyone to shrimp/crawfish boil with all the trimmings-and a good time was had by all! We will be back! Always a great time at Flat Acre Farm. Norm keep up the great work! Keep in touch.
Norm and Rhonda are special people. They go way out of their way to make everybody feel welcome. This was our first experience with Boondockers Welcome and I feel the bar that Flat Acres farm(s) set for everybody else is extremely high. We can’t wait to come back. But please everybody keep this one to yourselves so that we can stay again.
This is our second time to stay at Flat Acre Farms and although it was a short one, just an overnight, it was peaceful and quiet and we loved it. The hosts again delivered to us a half dozen eggs from their chickens. And we loved hearing the roosters in the morning. We encourage you to check out Flat Acre Farms if you’re anywhere near the area. It’s a handy place to stay to visit any of the Branson area attractions, and nice to return to some peace and quiet after that! Yes, it’s a windy road to get there, but it’s very doable for any size rig: just take your time and enjoy the scenery. We are definitely going back.
We have to agree with all the reviews. Awesome couple and great place to visit. Will come back again. Also, at the top of our list for recommendations- all our friends will know about Flat Acre Farms. Thanks you so much.
“If you build it they will come”!!
That’s exactly what this wonderful host and his wife have done! Built a private free RV park with 7 spots (so far), electric and water, just for us Boondockers! It’s a terrific destination with so much to see in the area. If I had not been on a tight schedule would have unloaded my bike and enjoyed the hills! Nevertheless me and Frankie Anne (the dog) enjoyed the peaceful surroundings, cows and roosters waking us up! The host even gave us eggs from the chickens! Another fabulous Boondockers experience!! Thank you very much!!! Blessings!!
First time using BW and the hosts we had were the most amazing people. We had an accident with our tow vehicle about 15 minutes away from the hosts site, so we were not only running late but had totaled our brand new jeep. I let the hosts know what had happened and where we were and they showed up about 20 minutes later to help in any way possible. They waited with us for over 2 hours while we were dealing with police, towing, and the stress of losing a vehicle. To help out they hooked the tow dolly onto their vehicle as we followed them to their place.
The site they have set up is amazing pull through parking with water and 15/30/50 amp electric. In the morning they greeted us with a dozen farm fresh eggs.
Because of everything that had happened we needed an extra day to deal with insurance and organizing the motorhome. They were more then happy to let us stay an extra night.
We are so grateful to them and their kindness. Without their kindness I'm not sure we would have even gotten any sleep.
Thank you N and R so much for being such awesome people.
Great personality, very accommodating to guests, enjoyed the eggs! Close to Branson and lots of activities. Super scenery!
The place was stunning. Easy in and out, plenty of room for the kids to ride bikes, imitate the chickens, pet the cows and just overall room to roam around. We had a great time getting to know the hosts and some other guests around a campfire 1 night as well ad each day here and there. They truly have put so much time and thought into every detail and are only continuing to make it better. We have no doubt we will be back. We cant thank them enough for their hospitality and treating our kids like their own. Also, my daughter says her new best friend is autumn the cow!
Yes, you can believe all the other super positive reviews. Our hosts gave excellent directions to their farm, and greeted me with a half dozen eggs from their chickens. The sites are level, full hookups....what more could you ask for, except that, yes, the setting is quiet and peaceful. We almost didn't want to leave such a positive review because, honestly, we'd like to keep this as our little secret. We're going back next week!
This was our first time using Boondockers. It was absolutely amazing !!!
We've been camping for 39 years and the hospitality we received at Flat Acres Farm and witnessed the hosts giving to every gest that was there was some of the best we've ever experienced.
They made sure everything was good all the time. We definitely gained two awesome new friends. We can't wait to see them again. Thank you for everything.
There’s not enough time or room for me to express my full impression of, and appreciation for, Flat Acre Farms and it’s operator! What a remarkable mission drives the man responsible for this hidden treasure! Open, friendly, well-experienced, talented, and driven by his desire to help people, he is so much fun to talk with and to learn from. We will definitely return for an extended stay in the future and pray for their continued efforts to serve others. Don’t miss this one!
