We have 30amp hookups and water. Open farmland surrounded by low hills and trees. Verizon cell coverage only! Sewer dump is available in Spirit Lake 3.5miles away. If you are traveling as a group we have lots of room if you don't mind "true Boondocking". We have a working farm for those of you with kids (or feel like one). Llama, horses, goats, rabbits, ducks, dogs and cats.
We have fences and gates for a reason. The fences up front keep our dogs in to keep the deer (and Moose) out, the fences in back keep the predators away from our livestock and our livestock away from you ;) Please close gates and keep your pets from harassing the livestock if possible. (hasn't been a problem, just FYI)
We do have neighbors (even though you can't see them) please don't run generators. We have a church group that meets here on Sunday, please be respectful of our commitment to them.
Off paved State Highway, mature drive, parking area is packed pasture or graveled pads. There are gates that will have to be opened for access. Trees have been trimmed for RV height and width.
Lots of room near RV spots, you may even be able to leave them hooked up if you want.
Sites are currently available every day of the week.
Silverwood Theme Park, Stoneridge Resort and Golf Course, Farragut State Park and Museum (Navy), Lots of lakes and we have some Kayaks available for guests to use. The Farm is on the Selkirk Scenic Route for you Bikers and Classic Car Enthusiasts. Also, Blanchard Mercantile for grocery, Ice cream, and meals or Spirit Lake has several restaurants, Brickle Creek Coffee Shop, Annie's for breakfast, Messy's Burgers for lunch, and Mi Pueblo for dinner. Diesel, Gasoline and Propane are available in Spirit Lake 3.5 miles South (as well as a Sewer dump).
A wonderfully fun and refreshing stay! Perfectly level ground and the water tastes great! We never met the llama, but the goats and dogs were amazingly sweet! Idaho's hospitality is next level.
It is very peaceful here. We could relax in peace and quiet. If we find ourselves in this area again we will definitively stay here.
Had a very peaceful and quiet stay in the beautiful Idaho countryside.
The RV sites are huge and perfectly level - each with 30amp and water hookups.
Enjoyed watching the wild turkeys come through the pastures - several times - as well as watching the farm animals right next to us. The 3 dogs were always so happy to greet us when coming & going. Wish we actually had more time to get to know our hosts here a bit better - but they both apparently work full time jobs locally so we hardly even saw each other.
We really appreciated being able to stay here. Hope we get the chance to return some day.
Unfortunately I had to leave early because of the wildfire smoke from WA/OR but was so grateful to have one night on this beautiful farm with the wonderful hosts! They have a wonderful place and we are so lucky they open in up to RVers. Cannot wait to be back in the area and hope they have an opening for me again!
This was a great stay! Lacie, John and daughter were very kind and hospitable. They took time out of their day to chat and even let the kiddos visit with the animals. Wonderful water and 30 amps an added bonus! Always amazed at the generosity of boondockers welcome hosts and this was no exception.
Large farm with huge, level RV sites which include electric and water hookups.
Hosts extremely friendly and helpful - even going out onto the main Hwy to flag us down so we would not miss the farm entrance.
Very quiet with scenic views of surrounding mountains and forests.
Great spot, great hosts!
Your host meets you at the gate with fresh goat's milk and vegetables from their garden and welcomes you to his beautiful property. Full hookups are provided and they don't ask that you give them any money, they embody the true Spirit of boondockers welcome.
He and his wife have a lovely property and are so wonderful and caring towards all of their guests. We enjoyed our stay and will stay with them again.
Jonathan and his family have a beautiful farm! We only stayed for one night due to other arrangements but wish we stayed longer. Spacious land filled with a llama and goats. Ducks and dogs and more. Jonathan treated us to a jar of goat milk and his homegrown produce. When we are back in the area it is one place we want to stay and take in for a while. Thank you!
