We do a lot of last minute trips in the summer, but feel free to give us a shout and see if we can accommodate you.
Less than 20 minutes to downtown and Temple Square. . 40 minutes to world class skiing. 40 minutes from Park City and Great Salt Lake.
Had a wonderful 2 nights at the host’s location. Very friendly and knowledgeable of the local mountains for skiing. Allowed us to fill up water tanks and also let us use their guest WiFi.
A whistlestop for sure but very comfortable and private spot. We would like to get to know our hosts better. Always next time, and maybe on Cape Cod.
The hosts were great! GPS got us lost, but calling the hosts got us straightened out. My phone gps doesn’t like all the N-S-E-W of salt lake addresses. But the hosts were kind and friendly, and we had a good stay.
MistyDuff is a delightful couple with a great place to park for 2 nights. The parking space is quiet and I got 15 amp hookup and Water. The T-mobile Signal was great as well. The location is convenient and surrounded by your basic needs all within 2 miles or so (7 eleven, Walmart, Home Depot). They were very knowledgeable about the area for activities and things to do and have a great travel story. I will return if I'm in the area again.
This is the most convenient BW location to downtown Salt Lake City &
the very interesting campus of the Mormons & the FamilySearch International Center.
I also recommend the drive to beautiful Parks City where the 2002 WinterOlympics was hosted. But take a jacket if you ride the Ski Lift to the top. Lol!
The Hosts were very helpful & friendly.
And I know that their 30 Amp RV Plug is wired correctly & varified by my RV's EMS.
Yes, if I was in the area again, I would definitely want to return.
What a perfect and warm welcome from our hosts!! I made a scheduling error and we arrived a day early but our gracious hosts were happy to accommodate. We had dinner together, watched football, had great conversation, it was the best. Thank you so much. Hope to see you again!
Our hosts were very cordial and accommodating. GPS lead us through Salt Lake City from I-80 with no problems. We actually hung out with them and shared a pizza together on the night of our arrival. Although this kind of interaction is not always required or offered, we hit it off and they seemed like old friends by the end of our one night stay. They turned out to be a very interesting couple.
The parking area is in a secure area in back of their house and there is ample water nearby and 20 amps if you need it. This was our second stay at MistyDuff and we hope to return.
Had a fantastic time at MistyDuff's! A fun evening with him and his friends, talking about many topics, having a beer and a good time. What makes it harder to use this website is the fact you have to say goodbye later to all those wonderful people you have met, but hopefully till another time in the future. Thanks for having me!
We could not have been more pleased with our very first boondocker stay. Our host was out of town but his house sitters were very congenial and invited us in for a cocktail. It turned out we had a lot in common and had a great visit. Perfect way to wind down after a very long day. Parking for our class B van worked out very well, however we had to have a spotter outside the van to guide us in the driveway without clipping the corner of the roof. Plenty of room though. Larger rigs can park in another driveway which is more spacious. We had 15 amp electricity and water. A very quiet and safe place to stay in Salt Lake City! Highly recommend.
