Unfortunately we never heard back from our request to stay at Spartan Hometown, and we had to look elsewhere.

Upon our arrival John promptly greated us and helped us park our trailer. After we were set up they invited us for pizza dinner / break bread together. We spent a lovely 3 days there, which allowed me to show my wife the area. The site was on a gravel driveway and relatively flat / level which made setting up the trailer very easy. We would definitely stay again.

We had a very nice stay with John and Karen. They took us on a short tour of the neighborhood and recommended a couple spots for dinner. They have a nice level gravel spot next to the house and even ran a power cord out for us to use. We enjoyed chatting with them, and left early the next day. Highly recommended.