Quiet spot on a very well kept family farm setting. Hosts are extremely welcoming and have put a lot of effort into making guess feel welcome. They have essentially established a rv campground for their guests and make sure to welcome and guide you in. Our kids loved feeding the chickens and calves, and had plenty of room to run in the lot. It's just minutes from everything the area has to offer.
Flat Acre Farms was a great experience! Such care and hospitality! We are definitely spoiled! Thank you for everything! You went above and beyond to make our stay extraordinary!
We stayed here so we could visit some of the nearby Branson attractions. Silver dollar city was a 30 minute drive. He has a great setup. You would think you’re at an actual campground. Very friendly people.
Beautiful setting, wonderful hosts. You can definitely see this place is a result of inspired action. It also turned out to truly be a “safe port in a storm” for us😎
Norm and Rhonda are so kind and generous! They really do not want payment for staying there, with free water and electric! We were able to get him to take a small "donation" to help him keep improving the campground. It is amazing, he has each site with a gravel pull through and picnic tables. And an area at each end for a campfire and he even supplies the wood😊. They are just so welcoming, you have to go and hear his story! He feels like he is doing God's work by helping people, especially those who are really in need, I think he just really likes people and has found his purpose by helping them however he can! If u get a chance to stop here, absolutely do!! God bless u both Norm and Rhonda, and keep on showing people how much God loves them through your work.😃🤗❤🙏
I never heard of Blue Eye, Missouri until I discovered it on Boondocker's Welcome! It has been an amazing experience, with great southern hospitality and a beautiful connection with the hosts. From the first few exchanges through emails and when I arrived, I knew this was going to be a memorable stay. Ntaft0904 greeted me with a smile, helped me pull into my site and was gifted with a half dozen eggs. By the way, the eggs were delicious and fresh as they get!! With this being my second Boondocker's welcome, the bar has been set high! God put me on this path for a reason and grateful to have met such wonderful people!
I had a few maintenance issues and the host stepped up and fixed them, which was a great help. The site is level with complimentary electricity and water. My puppy, Daisy was welcomed and treated like one of their boondocks guests as soon as we arrived. This makes a difference to me. People who love and respect dogs and animals, are great in my book. There was plenty of space for Daisy to run around and play. We got to visit with their young cows, Fawn and Autumn! They are beautiful, sweet girls! Daisy, my 11 month old puppy, met the girls and the chickens in the coop, so it has been a well rounded experience for all of us! I enjoyed sitting around the fire, laughing and sharing stories with the hosts and the guests.
Another great reason to come to Blue Eye, it is only 10 minutes from Dogwood Canyon and 30 minutes from Branson and Table Rock State Park. I pray for blessings ten-fold for my gracious hosts! They truly are kind, respectful and funny. I plan to come back to visit soon!!
We really enjoyed our stay. Norm was very accommodating. Very professional layout. Beautiful drive to the location. Thanks again,Norm.
Having stayed at numerous accommodations over the years, this is by far one of the best experiences I have ever had and what Boondockers Welcome is all about. You'll never meet a nicer couple and the serenity of the camping is unbeatable!
The hosts are two of the nicest people you could ever hope to meet. I am extremely grateful for their generous hospitality and helpful advice about my coach. Everything was wonderful!
I don’t think words can fully describe how wonderful our stay at Flat Acre Farms was. I always read about how great hosts are, how nice the property was or if it’s conveniently located, etc. This place has that...times 10! First off the parking spots are legit spaces...like in an actual RV park, except you’re not on top of your neighbor, like in an actual RV park.
We had water AND electric hookups...as in 50AMP!
The area was super safe and quiet, not only that, you’re just about 15-20 mins to downtown Branson.
All of this for free??? Did I mention that our host was about the coolest, most down to earth guy around??
I almost hate posting this cause I’m afraid the secret will get out and if we’re ever in the area he’s going to be consistently booked!
Thank you for hosting us, I love your place and we wish you nothing but the best!!!
We had a peaceful and fun stay at Flat Acre Farms. Close to so many attractions in Bronson, MO. You could spend a week and not see it all. The hosts are friendly and very accommodating. Their camp is well thought out and easily accessible for all rig sizes.
