The spot itself is just a place to park, but location is everything. Located in the “Recreation capital of the world”, and rated one the top 10 Places to visit in the world by New York Times. The area is beautiful with trails with views of mountains, lakes, ocean, with world class rock climbing, whitewater rafting, wind sports, mountain biking. There’s so much to do in the area. Your hosts can direct you to other public boondocking places in the area as well if you want to get a little further into nature. Only one hour from Vancouver and Whistler.

Home Town: Squamish, BC Skills or Expertise to Share: Lots of travel and tourism advice for the area we live and experiences to share of the places we travel. We love adventure and exploring new places.

This was a very convenient spot to spend the night. Tillie and Anthony were very friendly and kind, and even recommended a Chinese restaurant down the street where we had a delicious dinner. We enjoyed hearing and seeing the children playing in the school yard on the other side of the chain link fence. in the evening we drove to the end of the Squamish spit road for beautiful views of the mountains coming down to the water where the Squamish River meets Howe Sound. An otter crossed the road just in front of us!
