We live on 1.39 acres with three long term adobe casitas. With enough room for a rig and tow vehicle in the south west part of Albuquerque. Our location is known for its green alfalfa fields and horse land . We have an orchard of fruits trees and a few chickens. We also have a mud adobe outdoor oven used by Native Americans to bake oven bread that could be found on Pueblo’s.
Please have your pets on a leash at all times, and pick up after your pets. No loud music Or excessive noise. Please Leave it better then you found it.

2nd time staying with MiRod. Enjoy talking to our host and a peaceful night stay. Will stay every time we come through, as long he will have us. Thanks you again Bob & Sue
We enjoyed our stay. Our host was very nice and we felt safe and welcomed onsite. There is a picnic table and a firepit ready for use. The area is spacious for our 19feet trailer and it is well lit at night.
The property was awesome! Easy to get into and out of. Very safe as the property is enclosed with a fence. Host was awesome to work with!! Thank you for the awesome stay!!!
Host very polite. He escorted us to our spot and left us to ourselves.
Place is clean, quiet, and safe.
Will stay there again.
MiRod and his family were exremely "nice". They let us stay after a long day on the road. He was gracious and allowed us to come in late and made sure we were comfortable. Their location is quiet, allowing us to get rested for the next day's travel. Thanks for your hospitality. Oh, and I knew I'd like him, being a Lance and a Ford owner. :-)
Very friendly hosts and beautiful space away from the noise
We were in Albuquerque to visit relatives who had no space for our RV. This was the perfect location for us! To top it off, our host was extremely gracious. We hope to have the chance to meet up in our travels.
I pulled in by the trees, leveled and threw out the slide and I was done! It was so relaxing tucked back in that private road. I never met the owner, I don't think, but we spoke on the phone. He guided me into the drive and we never saw each other. During these times of Covid-19 I'm ok with that! Thanks for a lovely, peaceful stay!
Would stay here again if in ABQ. Spent 1 night BD in trailer trailer....easy to find directions easy in and out.
Though I never saw him which was fine with me during this time (we did communicate on the phone), he provided a quiet semi country place to park in the city. He also has at least five beautiful horses!
If you need a place to crash in the Albuquerque area, I highly recommend it.
Super friendly host. Nice, spacious, and flat place(s) to park a rig. My second time there, and I'll be back when I cruise thru ABQ again.
We were very thankful during these difficult times he decided to host us. We will definitely stay again.
despite the Covid 19 he kindly received us
On his property.
Thanks si much.
Really nice people. Level, clean, places around to walk a dog. I would definitely stay here again!
ABQ retreat was very Relaxing, and our Host was welcoming and friendly. Hosts directions were easy, We arrived just in time to see a beautiful sunset through cherry blossoms. Wish we could visit more, thank you for a great stay.
We were only there for a night, but our stay was great! It was quiet and peaceful in a rural part in New Mexico. We had some of the best mexican there in town and really enjoyed our stay! Thanks for letting us stop in!
Wish we had more time to stay. He made us feel very welcome, wish we had more time to talk to him, if come back thru, would love to stay again. Thanks again
Great little getaway. Walking distance to a small gas station Mart, but away from the busyness. Host was very kind, he greeted us and we chatted for a few minutes. We were so grateful to park for 2 days to escape the bad weather rolling in. Thank you! :)
Special thanks to Milton for hosting me for two days in his yard. The lot was very comfortable, with room for my dog, which I kept on leash. Thank you very much.
Great night’s sleep in a nice spot! Sorry we had to leave before we met the pets!
A nice spacious place with level gravel areas to park for the night. Very nice and friendly host. I'll stay here again when I pass thru ABQ.
Our hosts were so very gracious and kind!
We were having some issues with our camper and they were prompt in responding to and accepting our late and last minute request.
In addition to several other generous sharing, our hosts went above and beyond to make us feel at home. They shared some home cooked healthy food for our dog (who had a seizure) and allowed us to extend our stay a couple of days while we waited for some camper batteries to be delivered.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at their ranch with the pups, chickens, piggy, and neighbor’s horses. It was a refreshing break to get outside of the busy activity of the city to a more country kind of setting. We have a pop up camper and could hear some noise from the nearby road, nothing major and we felt completely safe and enjoyed great sleep.
Best of all we made some wonderful friends for life.
Thank you so very much for being such amazing hosts! We appreciate you and wish you all the best in life. We hope to see you again one day! 💖💖
We needed a place to sleep pretty late in the day yesterday. We decided to try our luck and this host was more than accommodating to us! We pulled in late and left early this am! Highly recommend this host! Thank you so much!
They were very welcoming and we had everything we needed. Gave us suggestions about the balloon festival and even offered a longer stay when we thought we missed what we wanted to see. We’d recommend the stay to anyone.
Thank you for providing such a welcoming stop on our way through Albuquerque. The location was so convenient - to the highway, Walmart, and a dump down the road, even a propane fill station on the corner. You are a very gracious host. Sorry we didn't get to thank you in person before we left in the morning.
Lee loved the chickens!
Great location and great host. Our host was very friendly. welcoming and helpful about things like getting propane, locating a credit union, etc. His place is easy to get to from anywhere in the city. FYI: the free RV dump is at the Speedway at Coors and Central.
We arrived much later than anticipated, so unfortunately did not get to visit, or meet the pig. Directions were easy to follow. Lots of parking space , easy to turn around. Thanks for the hospitality!
Milton is so hospitable and a genuine, nice person. He met us with cold waters to enjoy on a HOT New Mexico day! His animals (especially llena, his pig) are super sweet. His property is in a great location, next to a little horse farm, convenient to route 40 and Albuquerque. He has a big gravel loop to turn around, and a bunch of peach and apple trees surrounding the property!! Milton was overall very easygoing and easy to talk to. I would love to stay here again next time I’m near Albuquerque! I can’t say enough positive things about Milton and his place! Thank you again for having us!!
(Also, there is a free dump station at the speedway gas station 10 mins north from Milton’s house on Coors road!)
