We felt very welcome at this spot. Our host was great. Her dogs were so sweet and played with our pug. He loved it! Very comfy stay. Will be back for sure.
We enjoyed our stay. We got to know Bear, a big sweet teddy bear of a dog. We enjoyed chatting with Ms Kitty about solar, composting and gardening. The farm is inside of two gates, and with Bear as the guard dog, trust me, you will feel snug and safe! Check out the little town of West Milton. Very cute classic Midwestern town.
Our five days at Evan's Prairie, hosted by Mskitty were lovely. Even the strangeness and dangers of the world which made us humans cautious didn't bother the ducks and chickens and turkey or the majestic dog Bear at all. Mskitty herself has a gracious and peaceful spirit, and our quiet five days in her lovingly cultivated haven were restful and alive. Distancing prevented conversations but the atmosphere and attitude said plenty. It built up a sense of faith in each other. We are grateful for the hours of conversation and thoughts the two of us and our dogs had, next to the content and busy birds.
We really enjoyed our two nights at Mskitty’s farm! This was our first time boondocking in our first camper...and they were extremely helpful with all our questions. We even shared dinner together!!
Ms. Kitty was wonderful hostess. Easy in and out with 50 amp available (which we needed for medical purposes). Sent us off with a dozen fresh eggs and beautiful tomatoes from her garden. Would recommend her “farm” for anyone passing this way!
The hosts were very nice and even gave us a dozen fresh eggs when we got there. The parking for our rig was perfect and had both 50 and 30 amp hookup. We would definitely recommended staying here. They had a beautiful big dog who greeted us and our children.
Host went out of her way to help us feel at home. Would stay here again.
2 very friendly loose dogs on property.
Ms Kitty was such a pleasure to meet-along with her other housemates and wonderful farm dogs! We were offered electricity, and filled our water tank-and treated to a dozen farm fresh eggs!
Wonderful experience for our very first Boondockers stay.
Ms Kitty was a wonderful host. We didn’t spend a lot of time visiting because of Covid-19. We stayed in the barnyard with her dog, Bear, and a couple of dozen free roaming chickens. Her gardens are full of flowers and vegetables. She gave us a dozen fresh eggs for our breakfast and the next morning we departed her little paradise.
Very nice stay! Host very gracious and even gave us a dozen fresh eggs from her chickens. Level spot, good hook ups, friendly dog!
Highly recommend!
Ms. Kitty Welcomed us to her quiet little bit of paradise! We were greeted by bear the great Pyrenees and her colorful flock of chickens! She was a very accommodating host and she shared stories of her camping past. We really appreciated camping on her farm out in the country and greatly appreciated the fresh eggs that she sent with us as we made our way!
Miss. Kitty was so wonderful! This was our first BW stay and it was such a great experience. The kids had fun playing in the snow, we were invited to a few outings, and she invited us to stay a few extra days. We will stay here again when we come next year.
We stayed overnight at Mskitty's. She was very accommodating. Her place must be very charming during the summer. It's very clean & organized. We enjoyed seeing free-range chickens & meeting her beautiful dog Bear. Highly recommend it!
Had a very nice stay at Mskitty's place. She welcomed us in during the heavy rain that went through eastern North America the last few days with some fresh eggs from her own chickens. What a delight! Soft boiled eggs for breakfast! Her place has lots of room to run around with our Tundra and 27 foot trailer. Her place is very private and well off the roadway. Thanks a lot for hosting us!
We really enjoyed this rest stop on the way home.
Quiet spot and host was very friendly.
We recommend this site and host.
Ms. Kitty is a wonderful host with a lovely spot in the country. It was very quiet and peaceful. She had 30 amp electricity available, which allowed us to stay cool and comfortable. We very much enjoyed meeting Ms. Kitty, her playful Pyrenees, Bear, and the girls-her chickens :) If you’re staying in the Dayton area definitely stop here for a visit.
Ms. Kitty was very accommodating, not only did she take us to a dump, we had water and electric hookups. She’s a busy lady and gave us instructions on locking the gate and leashing her dog. Kitty was very generous in letting us in her studio and providing jewelry supplies. Our dog was allowed to be off leash and had a wonderful time with her dog. Great quiet place with no mosquitos.
We had to cancel at the last minute in order to obtain a walk-in site at our next location. We have stayed in the past. The access is great and the site is level.
We had a relaxing 3 nights with this delightful, very busy lady. Kitty couldn’t do enough for us to make sure we enjoyed our stay. It was very hot and humid and we were so thankful for the electric hookup. She had a very busy schedule of appointments for her partners Parkinson’s so she wasn’t there sometimes but the time I was able to spend with her was very enjoyable. Bear is a Great Pyrenees and is very protective of everything he is in charge of. He does an excellent job!
Warm and welcoming people. Grateful to have the spot for the night. We loved the chickens running around! Thank you!
The location was great and the site was level. The Host was personable and friendly. We were also invited to participate in a game of Euchre, which we had never played before. Bear, the dog is actually a big teddy bear. We had a great time!
