So welcome to our hilltop spread. What was intended for RV service and storage area now becomes your new home for a few days.....We have two to three spots in a leave/Grass/weed area, Storage covered area and somewhat of a carport structure. All have access to water and 15/20 amp power however you may need an extension cord depending on where you decide to part. Please no high demand use on the power (AC, Electric heaters) while it is a 20 amp service. Just treat it as a 15 to 20 amp service please the circuit shares with my shop and home also. Power has a funny way of adding up in amps on ya. You are more than welcome to use a inverter style generator to handle the AC needs, and if the humidity is up, you'll want it!. For donations, we ask you to donate to one of the following veteran charities. (PVA, VFW, Tunnels to Towers) There is a donation box at the site. $5 per night is requested but flexible up to you and your family's budget. However there are NO donations requested to our charities if no hookups are used. There is a good spot to park and walk up to check the spots out before you decide where you can and want to stay. ( I use the pole barn area allot). A few curves and hills to negotiate to get to a setup spot. If you know how to drive your rig pretty well, it should not be a problem. We have a young boy and two great dogs. Bring the kids, they're welcome to wear mine out. I'm pretty good at fixing about anything and if home, willing to help out. I work every third day as a fireman so some days are limited. I simply have to meet you before I'll let ya hang out overnight. Everything you need is within two to 3 miles. Internet is limited but can be used for low volume use, too slow for streaming for yall and us at the same time.
Common sense with a handshake. Just no loud generators please (inverter generators okay) Other than that, treat my home, wife, child, and dog with respect and were all good. Come on with your version of a family and meet ours. God bless
NOTE: please no electric heaters or AC's on the power service provided.
ALSO. All arrivals after dark please. Call me for alternative came spots if you get in a pickle and it gets dark on ya.
Good paved backroad, Located directly of the road with a driveway that is gravel with an upward incline. 4WD is HIGHLY recommended if you have you're pulling ANYTHING. If your a longer Class A or C you may have to back in depending on your length. Basically, the longer you are the more technical it is.
Plenty of areas around
Outlet mall for shopping
Race-car hall of fame
Amicalola Falls and state park.
Lake Lanier beaches, Lake park down the road
Atlanta is 30 to 45 minutes away down GA 400
Host was super friendly and very accomodating! We had a great stay and hope to come back some day!
We had a great experience and our hosts even invited us to a bbq on our last night in town! The drive in is a bit tricky with the hill but nothing 4 wheel drive cant handle and the parking spot was pretty level so that was nice! We had good phone service here (Sprint). Our dog was happy to run around the property as was our son who made quick friends here :) 10/10 would recommend staying! Also check out the Amicalola Fall park about 35 minutes away (worth every bit of the drive and you dont have to hike far to get to the view)!!
Beautiful quiet scenery in the woods and very kind hosts. This was my second time I've been there and enjoyed it very much. Would recommend this place to everyone. The hosts were so kind to let me stay when it was directly after the hurricane.
Great spot. Great host. Absolutely beautiful area of GA. Highly recommend E4Vs location. Easy in, easy out with 37.5 footer.
So helpful... I travel for arts and craft shows and can sometimes stay on the festival sites, so the night before set up I stayed with Just Passin Thru and had been given permission to come back if I wasn’t able or didn’t feel safe at Festival grounds... Really enjoyed being in the trees and listing to nature as I went to sleep... Thank you so much for a safe place to stay...
We had a great stay and first time that we got to stay under cover. Very nice hosts. Wished we could have stayed longer.
This spot was just what we needed for three days in the dawsonville area. Our hosts were wonderful.
Very nice hosts and quiet and secluded wooded spot. They had an awning to park my camper under so I was out of the rain. Great people and location.
This was our first Boondockers Welcome experience and what an excellent first impression. Host was super friendly and had a great shaded area to park nearly any size rig. Wonderful and highly recommend this host. convenient pull through parking.
The Echo4victor family were very gracious hosts. We covered a variety of subjects of conversation and had much in common. We exchanged stories of our summers’ travels. I recommend this spot for any Boondockers “Just Passin’ Thru” North Georgia!
What a lovely family and host with the perfect RV. Setup. The nicest people. Have fun on your upcoming trip....thanks Casey
We had a most enjoyable experience staying at Just Passin Through. Echo4Victor and his wife are incredibly gracious hosts. They have a gorgeous property with a great place to park a camper that provided an amazing view of the wooded valley behind their house. Our kids thoroughly loved this place and hated to leave.
The hosts were super accommodating and communicated well with us to make sure our stay was great.
Our kids enjoyed playing with their son and had a great time
Great area and great hosts
Echo4victor was extremely inviting and showed our family a great deal of hospitality during our visit. Our kids played together and had a wonderful time. This being our first stay on BW, we are excited to meet other hosts who are just as welcoming.
This Family was very welcoming and Kind! I had a wonderful stay. Very Nice property. I enjoyed my stay and recommend anyone passing thru to stay here
Thank you so much again!
We had a pleasant stay here. Wonderful hosts and our kids had a blast playing with their son. We had a lot of rain while we were there and the ground stayed solid the entire time. They are very close to town which is a big plus! Enjoyed dinner with them our last night there. Would definitely recommend this stop.
We enjoyed a three-nite stay here in a well-set up and equipped site in the woods. We saw a large, colorful spider as well as a red fox. Our host and his son were enjoyable and helpful. Propane can be filled 2 miles from this site.
These folks made us feel like family. Met us on the way in to guide us into the spot, which was shady and private. We were invited into their lovely home to share a meal and some great conversation. On the morning we left, another great conversation and hugs instead of handshakes. Thank you for the great visit
