Have you stayed at this host location?
Leave a reference for this hostA small organic homestead with poultry, dogs and other animals roaming the place. The parking area is to the rear for smaller RV's and on drive near front for large ones in a secluded quiet space. That said, the sounds of nature can be a bit noisy, especially at night in the spring! Pretty good stargazing, a picnic table and fire ring for a relaxing evening. Relatively level spots, may have to reverse or turn around larger rigs, anything under 30' or so should be able to drive out.
Trees line our driveway so tall or wide rigs may have branches brushing the sides or roof...please stay on driveway.
It is bumpy gravel (on purpose!) go slowly-there are children, chickens, geese and dogs which may be out roaming. They get right of way. Leave site clean, no butts, food or garbage.
No generators between 7pm-9 am if you are told there are B&B house guests here. We frequently host in the summer months and on weekends. If no guests, then generators are not an issue.
All pets must be leashed.
Flat blacktop county roads
Off street parking on gravel driveway near rig
The calendar is open, however there are circumstances where I may have too many B&B guests and can't host. Try to send me a message as soon as you think you will be in the area so I can share whether it will be possible.
We are within 1 hour of Niagara Falls, Buffalo, Rochester, Lewiston and Old Fort Niagara. It is minutes away from Point Breeze and Oak Orchard River where sport fishing, kayaking, canoeing and swimming can be enjoyed. Many antique and wine trails, and the Erie Canal corridor with turn of the century canal towns galore. Cobblestone Museum complex minutes away also.
Gorgeous, peaceful spot to stay, with a warm and welcoming host.
Really nice quiet spot in a small town. Lots of room around back with shady trees. Host was very friendly and accommodating for our two day stay. We loved the animals and vibrant garden.
Host was very helpful with tips about our trip to visit Niagara Falls amongst other things. Great little spot nestled behind her house which we found out was once a mill that has been lovingly restored. Be careful driving in as there are a few geese, chickens, dogs & cat. Thank you for the stay
Heather and her sons were great Hosts. We felt comfortable and had a great time. We sat by the campfire, picked raspberries, pet the cat, and chatted with Heather about things to do along the eastern coastline. we would highly recommend camping here. It had a country feel and was very relaxing.
We enjoyed our stay in your place. It was very peaceful. With all we need...
We will come back. Thanks for your hospitality in this weard period of time. We appreciate.
Thanks It was our last strech back home.
Great host, very accommodating and generous, gifted us with her own organic eggs. Interesting to talk to, including good tips for traveling. Woke up to the sound of the free range chickens. Right next to a small post office - very handy. Five miles from the Cobblestone Church Museum.
From the moment I arrived, I bonded with my host, her son, plus their dogs, cats, turkeys and the protector of the farm...a giant white male goose. We had tremendous commonality and interesting conversations. Generally, they are very busy with their farm, so I was happy to catch them when they had a bit of time to share their thoughts. If you're in the mood to spoil yourself, she also has an airbnb, so a large space with hot showers for airbnb guests is also available with a reservation.
We so enjoyed staying here, especially our day at Niagara Falls. Everything was as described although a bit tight for our 40 foot motor home. It is doable however. So peaceful and we even made friends with the cat. Gracious hosts.
The site was level and easily accessed off the main blacktop road. Our host was an engaging conversationalist exploring a raft of topics including our joint loves of travel, good diet, and organics. A very peaceful night.
Thank you,