Our hosts were accommodating, pleasant, and provided suggestions about places to explore in the area. location was a challenge to find but our host was waiting for us at the side of the road and drove ahead of us into their property. There was plenty of area for our rig and extra vehicle.
This was a great location between Spirit Lake and Bean lake. Was able to get some great hiking in, and the hosts were wonderful. Great to have hook ups and a quiet place to spend a few nights. Thanks so much!
I really love to be out in the country and around all these animals. The hosts were very welcoming and are clearly hard-working people. Beautiful land, quite a few places to walk. Very quiet night.
Unfortunately, I didn’t see them in the morning before I left but didn’t want to knock on the door since it was early Sunday morning. Thank you again for letting me stay!
We are a very good stop. At Spirit Creek Farm. He met us at the top of the driveway to guide us in, set us up with electric and water, and offered suggestions for the area. I would stay again. Very grateful for the hospitality!
I had a lovely stay here. My dog Rhodie & I loved watching the goats, llama, wild turkeys & the beautiful location. Thanks to Jon & Lacie for bringing their farm forward for Boondockers Welcome. I highly recommend this location.
This host’s land is beautiful and peaceful! He is very well prepared for boondockers with a helpful information sheet & we enjoyed every recommendation we tried on it. Our children thoroughly enjoyed getting to pet the animals and hold the baby bunnies and his daughter was intelligent, kind & patient when showing them the animals and answering all of their questions. Hospitable, friendly, Christian family who showed us grace and let us stay when we inadvertently broke the “no generator after 10pm” rule and then he even allowed us to switch spots since our power wasn’t working initially. AT&T users be sure to review the information and rules prior to arrival as you won’t be able to access the BW site to review special notes and instructions on sight. You are able to get service/internet in the cute little downtown area just 7 minutes away and there’s a great little coffee shop with WiFi for those who need it for work and homeschool. After driving through Montana at night, our front windshield was so covered in bugs that we struggled to see and drive safely. We were able to wash off the front windshield quickly with our water brush before driving again because the host’s water pressure was so excellent. We appreciate the hospitality and the host’s clear attention to detail and sharing his wonderful farm.
The site was very peaceful and quiet, with multiple sites- each with electric (a bonus for cpap users!). The dogs and goats were very friendly, as were the hosts. Thanks so much for a wonderful nights sleep!!!
Easy access for 2 large rigs. 30amp service and good water. Highly recommended!
We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Spirit Creek Farm. The hosts are gracious people who even have electricity available! The RV Section is fenced off so really great for letting the dogs roam. Thank you SO much for your hospitality.
Great place we found at the last minute. Took us to our spot, water and 30amp electric . Great location to see the sites. Animal lovers campsite! Friendly hosts and we greeted in the morning with fresh eggs and goat milk. Would definitely stay here again, thank you!
Patty and Mark
We had a great time at the farm. The kids cannot stop talking about the experience they had touring the farm and petting the animals. Our hosts were very accommodating and we are thankful for their hospitality.
Our friendly host guided us to the right spot on his extensive property. Great view! Definitely call a few minutes ahead so he can meet you at the road and guide you in. Easy access through wide gates. Recommended!
Comfortable stay at Spirit Creek Farm. They have cleared a field and had three electric plug-ins and water connections. They provided good directions, it was easy to get our Class B camper van onto their property, and it was quiet at night. We appreciate the information sheet that they gave us when we arrived with important information and area businesses. Farragut State Park is 20 minutes away and has hiking, biking and water activities. Mi Pueblo in Spirit Lake had great Mexican takeout. Thanks!
We stayed at the farm for a couple days and it was great! The hosts are so kind and meet you with a guide of the area. Animals of all kinds are about and it is so interesting. Such a great stay, highly recommend!
We were greeted with a warm friendly smile and given a choice of where to stay. Later our host greeted us with duck eggs and goats milk!!! Perfect!! Then just left us to relax and enjoy his beautiful farm. Couldn't ask for better place to stay!!! Thank you so much for being a part of Boondockers family.