From the photo you can see how incredible this place is - like a mini RV park right in their back yard - and being there is person was still impressive!
When we arrived the host was waiting for us on the road and led us into the perfect spot on his property. Hookups were better than most RV parks we've been at and the area is incredibly well maintained. Between discussions with the host, and our experience at the site, it's clear he is passionate and dedicated to providing an exceptional experience for RVers traveling through.
We appreciated fresh eggs from the host and we all loved playing with the cows and feeding the chickens. We also enjoyed getting to know the hosts.
It was a wonderful quiet respite about 30 mins from Branson and surrounded by parks and trails to explore.
We really appreciated everything about this host and this location - thanks so much!
We had a nice stay .Wished we could of stayed longer, but had to go . You can walk to AR. and back in less than 1 hr. ( Don't miss this one.) Top of the line place.
A picture is worth a thousand words . That's all i'am saying. Host are great .
Great communication and advice as we headed in. Our host was there to greet us and show us where to park. Is a fantastic setting and a great place to camp. We pull a 44 foot toyhauler and it was easy to manuver around and get settled in. Cows, chickens, grass, open fields, beautiful nights, relaxing days and an interesting, friendly and knowledgeable host, topped off with fresh farm eggs.....as good as it gets.
The hosts are very helpful, understanding and kind. Not enough good to say. Very quiet at night and good location for many local activities. Many pleasant fellow RVers around.
Nice facility and improving all the time!
This is what BW should be like! :-)
Thanks for hosting us again "Ron" ;-) !!
We really enjoyed our time at Flat Acre Farm. The spots are excellent, the location is amazing
for Ozark adventures and Ntaft0904 was a kind and generous host. We will certainly return if we find ourselves in the area again. Thank you for a fantastic stay!
Great set up here! Lots if room and very enjoyable stay! Far better than many RV parks I've stayed at and paid $30+ for! Would definitely stay again! Hosts were super friendly and even fattened up my doggos with lots of treats!
Don’t miss an opportunity to experience Flat Acre Farms. Hosts are so cool and presented us with fresh eggs upon arrival. Also let me stay a bit longer than I originally anticipated. Hershey was spoiled with yummy dog treats. He got excited whenever he say the green golf cart that The host drives. So kind of this couple to provide this respite spot. Calf’s are so sweet. Greenery everywhere. 👍🏼😊
Norm and Rhonda have a amazing place. Norm has put so much time in Flat Acre Farms that it is so clean and very welcoming. We have stayed here 3 times now and every time there is more improvements. This place is better then most campgrounds we have been to. Norm and Rhonda are great hosts. They will visit with you and make it a great stay.
Thanks for having us stay
We are fortunate to call these Hosts our Friends. Our third stay.
Family members are given from a Heavenly Father. Friends are "found" with GOD's help.
We are now solidly in both Categories because of the Love in FLAT ACRE FARMS "BIG" warm Hearts.
Get here and you'll find that there are still good people in this world.
Thanks again Flat Acre Farms for your Gift to us.
The first positive is that I used the new Boondockers Welcome App to book this stay. It was really easy and it made it convenient to contact the host as we got closer to his farm. The second positive was that this was a great place with a dozen eggs free. Ntaft0904 and his wife were great and we met several other campers that made for some enjoyable conversation. We will be in the SW MO again and we will definitely stay again.
We had such an enjoyable stay at this location. We did some sight seeing in the area, but our favorite part was getting to know the hosts and the other families that were there during our stay. Our boys didn’t want to leave, and neither did we! When we’re in the area again, we’ll definitely stop over!
We stayed at Flat Acres Farms for a second time, a year apart.
WOW! is all I can say to the treat that was in store for us.
The level, graveled sites are built and accompanied with brand new power poles and water are stellar!
Plenty of room for BIG rigs and plain ole Boon-docking, no hookup places to park.
Thanks you two and we may see these warm and loving folks again very soon.
Appreciated the farm fresh eggs that were shared too. YUM!!
