My bride and I travel throughout the USA, Canada & Yukon - Lance truck camper Details: I'm a retired industrial sales engineer with a Ham radio hobby-VE3DX. QRZ.com for more info Carol and I enjoy remote campsites and off the road places to enjoy the peace and quiet. Walmart welcomes us, and we often enjoy the comradary of their RV gatherings in the evening. Carol is a retired nurse. We enjoy card games as dominoes, mahjongg, sequence etc etc.or we sit around and chat with other RV'ers with a suitable libation!!! Home Town: Orillia, Ontario, Canada which is about 1 1/2 hours north of Toronto. Our home is in Atherly where Lake Simcoe meets Lake Couchiching just off Highway 12, close to the Rama Casino. Favorite Boondocking Locations: Next one will be the first one!!! Skills or Expertise to Share: Typical mechanical and electrical expertise as a result of modifying cars and boats and an electrical hobby of Ham Radio for some 51 years. I restore the old Mercury outboard motors that I once raced in APBA and CBF.. The "Green Tank" and Mark-20 series of motors find a new home here!! As a member of AOMCI and the Vintage Inboard Racers I've had many boating rewards!! Carol, as a retired nurse, finds great discussions about our health issues!! We have few!

Wain and Carol were very welcoming and really nice people = their site is perfectly level and are really close to the lake - great walks I had around the neighbourhood

Our stay request is still awaiting a response after a week! We would have liked to at least have an answer in order to plan our trip.

Good location for visiting various sightseeing opportunities around Orillia. Was easy to find, Wain & Carol had lots of stories to tell about their travels.

Wain and Carol were very welcoming and we wish to thank them for accommodating us even though they were going to be away. We attended the Mariposa Folk Festival nearby and their place was very convenient. They have a busy life and eshausted us just watching them come and go. We wish to thank them both very much for the stay.