I had a very relaxing stay at this beautiful ranch. I loved watching the farm animals, especially the goats and horses and even saw a family of turkeys with their babies! I was able to take a couple day trips to Spirit Lake and Twin Lakes and explore the local area. Thank you so much for your hospitality and especially for allowing me to use water and electricity!
They gave us milk and eggs. We were there with 3 other rvs, it’s amazing there are still good people in this world who do stuff like this for others.
Amazing, peaceful property with everything you need. We couldn't believe we, and 2 other RVs, all had our OWN power and water. They even have a trash bin for the campers, and they offered to bring us fresh farm milk and duck eggs in the morning. So cool! The hosts are the nicest -- super friendly, amazingly quick to respond to messages, and so hospitable. We loved our stay and hope we pass back through sometime so we can stay again. :) Thank you!
We had been traveling around and really needed somewhere we could stay and rest for a few days. This was sooooo perfect!!! Water, power and PEACE. The site was pretty level and we were greeted with duck eggs and goats milk which I had never had before but YUM!!! So kind! This place was such a blessing! So thankful and grateful to SpiritCreek Farm for opening their space to us!
I’m in awe of their generosity and so very thankful for it.
Our hosts were lovely and the rv space was more than we expected! It was fun and we made friends with Patrick, the goat! When we arrived at our next destination and found out we had left a piece of equipment at their farm, they were wonderful in making sure to make arrangements to get it back to us!
Thanks again for making that happen and also the goat milk and ducks eggs!
Wonderful host family. Very hospitable. Site was easy to get to, and level. We used their 30 amp and water connections. Location is convenient to explore the surrounding areas. They made us feel comfortable and welcome. We would highly recommend this member and their property.
This spot is one of my favorites on my trip so far. The hosts are incredibly helpful and generous and their property is stunning. I got to wake up, open my back doors and watch the horses roam around. I would love to stay here again!
This is a quite little farm with plenty of open space. The owners are exceptionally friendly and kind. There were three spots with 30amp service and fresh water. There is a free dump station about 3 miles away in the nearest town. There was ample room for our dogs to run around outside. We enjoyed watching the horses run around in their pasture. This is a 10/10 location and you must stay if you are in the area!!!
We found the people and space so pleasant on our first day that we extended our stay. Fortunately our plans were flexible and space was available.
A great place to relax. We agree with previous reviewers that this is a delightful location. We’ve enjoyed sitting outside, listening to the breezes, and watching the farm animals. Definitely recommend Spirit Creek Farm to anyone passing through the area.
A great place to enjoy the natural sounds of the farm. Wonderful, gracious hosts from sharing milk and eggs from their farm to making sure we were aware of the local sites to see. We enjoyed a wonderful lunch at Mi Pueblo, one of their recommendations. I hope we can find an excuse to get by Spirit Creek Farm again. Thank you and your family for a very enjoyable stay.
The hosts were so welcoming, provided us with lots of information about the area. Our kids loved watching all the animals and helping with the chores. Couldn't have had a better experience, we would definitley come back!
This farm and family are great hosts. So welcoming and happy to have folks there. We got eggs and goat milk. The kids were able to join in morning chores. The location is perfect fo being able to do day trips to SO many areas. Ask them, they know so many things to do. We sure hope to come back for a bit longer.
Thank you for a great stay!!
We loved it at Spirit Creek Farm! The hosts were so gracious giving us duck eggs and goats milk! The space was quiet and we enjoyed all the farm animals. We would definitely stay here again! Thank you so much!!
Wonderful place. Host greeted us with a quart of goats milk and duck eggs. They also encouraged our 7 year grand daughter to be part of form chores. Taught her how to mike a goat. a great place. Would stay there again.