What an amazing place! My husband kept commenting on how safe he felt here. The farm is peaceful and beautiful and the hosts are a wonderful couple! We were met at the drive and led to a space by the host who also gifted us some delicious farm fresh eggs! The hosts would drive through the camping area in the gold cart and we enjoyed every minute we were able to chat with them - so much life experience and generosity. They were great with the kids, too! Thank you so much for your incredible hospitality. We hope we are able to come see you again!
We had the best time hanging out at Flat Acre Farms. The host and his wife are truly amazing people. We got to hang out with the cows, Fawn and Autumn, enjoyed a couple of beautiful sunsets and lovely evening walks. I would highly recommend this location and will definitely plan to stay again. Thanks so much!
I would highly recommend stopping here on your way through. Not only is it close to some cool towns but the owners are really amazing people. Willing to help you if needed or give you your space. We will definitely stop here again when traveling through!
Flat acre farms, was our first Boondockers Welcome experience. Mr and his wife where so friendly and hospitable! The farm was quiet and peaceful. Amazingly groomed level parking spots with water and electric hookups on each. Host introduced our boys (5 & 3) to his cows and chickens, and allowed them to ride their bikes around the yard and driveway. We so enjoyed our stay and plan to stop again if we're in the area.
Flat acre was a great stay.
The host was very helpful getting us to the location and helping us with the parking
They have a great set up with easy parking.
We would stay here again if we are in the area again.
Felt like coming home! Before we hit the road full time we had a little hobby farm in SW MO. This was a little piece of heaven and we really enjoyed our stay! Our hosts were very kind and we enjoyed great conversations. The farm fresh eggs were a delicious treat.
Easy in and out with our 40’ 5er. Ground was a bit soggy from recent weather but as soon as we were parked the tractor was out to level the drive. The 50 amp hookups were handy to keep us warm and cozy.
We look forward to visiting again and enjoying the wonderful company of these fantastic hosts.
Norm and Rhonda have done so much to there land that this place is better then any campground. This was are second time here and Norm has put all new rock down and has made 2 places for a group fire pits and fire wood to be used. This two deserve a great big Applause for what they’ve done. Thanks Norm and Rhonda!!!!!
Looking forward to next stay.
This was my first stay with Boondockers Welcome and just as others say, our hosts at Flat Acre Farms are exceptional. The sites are flat and well equipped. They are very intentional about the sites. The planning of the sites was clearly done by RVers who understand the needs of RVers
I am working toward full time RVing and this week tested a number of things with great success. Our host helped with many little lessons as I get used to a different kind of camper. My heart is full and my brain is full. Thank you!
Thank you too, to the egg layers and the four leggeds who were good company for this city girl.
We traveled 14+ hours from Minnesota to Flat Acre Farm. We wanted to get as far south and out of freezing temperatures as we could on our first day out. It was nearly dark when we arrived and we were dog tired. Our host met us, lead us in to the level parking pad, saw how tired we were and asked if he could set us up and get us level. Oh, what a blessing that was!! He gave us a welcoming gift of six eggs from his “girls!” We will definitely keep Flat Acre Farm as a star on our map of places to stay. We highly recommend this host. ❤️
Can't say enough great things about our stay here. Norm saw us coming and guided us from the road into our spot on his golf cart. Not that we'd need guiding in - the place is laid out nicer than most campgrounds we've been to! The place is super, the hosts are great, the kids had fun chasing the soccer ball around the nicely mowed yard, there was water and 50A power, young calves in the barn to visit, and Branson 20 minutes away. And a dozen eggs upon arrival. Seriously, this place is a destination and not a stopover. Really enjoyed our time talking with Norm and Rhonda and we will be back to visit! Thanks so much, it made our brief MO stay special.
We completely enjoyed our stay here! The hosts were very helpful and accommodating! Would highly recommend to anyone coming to the Branson area!
This place is amazing. The owners helped us fix some things on our RV while there and are very sociable and laid back. They have chickens and a few cows on the property and very easy access to get in and out of the place. The site we had was level and also 50 amp service that we needed. They also provide a water hookup. They love animals so bring them for sure. One of the best place and nicest people around.
Flat Acre farms is an absolutely beautiful place. The host truly have a passion for what they do. This was our first trip in our new to us Motorhome and fist stay with BW.. The bar for hospitality has been set high. We would definitely request another stay if we are in the area . Unfortunately we weren't able to say goodbye in person on our final day but, I'm sure we will meet again .
