Location

Access Road Conditions: The only problem I can see is that I am on top of the hill so we always park ready to go forward as not to have to back up on the street. Tow Vehicle Parking Details: If necessary, the tow vehicle can park in the church parking lot which is quite big.

Loving the simple life Details: We are living in a trailer that has been transformed in a mobile home, the lot in large enough to accommodate more than one docker. We enjoy living close to the river for the pleasure of the falls, the trails, the pleasure of the sand banks. Home Town: We are situated in Notre-Dame-de-Montauban, a small community of about 800 people, situated in a touristic area by the Batiscan river. We are a retired couple, planning to spend our winter in warm weather. Favorite Boondocking Locations: Never done it before Skills or Expertise to Share: We are bilingual, French and English. We have 2 kayaks, 1 canoe.

I cannot rave enough about our host. She is the sweetest and most kind women out there! She was so accommodating and gave us lots of great information about what there was to do in town. I advise anyone who goes to Quebec to stay in this town and stay with this wonderful lady. There are lakes and mountains you won’t regret staying a few day’s here. I hope to come back again.