I don’t even know where to start! From parking in a Field full of wildflowers, with amazing views of the mountains and horses, to the warm welcome we received upon arrival! We got to try fresh goats milk and ducks eggs, had a wonderful conversation with our host, and just felt like family! This is a kind and loving family, and an experience you won’t want to miss... we are so grateful to have had the opportunity to stay here😊
Such a great stay! Every aspect of it—the kindness of our hosts, the beautiful location, all the animals. Couldn’t ask for anything more! This is only our second stay with Boondockers Welcome and they have set an awfully high bar for the future. :) It’s good to know there are such good people out there.
Spirit Creek Farm is a gem. We enjoyed conversation with the host about local points of interest and local habitat. The weather was overcast, sporadic light rain, but the scenic beauty of the area made up for it. It is a real nice place to unwind in preparation for moving east tomorrow. We would love to stay here again if we find ourselves in the area, hopefully with more time to explore. We are so grateful for the hospitality and the goat’s milk and duck eggs…. we were wary, but both were really good!
The host's were so welcoming! I called ahead and when I arrived they met me at the house and showed me where I could park. They gave us a flyer discribing what to do in the area. After I got set up, he came over to make sure everything was okay. Then a little later, she came over and checked in with us. She even brought us a quart of goats milk which is VERY GOOD!! We even got to pet the goats. They have a couple of horses out in the pasture. They were kicking up their heels and running around. Very neat to watch. Good spot to park. In a field with gravel base. 30 amp and water. Level spot. Easy to get in and out with a big rig. Quiet. Great, great place to stay for a night or more. Wish we would have planned a longer stay. We will come back here for sure! Thank you Spirit Creek Farm!!
Some fine RVing here, just like past reviews say. It’s a pretty location, has great hosts, has water (good pressure even) and electricity, and it’s just off a main roadway (traffic noise is barely audible). Thank you, Spirit Creek Farm!
Staying at Spirit Creek Farm was so nice. We had our choice of (3) spots with water & 30 amp hookups out in the "GATED" Field! Wow, a gated community the real way it was started.
If you need to lift your spirit as we did, then go re-charge your Human & RV batteries here. Beautiful informative "Welcome Letter" was provided to us about the area, syncing our movements within a working farm, and where to go and how to get things RVers need. WOW! I wish every Boondocker Host would do the same type letter to quickly download valuable information from the Host to the Guest and use as a future reference. Loved the fresh DUCK EGGS for breakfast too!! Yes, the ducks have free roam. Free range duckies.
We really appreciated the WIFI connection way out in the field also. Was able to connect to email, internet, and the weather radar when needed. If you want upgraded RURAL time in your RV, you will find it here. If you need to primp and press your designer jeans or shave before going outside to see the baby goats, then maybe stay in the city areas because you must open, move, and close/lock the (2) gates for ingress and egress.
Look forward to returning to Spirit Creek Farm in the summertime to go golfing and cool off in the area's lakes. Our host was a 10 out of 10 and are a loving, caring family. Recommended!
It was so good, we had to come back when we traveled through the area a second time. Again the hosts are great and the land is beautiful. There is plenty of room and we enjoyed meeting other guests as well.
We loved staying at Spirit Creek Farm. The hosts made us feel at home. We are so grateful for their hospitality!
These awesome hosts responded quickly to our request to stay at their cool farm. This was great for us because our travel plans changed due to the weather forecast, and so we ended up being nearby unexpectedly. This was a great place to stop and rest, especially since we weren’t quite sure how the weather would cooperate. Our spot was very private, and it seemed as though we were the only ones there. We were given excellent information about anything that might be needed or wanted in the nearby area. We really loved the animals and felt very welcomed staying at Spirit Creek Farm.
I enjoyed staying there for 2 nights. The host was welcoming and provided a comprehensive list of information. I would definitely recommend this location if you are in the area. Very nice!