What a lovely campground!!! The hosts, N. and R were a very interesting couple...we enjoyed their hospitality!! We arrived in the rain so didn't get to visit with this couple as much as we would have liked. What a neat gesture...a gift of eggs...delivered right to our door!! The morning of departure, we did get to visit with the hosts and some of the other boondockers which was enjoyable as well. We would certainly stop by again when the opportunity arises.. Thanks to you two for hosting us!!
After a great day of road tripping & hiking, we made it to Flat Acre Farms, where our host was waiting for us on his golf art to show us to our spot. The story of how he came to be a boondockers host was heartwarming. Our overnight spot was better than an RV park, and even with other camper next to us was quiet & peaceful. We would definitely stay again. Thanks for your warm hospitality.
They have the best setup for Boondocker’s Welcome that I have ever seen! Also he is very interesting to talk to. Enjoyed our stay very much. Hope that someday we can return. Also his setup for traveling is one of the neatest I have ever seen.
Two of the nicest people you could ever meet! I won't go into details because this sight has a lot of privacy rules. These fine folks went above and beyond what a nice hoast would do. That being said, I hope I get the chance to hoast them someday and exceed their expectations as much as they did ours!
Thank you so very much for being you! ❤
Super nice location. Nice and level with several spots. Good power and water.
What more could you ask for... Oh, great hosts... Yep, got that too.
We'll be back.
We had to delay our stay by one day and they graciously made room for us even though they were full. This is a mini RV Park with exceptional hosts. I even got to feed a 2 month old calf.
It was raining the morning we left so we had little time to visit but throughly enjoyed hearing how this little piece of RV boondocking heaven got started. Thanks Ntaft0904.
3rd time we have stayed here and it keeps getting better. They have become great friends and we will be back.
This was our first time staying at a Boondockers Welcome site, and the bar has been set high for any place after staying here.
The hosts were amazing. He was out front to meet us as soon as we pulled on the street. He then led us to our spot and greeted us with farm fresh eggs. We spent some time talking with him and the other fine people there before setting up. In the evening, we gathered around the fire and spent time talking. Fireside chats are not something my wife and I get to do very often, and were a great time. They were helpful with local attractions and directions. My wife and I left feeling refreshed.
As for the sites, I have stayed at campgrounds that have not been laid out so nice!!! The sites are level with a frim stoned base with real, green grass in between. Each site had a picnic table and a fire ring. The utilities were right there and expertly installed. To top it off, the sites were pull through. They truly have built a mini-RV park there.
We will be back.
You’ll arrive as strangers and leave as friends. We couldn’t recommend this place enough. We’ll definitely be back!
What a great pair of Boondocker Hosts. Warm, inviting and friendly! This one goes beyond all expectations. We thought we were in a professional RV park! Angled parking, 50A Electric, great water pressure. The Hosts even knows where you can go for a VERY reasonable dump fee! The Host met us at the street. He directed traffic while we got onto his property from the street. He led us to a space in his buggy. We got set up and had 2 hours of immediate conversation. Turns out, we have sooooo many things in common.
We had great conversation about local attractions, RV’s, farming and many other topics. The Hosts are RVer’s themselves. What a rig they have! We compared a lot of notes. The Host gave us some great tips about which roads to take when we finally leave to lessen the curves and mountains.
This location is within 30 minutes of Branson, MO. Lots of entertainment and restaurants there. Over-the-Air TV has 48 channels. Just point to 25.0°. And if you have Verizon, the tower is less than a half-mile away. Our phone registered 5 bars without the WeBoost.
Be aware that if you come from the north into and thru Branson, and have a particularly large rig, there are a lot of long and steep mountain grades and curves to contend with. You will want to converse with the Hosts for some better alternative routes and helpful tips if you want to avoid this. Otherwise, it’s a very nice drive. The turn into the property can be a bit of a challenge if you are new to pulling large rigs but plenty doable. We have a 42’ 5th wheel and drove right on in but we’ve been doing this for a while. The swing in needs to be just right and as wide as possible.
