Very friendly and helpful. A nice location, we will fire sure be back.
I think Willys place would be great if you planned it as well but for use we requested on our way home from Mount Tremblant. We wanted to avoid the Sunday Toronto traffic and get up fresh and complete our journey home. He answered our request so quickly and was ok that we would be arriving late traffic depending that evening. The space was close to level so needed little in leveling blocks. I was confused that it had electrical on a lot but it does! It was quiet Willy is so nice. We wished we had more time to spend there and to see the Buddhist garden in the community. Definitely we will be back!
Willy welcomed us like friends. We spent good time chatting - he is kind but funny too :D
He made sure we get everything we need and are comfortable.
We are so happy to have met great people like him and his family.
Lots of thanks! And see you again.
We really enjoyed our 5 night stay, willy was awesome and we shared stories.
Everybody in this town was super friendly and we would love to visit this place again.
It was a one minute walk to the little store across the road which was also a beer-lcbo store as well as a icecream shop.
Other Rvers showed up, and we had a great time meeting them as well, and sharing more stories over a few drinks.
Friendly an welcoming , enjoyed our conversation , we would definitely return
Very friendly and helpful host. Located right in the town of Bethany across the street from the general store, and minutes away from hiking trails. Halfway between Port Perry and Peterborough.
Will definitely come back.
A very welcoming host and a pleasant, quiet spot to boondock on his property. Small town charm with nice neighbours. I hope to return next year. Thanks again!
I greatly appreciate my host and his family putting me up and allowing me to stay.
The ability to have electricity during the cool weather with little minimal sun for solar was fantastic.
It is a great little part of Ontario with kilometres and kilometres of nice trails nearby to wander.
Great spot in a nice quiet town!
Thanks again for the hospitality!
We had a lovely overnight at Free Willly's Place in Bethany, Ontario. The town is very small but has everything we needed for our stay. Free Willy's is right across the street from a small store that serves as the grocer and hardware store as well as the liquor store and ice cream shop. A gas station is two blocks away across the street from the towns only diner. Everyone was a local and everyone was as nice as can be. Our host was welcoming and pleasant to talk with. I'd definitely return should our travels ever pass this way again.
Really nice people in a beautiful little town. Nice place as a home base to explore that area around Toronto. The hosts made both my wife and I feel comfortable and welcomed. I hope they come out to my property out east one day. All the best.