Very serene and pretty the hosts were wonderful
They offered to assist us with anything we might need
We have been on the road for about 2 months and this is by far the best place we have spent time
We are sorry that we didn’t have more time here and that we didn’t have the time to explore the area
John and Lacie were the perfect hosts! They were superkind and provided us with goat milk and vegetables and let us and our 2-year old daughter pet their farm animals.
Campsites were spacious and even had a water and electrical hookup!
Thanks John and Lacie for having us. You are good people, god bless.
Great spot! This place had four power hook-up sites. He can fit more he says. However, the power output is only 100 amps. So, if you are three other RVers are trying to run your AC, you may have a brownout. I did not plug-in as I don't have an EMS. I won't risk it. But I really didn't see him after he set us up and then again right before we left. The goats were fun to watch during the day.
Cool spot, thanks for letting me stay!
The hosts were great and made our stay extremely enjoyable. 10/10 would stay here again.
We had the chance to milk a goat and learn about the local culture and people.
Thank you so much for providing a place for us to stay while we visit the area. spiritcreekfarm is a great asset to the community.
The space we borrowed had fresh water and a 30amp outlet. Our verizon phones had 2 bars of 4G reception and the farm wifi helped when our phones were not cooperating.
Very laid back hosts that offer a nice setting with optional water and 30-amp hookups. There is something about being able to see both wild and domestic animals right outside your window that puts a smile on your face.
Spirit Creek was a nice place to pause for the night on our trip from Idaho up to Canada. They have good docking space and we're wonderful, responsive, hosts. Water was available, power if you needed it and even a trash barrel!
J & L and their family were kind, helpful and very generous in their time and home. We are very thankful for their kindness.
My 9 yr old daughter was welcomed to their barn to milk and feed the goats, pet the rabbits and play with their friendly dogs. We were lucky enough to share in their goat milk, duck eggs and garden veggies. It was a healthy and delicious supplement to our meals during the stay.
The lot was fairly level, had 30 Amp outlet and clean water. To drive into the back space behind the barn be sure to keep the gates closed so the dogs do not escape. Park your rig so that you can easily watch the goats and Llama roaming around and play. Be on the lookout for the many wild turkeys roaming the area.
In town we ate at Terry's cafe, the meal was so-so, and we went swimming at Spirit Lake.
There is a free RV dump about 3 miles away in town at B&J RV Park, the dump and water is easily accessible from the street.
J & L - thank you very much and bless your family with your kindness and sharing with us.
A wonderful spot to stay and the host is a wonderful host. The farm is peaceful and and quite. Has wild turkeys goats and even a llama. Hope the stay here again and explore the area better.
John met us at the front of the driveway and guided us in to his large parking area. He has several hookups for water and electricity, and was also hosting a family from Iowa. Really nice and quiet rural spot, we'll keep it in mind for when we head north again. Thanks again!
We only had one night here but it couldn’t have been better! Our host gave us gifts fresh goat milk, duck eggs and squash from the garden. If we hadn’t needed to get back on the road, we would have stayed longer.
Spirit Creek hosts are most generous, we spent 5 nights in this wonderful setting.
Goats, a Llama, rabbits, wild turkeys and the hosts pups were amusing.
I milked their goat and we received raw goat milk for our coffee, fresh eggs and large beautiful squash.
Electric and water are such a plus when out one has been on the road for months.
Thank you so very much for your hospitality and remember the manatees!!
Lovely working farm. I enjoyed my morning coffee listening to the goats and ducks. The host provided a handy guide to local sites and helpful information including the dump site in town. Be sure to fill your water tanks with the artisan well water. The best.
Because of awful weather forecast, we asked if able to stay additional night. No problem, and greatly Appreciated.
See also our review for August 8-9.
Spirit creek farm is a wonderful BW location. Host met us on the highway to guide us in the right entrance.
The set up location is large enough for four RVs, with water and 30 watts of power for each. In addition to the kindness and companionship of the hosts, we also made friends with another Boondocker couple.