Between the host, the amenities, and the local entertainment, it will make you want to stay here forever! Thank you to the Hosts for an exceptional stay. With their permission, we will definitely keep this one on our secret list of places to come back to. So, anyone reading this post…don’t tell anyone!!! It’s a golden secret!
Nice clean, well kept site and terrific people. Both welcomed us with open arms and some fresh farm eggs right as we drove up. We contacted them when we were just an hour away as they requested and both answered with an air of expectations. It was good to know we had a friendship welcoming us even before we got there. Sure takes the edge off of meeting someone new in a place we had never been before.
Even though the spots were level by our standards, Our host asked to make sure we were comfortable with our spot. Very accommodating folks. He also helped me with a little upgrade I had to do on my Mini Winnie.
Can't say it enough, Great Peeps! Hope to visit here again.
This is by far the more amazing and best Boondockers Welcome place we've stayed. The host is extremely helpful, and as a certified mobile tech, he is more than willing to help with any problem ... for free! Amazing!
We will definitely be staying here again when our travels take us through this area!
This boondocker couple has hospitality down pat. Warm, welcoming and has almost all the comforts of a 5 star campground, I say almost because his plans are to soon add what’s missing!! Will definitely return when in the area again. Thanks SO MUCH NTaft0904
What a nice place and Norm and Rondah are the best hoist ever. We had RV trouble and Norm helped me through it. We will be back had a great visit.
We’ll set up and organized. Very cordial, generous hosts. We were given a dozen farm fresh eggs up on our arrival. Highly recommended, and would stay there again if ever in the area.
Norm and his wife was very friendly host. Greated us with a dozen eggs and invited us to a camp fire with other campers. Was helpful in any way . Help us fix the camper with no charge. great place to stay
Norm & Rhonda have a beautiful acreage. They are fantastic hosts. Norm met us at the beginning of his drive with a dozen eggs, smile and warm welcome. They are very giving and helpful people. Rhonda brought firewood for us. They really know how to host we will be back again. Highly recommend this host.
BEWARE: You may not want to leave!!! 😁We could not ask for more gracious hosts. We were treated like family from the moment we arrived. He even helped us with rig repairs while we were there! The entire area is beautiful and very well maintained, and we got the best recommendation for a quiet swimming spot near by with an awesome view. You don’t want to miss this stop! We can’t wait to come back and stay a few days. Thank you both for everything, again! You are doing God’s work friends.
What a true pleasure to have met these hosts and stayed at the beautiful property. These folks give Boondockers Welcome its soul. The desire to serve our traveling community by offering a beautiful setting and safe haven is evident and so appreciated. The warm greeting, fantastic conversations left us wishing we were staying more than just the ‘stop over’. Our dog loved the open space too. Thank you Flat Acre Farms for sharing your home/space with these grateful travelers. We so enjoyed meeting you and do hope we can return again and spend some more time with you.
Now that we’ve had our second stay at Flat Acre Farms we feel like old friends with Norm and Rhonda. Great facility, great location, great people, even a great hamburger joint down the road where we joined them for dinner. We will surely stay here any time we are heading in that direction. We have recommended FAF to several campers we’ve met on the road.
Thank you for a wonderful welcome! We enjoyed a great evening visiting around a fire w the hosts and another family staying there. The kids ran around playing and having a good time. This place is well kept and beautiful. They have it set up like a mini campground - pull thru spots, electric and water as an option, a picnic table and a fire ring. Thanks again for a great stay!
The host greeted us warmly and guided us to our excellent and flat site. He provided a wealth of information about the area including a great quiet spot where we could enjoy the lake nearby without crowds. Wish we could have stayed longer and chatted with them. Would definitely stay here again when passing through.
Absolutely yes! Norm and Rhonda are very accommodating and entertaining hosts. After Norm led us in his golf cart around to our site, he spent the next several minutes wrestling with our 18-month old boxer. He hung around and talked with us as we got our rig situated, told us about the area and the history of Flat Acres Farm. Norm warns you up front, after 40 years sitting alone driving truck, he surely likes to talk with folks, and he is an interesting and entertaining fellow. Aside from the warm greeting and comradery, one of the features of Flat Acres Farm is that it is situated about 30 minutes from Branson, an easy drive through beautiful country. Unfortunately, we were there for only 2 nights, but we plan to come back to spend some time exploring the area and visiting with Norm and Rhonda. Great place to unwind. Quiet place to camp whether you are boondocking or hooked up for the night.
