Very easy access, with lots of turn around room— a large well drained and solid mowed field to park in. There is no water hookup, but water is available for fill up if need be--we are on a well so possibly at the end of a very dry summer we would not be able to accommodate. During the growing season there is quite a bit of activity as we keep a large vegetable garden. There is also a pottery on the property, which is open to visitors by appointment only. Public beach access is available just a short walk away.
We often get requests from people who wish to visit Seattle. We are a two to two-and-one-half hour drive from Seattle via a toll bridge or 40 minutes from the Bainbridge ferry to Seattle.
No smoking on the property please. All pets on leash please. Generators quiet from 9:00 PM to 7:00 AM. All pets on leash, no unattended pets left tied out.
Well-packed dirt and gravel driveway. Flat, easy access with turnaround in solid/dry mowed field where rig will be parked.
Next to the rig.
NOTICE: We are having to temporarily refuse any requests due to CoVid. Hopefully soon we will be able to host again.
Saltwater activities abound, several nearby Puget Sound beaches and State parks for kayaking, beach combing, claming, fishing and hiking. Poulsbo is a great little Viking Village on the water to explore with restaurants, unique shops, kayak and SUP rentals, a small marine/aquarium, historical center, and four micro breweries—all within one and one-half mile from our location. Keyport Undersea Warfare Museum is minutes away.
Hi to Spirit of Freedom...and 'crew'. We couldn't have created and built our new camper door (after limping into your property with our locked door), without the help of All of your 'crew'! Thank you for your patience, great advice, and encouragement. A lovely spot to spend some time with lovely people. Ruth and Steve
I enjoyed these couple of days very much. Poulsbo is such a wonderful town and I couldn't have enjoyed my time with Pam, my host, more. Great place to visit.
