Basic rules: don't leave trash, etc.
We are low key and will greet you once and then mostly leave you to your peace! We have 2 large (and one small) house dogs that will be occasionally in the yard. Our white dog demonstrates her stranger fear with feigned toughness and barking.
Hill and curve coming out of driveway. Road is busier than one would think considering the rural location. The highway to get to our road is a steep 2 mile climb up a mountain with one tight curve at the top. Start of the climb is about 600 feet elevation and top is at 1700 feet of elevation.
Gravel driveway and grass parking space.
We do lots of last minutes trips so I can't always keep the calendar up to date, so just ask.

Our second experience as guests! Host was very helpful getting us backed into the spot we wanted and with recommendations for places to visit/eat. Like host identifies in profile, road is well traveled but is quiet at night. The curve/no shoulder coming up the elevation to their road is not bad, very doable. It was great to be able to catch sunrise and sunset on their property,I got some great pics of both!
The host came right out to help us park, and offered 15A and water hookup.
The view from the property is amazing. We visited Ruby Falls, the Incline Railway and Rock City nearby.
The spot was as described. Our host was very friendly and we had a nice chat. View was really good. We would definitely ask to stay here again.
Nm2653 have a wonderful view of a lake below. Do know that our 40' pusher with a toad was about all the road leading up can handle and I fancy myself as a decent pilot. Thanks for your hospitality! Too bad it was raining and we couldn't get to chat some. Thanks again
This south Pitsburg site has some spectacular views. To the west is Alabama and to the East Georgia. With beautiful colored leaves in both valleys. Felt very safe and comfortable there once we got set up. Getting there a little nerve racking for us though. The last 2 miles up the mountain were at a 6 or 8 percent grade. My truck's transmission over heated about half way up. We found the only place to pull over and let it cool for 30 minutes. There is also a hair pin curve on the mountain. I wouldn't want to attempt it after sunset for sure.
But we eventually made it and chalked up another adventure.
Our host was so very gracious and helpful. A very kind person.
We enjoyed our stay here. The perfect stop on our route. We came in at night so we were surprised with the scenic view in the morning. The host was very friendly!
It was a quick stop'n'go. But the area we parked was nice and flat making it easy to level our rig, and the grassy yard and trees for shade, made for a great place to pull out the lawn chairs and relax after driving all day. Our hosts were very friendly!
Thank you for welcoming us to your yard!
My husband, daughter, dog, and I stayed on the property of N and J. Pre-stay, the hosts sent us a short video clip of options to mark making it easy to navigate their driveway for a best choice for our truck camper. They were more than hospitable, and welcomed us gladly. We shared some short stories and was gifted some delicious homemade peach jelly. The site was 40 minutes to downtown Chattanooga, and so many hiking trails nearby. Amazing and adventurous hikes. Are stay was so much more than positive, and if we are ever in the surrounding area again, it would be such a great stay.
The steep hill going up to this location is doable with most any rig, and the view is worth it. This host gave us plenty of recommendations for food, and hiking/ biking locations. Can't wait to see then again!
Nm2653 was very responsive, a good communicator, caring about our stay. Flexible and anxious to help. A pretty place to park. Quiet. The local grocery was even better stocked than most places during the corona virus hoarder spree. A recommended host! Thank you.
Nikki is very welcoming and responsive, overall a great stay and location. We parked in the front of the house , it was easy to make it level. It’s pretty quiet and a very rural location at the top of a mountain. Nikki sent us awesome videos in SMS to show the options for parking so we were very confident in how and where to park.
There is a Loves truck stop 8 miles away that you can dump tanks.
For a tourist activity I recommend visiting the underground Ruby Falls in Chattanooga.
This is a good spot. We got in after sunset due to weather delays. Nikki called to be sure that we understood the directions. She also met us when we arrived.
Nikki, the host, Was very communicative. They had some snow during the morning and she conveyed all of the weather and potential issues for me throughout the day. She was wonderful. Nice day. Thank you.
We only had a quick stopover on our way from Atlanta to Chattanooga, but the location was lovely and our hosts were grand. They even kindly let us hook up with electric and let us fill our water a bit. Thank you guys for a great stop!
When we arrived host wasn't there but she gave us great instructions and a video on where to park and it was a pretty level spot and there was another boondockers welcome guest that arrive the same night is us we had a nice chat with the host and our neighbor and it was a wonderful stay and the host was very kind and accommodating.
Thank You
This was a perfect BW host. She sent very detailed instructions (including video!) on where to park. I arrived and parked my small travel trailer easily. I had a gorgeous view of sunrise out my window! There's a state forest nearby with some really good walk/hikes. My host was super hospitable and interesting; I hope we cross paths on ours travels one day.
My husband and I stayed at this hosts location for one night only, but could have stayed longer as it was so beautiful and convenient to Chattanooga and Ruby Falls. The parking spot for our RV couldn't have been more perfect and our host was incredibly gracious by offering us electric hookup and water from her spigot. I hope that we will stay in touch and maybe meet up someday on the road!
I arrived a bit later than expected. The host meet me outside and we chatted a bit and she made sure I had everything I needed for the evening. Since it was just a quick over night, I left early the next morning while she was working. A quick text goodbye and off I went. I would drop in here again!!
What a beautiful and peaceful place. We felt like at home and our guests were very welcoming with us and with the little ones. They showed them the cows and the plants .. my kids felt like at grandma house :)