We stayed with these hosts for three nights. Our C class needed minor leveling but it was no big deal. Site had water and electric hook up, fire pit, and picnic table. The location was peaceful and spacious. Hosts were open, friendly, and willing to help with anything. They provided leveling boards, let us use their air compressor to check tire pressure, and helped with a minor repair to the hydraulic lift system. Their property is close enough to the Branson and Table Rock Lake area for day trips. Can’t say enough positive things about the hosts. Chances are you’ll leave there having made new friends and a promise to visit again.
Hosts were awesome and the sites are big and level with gravel. 3 sites so far have electric 30/50amp and water hookups. Very close to Branson and a lot of other great places to see. We will be back.
Nice facility with helpful hosts. We enjoyed the area and will return!
Hook ups available if needed. Flat sites.
Verizon tower a mile away.
Did I mention the host was helpful and friendly?
Norm & Rhonda were the BEST hosts ever.
Their place was amazing with power & water, picnic table & fire ring with wood.
They allowed us to extend our stay & Norm helped me with my RV.
They were very friendly & thoughtful.
We will definitely be returning when we are back in that area.
Thanks Norm & Rhonda.
Our stay at Flat Acre Farms (FAF) was excellent. The host went above and beyond to make our stay accommodating and enjoyable. In fact it seems one of his goals in retirement is to set up his property to accommodate Boondocking rigs of all sizes. We loved the fact that our nearest “neighbors” were the cows grazing in the pasture next to our camper. Both FAF host were extremely friendly and offered up any tools (and extensive knowledge) needed to fix any RV or vehicle related problem that we might have had. With Branson, Table Rock Lake, and lots of other sights in the area you won’t lack for things to do if you so desire. If not, FAF is just a great place to relax. Would we stop here again...you bet ya we would! And it’s a beautiful enough area that we just might.
We absolutely loved our stay with Flat Acre Farms. They made us feel so very welcome and even let us stay an extra night! We were nervous to drive into Kansas with the storms rolling in, there yard was a safe haven.
We enjoyed riding our bikes in the grassy yard and loved the cows and chickens!
The camper spot we used was graveled with medium to large rocks giving us a solid and extremely level foundation.
10/10 would stay with FAF again.
I had such a marvelous time. My hosts were really awesome and accommodating. They even gave me the super deluxe site to park! Fresh eggs. Great time for my dogs. You must, must visit!
We stayed at Flat Acre Farms with our four children, and we had the an absolutely lovely time. We woke up to a beautiful sunrise over the cow pasture each morning, and our kids had a blast riding their bikes on the property and trying to coax the cows to come closer. Ntaft0904 was very accommodating the our entire stay, making sure we had everything we needed. We felt so welcome and left rested and already talking about a return trip.
Flat Acre Farm is a super place to stay! Norm was an excellent Boondockers Welcome host. He greeted us as we approached his property and guided us to where we needed to park our travel trailer and helped us get level and all hooked up with electric & water. He chatted with us and made us feel very comfortable. He showed us around, showed us his camping rigs and shared his knowledge of camping. This place offers a great location that is far enough, but yet close enough to see and visit the local area; Branson, the strip, Restaurants, Table Rock Lake State Park, Table Rock Dam and Top of the Rock. We really enjoyed our stay here and would gladly recommend this place to anyone passing through. We hope we can come back in our future travels. Thank you Norm & Rhonda for sharing your place with us. "Cesar says ... This Place Rocks!"
Wow! These people are RV people focused. It was easy for this new RV'r to park a 34' Montana 5th wheel. Heck, it could have been a Tractor Trailer 100' long for that matter if they made them.
Stay here and drive back up to Branson, MO when you want to shop, show or eat at the many restaurants. No need to be in Branson proper.
