Spent two nights with rusty dog. It was a rainy day and we had work to do so we enjoyed the peace of the surrounding forests. Super welcoming and cool area of the country. Thank you!!!
Rustydog was very accomodating and helpful.
Nice walking area on property for dogs.
Would recommend to anyone!
Thanks for everything Rustydog.
We had a lovely 2nd stay of the summer. Rusty is a gracious host and we had a great restful evening on our way to the White Mountains. Thank you Rusty for the invite to return next season. We will be sure to return!
We really enjoyed our firepit discussion with our host. He's really knowledgable about all kinds of stuff from a wealth of life experiences. The location was fantastic -- nice and quiet in a beautiful area near lots of things to do. Our host led us right to his home and offered lots of suggestions for things to do and places to eat, etc. We're already looking forward to our next visit -- heck, we may even check in on our way home this time! ;)
Had a great time. Nice campfire, and beaver pond. Tranquil and relaxing. Even slept in. Can't wait to come back. THANKS
Thanks for my first experience with Boondockers Welcome. Enjoyed my stay! Really enjoyed our conversation about truck campers.
We spent two lovely nights with RustyDog. Our hosts were very gracious and Rusty was a wealth of local information. The location is close to lots of biking and hiking and the lake.
We were extremely happy with our stay, the site was easily accessed, flat and private.
We look forward to staying again, hopefully later this year!
Thank You for a wonderful relaxing break !
This host was excellent. He went out of his way to help us navigate the area and was very patient with our little girl who can be a chatterbox lol. Unfortunately we had an issue with our teenage son testing our limits during our stay and we decided to leave early so as not to disturb our hosts any further. We would have loved to stay longer as the location and host were great.
This was our very first boondocking experience and we couldn't have picked a better place! Super relaxing property with plenty of space, a firepit, a pond and beautiful views. Rusty was incredibly hospitable and was fun to talk to by the fire. We met up with our friends here and he was very accommodating to all of us... even our dogs. Sad we didn't stay two nights!
Man, I can't say enough about our stay here at the Rusty Dog Property! So beautiful, the thick pine forests, the birds, the area, just absolutely stunning. Tuftonboro is really truly a gem. Rusty was beyond hospitable and his generosity is something that we will always remember. Our second ever Boondockers Welcome and it sure did not disappoint. Rusty gave us some great tips and advice since we're first timers, and we Jammed out to the tunes the whole ride home! If you guys are ever down this way please reach out! <3
We had a nice visit with our hosts. They had suggestions on things to do in their area. We hiked up Mt Roberts in the Castle in the Clouds conservation area. Very helpful in suggesting a few parking options on the property. Their place is very quiet surrounded by forest.
We would stay again.
RustyDog greeted us a block from the property to make sure we arrived directly. That was the beginning of help, generosity and connection. At the same time, we had privacy in a lovely wooded spot. We went kayaking on the lake which was about 3 miles from the house. RustyDog got us right to the town beach for our launch. This was a great stay. We wish we could’ve stayed longer!
Very quiet and spacious. Would love to come back when we are in the area. Rusty was very welcoming. Thanks for having us.
We very much enjoyed our stay and campfire with our host. The spot is level, well kept, safe, quiet, you couldn’t ask for much more. We would recommend to anyone visiting this area to stay here.
Rusty’s place was amazing. It is a quiet location but close to town and the lake. Just what we were looking for. Rusty was very accommodating and even met us on Friday night to ensure we found his place ok. We enjoyed some conversation and campfire on Friday and explored the lake area on Saturday. Our pup loved staying here as there are walking trails and plenty of room for the dog to run. Looking forward to staying here again.
Rusty was a host. He has a wealth of knowledge about the area, boating and vehicles. He directed towards Lake Wentworth instead of Lake Winnie. He was spot on! He also explained how to check to see if your bearings needed to be repacked.
The property was wooded, quiet and included a beaver pond where we got to watch a beaver have his dinner.
Thanks for a wonderful stay Rusty!
Rusty meet us and showed us where to park our rig and cars. Had interesting chat with him about various things. Great property, big enough for any size rig, we are 40 ft 4 slides with tow and extra car-plenty of room.
Unusually warm weather, he told us to run our generator anytime day and night it wouldn't bother them. We like cool air conditioning, usually keep it at 68-69 for sleeping.
I would recommend this to anyone wanting to be in this part of New Hampshire-lots to do and see.
As the weather was so good and the rain was to hold off till late Monday we decided to head for Michigan-hope to catch you again Rusty and thanks for everything.
Rusty was so great! He came down to meet us so we wouldn't have a problem finding the property and gave us a bunch of local information. He was especially great with the kids, hanging out with them and letting them "help" him around his property. We throughly enjoyed our stay and hope our paths cross again someday.
No "rust" at this gem of a spot. A big thanks to our host Rustydog for giving us beta around this quiet and peacfull place with so much to do. We only wish we had a few more days to take in all the attractions. Happy rv'ing Rusty!
Great hosts. Beautiful property with tall trees. Just a wonderful place to be. Centrally located for everything we wanted to do.
Enjoyed our stay with RustyDog. Very interesting conversations and fun dogs. Followed his restaurant suggestion and the place was great. Thanks for the help with an adjustment to my truck tonneau cover.
Beautiful area of New Hampshire.
A beautiful property in a beautiful location. Our hosts were so kind and accommodating. Will most definitely be back!!
Rusty Dog and his lovely wife were so friendly and generous. Their two pups are great too. Rusty Dog went out of his way several times to make us more comfortable. We really did feel at home with them. We would definitely go back again.
Our 36 ft camper fit great with room to spare. Surrounded by woods on a quiet street. It was lovely. Thank you so very much Rusty Dog for sharing your special spot.
Can’t express our gratitude for good people in this world who are willing to offer their property for a quiet place for weary travelers to get off the beaten path and have a good quiet nights rest. Rusty dog went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed. Met us out on the Main road so we can follow him back. Was sincerely concerned about our well being.
We have met so many great rvers in our short time with boondockers welcome. We are pleased to add RustyDog to that list. We were his first guest . He took us under his wing and made us feel like part of his family. Initially, we had mechanical difficulty and had to delay. RustyDog had great communication and encouraged us make it to his site, whenever we could. The location is beautiful back in the New Hampshire Hills, so quiet and Serene. He showed us around the resort area of town as well as sites around the Lakes. I highly recommend this boondocking location and hope that he and Priscilla can visit us in Kansas one day