We greatly appreciated the efforts of the hosts, as well as a farm tour. We learned that a llama will protect a goat herd from predators. We greatly appreciated the “parting gifts” of goat milk and duck eggs. A wonderful stay on the Idaho panhandle.
Our stay was awesome! In addition to a serene setting and picturesque mountains and sunsets as your back yard, we were gifted with fresh duck eggs and goat milk! Thank you so much for sharing your space to fulltime rvers like us!
Two if the nicest hosts you will find! They welcomed us with fresh goat milk and fresh duck eggs. They even let us try milking the goats! They were full of ideas and recommendations of where to go and what to do. They let us borrow their kayaks to take down to the lake for the day. All of their dogs are friendly and love attention. An absolutely must stay location if you are in the area, as the title says, it was the best!
We were so blessed that we were allowed a second stay while we were in the process of finding a home to buy! We are doing a year full time and fell in love with the area so we needed to stay in the area unexpectedly longer. We are so happy that we were able to make new friends and future neighbors! Such a wonderful, peaceful, homey place to stay!
We stopped here on our route between Washington and Montana. We wanted to check out Coeur d'Alene and this place was about 40 minutes away. It was so nice to have hookups and so generous of the hosts to provide. Being on a farm with the animals was a great experience for our daughter who says she wants to have a farm. The night sky was amazing here.
Unfortunately for us, we are on a tight time schedule and had to leave shortly after waking. The hosts were a complete joy and would love to come back and be able to enjoy the farm. Loved waking up to turkeys, goats and llama right outside our windows!
Second time staying at Spiritcreekfsrm would not hesitate to stay again.
Our family had an unforgettable stay. We only stayed one night because of our plans, but we wish we could have stayed longer. We would absolutely stay again. The family is so kind and informative. They let us pet and milk the goats (and gave us some delicious fresh goats milk!), hold rabbits, pet their dogs and puppies, enjoy their ducks, and explore their beautiful land. With room for 3 RV’s we even got to meet, and the kids got to play with other kids. This will be an unforgettable memory, we are so thankful we got to have.
Just finished a restful 2 night stay at Spirit Creek Farm. Very hospitable, wonderful hosts, and the RV parking has 30-Amp power and water hookups! We were very tired after hiking all over Glacier NP and this was the perfect quiet spot to rest and recover for a few nights, thank you again for hosting us!
Great location on a working ranch in a valley where quiet, peaceful, and nature are the norm. Close to Farragut State Park and many other attractions. Very welcoming family and we got to play with puppies, who doesn't love that? Already looking forward to staying there again.
My wife and I spent this past weekend at Spirit Creek Farm. Where we stayed was easy to access and even had 30amp service and water hooks ups. Our host's hospitality and friendliness were amazing. From bringing us fresh duck eggs and goat's milk to showing us around the farm. I even got to milk a goat, a first for this boy from Long Island. Getting to meet wonderful people like our host is the best part of living the RV life. We hope our travels bring us near Spirit Creek Farm in the future.
Jonathon and Lacie have been excellent hosts during my 5 night stay on their farm. They accommodated me with level ground to park my RV on with full hook-ups. A plus was that there we'll water is the best!!! The day I arrived they welcomed me with Farm fresh duck eggs and a Quart of fresh goat's milk. The following day I asked if I could watch them milk the goats, and I not only watched, they let me give it a try. Throughout the week I had the opportunity to tour their farm and learn more about Their morning and evening routine with their animals. They have ducks, goats, rabbits, and a Llama. Staying there Was really fun and relaxing.
Everything they wrote in their profile was 100% accurate. My 10 year old loved meeting the puppies and baby ducks and goats, and learning how to milk a mama goat! It's peaceful, and beautiful, with great sunsets, and it's easy to go visit all the attractions around here, since it's right off the highway. And, the complimentary goat milk and duck eggs were delicious! They're good folk.