They at Flat Acre Farms have created an easy to use location near beautiful Table Rock Lake right on the MO/AR border. He has built professional picnic tables, 50 amp hookup, pure water to drink, and even multiple WIFI nodes for those like me whom need internet for work. They have a vision and have implemented it folks.
Your neighbor is the pasture of cows & the Blue Eye school with the School's Public Resource Officers driving by to and from the school so you are safe.
Class Act!! Will stay there again when in the area. Thanks Flat Acre Farms for the rest and the training on my RV from your deep knowledge base.
our stay here couldn't have been more enjoyable..from the time we arrived with refrigerator vent hanging from top of our camper to the last minute tour of host's and another guest's tow vehicles. they helped set up our camper, then took over on repairing my camper vent, all while my wife and I were readying for a concert we were to attend in branson that night. after the show was over, collecting autographs from Gene Watson and band, and a very nice meal in Branson, we returned to the very peaceful farm. we were shown the very professional repair job that the host and his other guest had done on our camper the next day.
our visit here surpassed all expectations. THANKS TO ALL. we'll be back
We were only able to meet the male part of Ntaft0904 but he did a stellar job of hosting. Extremely friendly and so knowledgable. Bill and I were there to test out some upgrades we made to our camper and do a little camping. Norm met us on arrival and showed us our home spot for the night. Offered help is we needed it and left us to get on with it. We went into Branson for a while and came back, later on, to have a nice dinner in our little camper.
Sunday we slept in a bit but were wakened by the sound of cows outside our camper. It was fun to hear them, they were not disturbing at all.
When we got out and about Norm came to check on us and we got into a great discussion on pulling 5th wheels. He gave us a fantastic tour of his shop and his project. Super interesting.
We left feeling welcomed and happy.
We could not ask for a better host.
We spent 2 nights here. Host welcomed our family of 6 as we arrived after dark. He showed us where to park and where to get water. We were out the next day to visit Branson which was a half hour drive away. Host was friendly and more than accommodating. There were a few other boondockers on site along with us. Great stop on our way to Texas.
Our stay at flat acre farms was beyond expectations. It’s a family atmosphere where you can feel safe and if you have camper questions the host is quick to answer them. Level sites with full hookups open area for dogs cows graze in the fields it’s the perfect stop on the way to your next destination. Flat Acre Farms is in the full spirit of boondocking I highly recommend them. Thank you Flat Acre Farms!
These are great people and we will be back again. We have become great friends.
Norm and Rhonda were fabulous hosts! We stayed with a few other Boondockers and ended up with a great friendship. We went to a couple of shows together, ate great dinners together, and even had a chance to do a few repairs on our RV. It has been, by far, our best boondocking experience. If we ever get back to this area we will definitely stay here.
What a great place and great hosts!!! He helped me fix multiple problems the my rig that woulda cost big $$$ at a shop! Also gave me great advice being the newbie I am....👍👍👍!!!!
Location was great, scenic drive into Branson. Really enjoyed these people, went to a local restaurant for diner and had a camp fire. We hope to meet again.
Norm and Rhonda were so, so gracious and helpful! We have new friends for life.
We'll stay again if we ever get the chance. Might even drop by just to chew the fat some day. :-)
He really can fix anything.
Super kind hearted helpful people. We will be backl
This was the first time we used Boondockers Welcome and it was wonderful. Ntaft0904 could not have been better hosts. The space provided was way beyond what we expected. We had a wide open area for our rig which is 41' long and our Ram dually and so much more. They provided water and electricity which we did not expect. But better still they provided warm friendship and hospitality. We had never been to Missouri and they gave us all the time in the world showing us the area when we asked if they would. We invited them to dinner our first night and enjoyed the evening so much we hoped they enjoyed it as much. Warm, friendly, hospitable and hopefully friends for life. We had so much fun with them we stayed an extra day and are going back in November. Our dogs got to run free which with a 1 year old boxer and a 5 year old German Shepherd is a real treat. We highly recommend this boondocking experience!
Host has a great place to stay here. They exceeded our expectations for a night stay boondocking, as they have electric and water hookup. Host and his wife were both very friendly and hospitable and helped us set up and also with local advice on locations to visit in the area and in Branson.
Will definitely stay here again in the future when we are in the area.
