This location is the parking and drive areas for the nursery and garden center we use to run (too much work getting in the way of our travels, so we closed it). Our home sits on the property and we would love to visit if we are around. Access to the property is convenient to Highway 75 (N & S) and I-70 (E & W). Some shade depending on where you park. Spots are fairly level, gravel or grass growing through gravel, most locations not an issue when it rains. We overlook a fair sized lake. Suggested Local Attractions:Kansas State Capitol Building, Kansas Museum of History, Kansas Children's Discovery Center, Combat Air Museum, Evil Knievel Museum, Brown v. Board of Education National Historic Site, Lake Shawnee, Gage Park, Ted Ensley Gardens, Historic Ward Meade Park, World Famous Topeka Zoo. 10 minute drive to a plethora of dinning and shopping choices.

Our host Tom was very welcoming and nice, great spot. We were able to take our dogs down to play in the lake behind their house and they loved it! Definitely a great place to stop if uou are going through Topeka.

Even with very cold weather, our host came to great us and helped get us set up. We didn't get a chance to really chat much and left early, but it was a lovely and quiet place to park for the night. Thank you again!

Communications with Host was good. Easy access to property. Told us about local attractions. Tom assisted me small project. Wife and I treated Tom and Bobbi to dinner of Gumbo and Potato Salad. Awesome experience. Rate as #1 Place to visit.

It’s a good place to juice up your vehicle, both electric and water. Had a nice chat with Tom, one of the hosts. It’s just a driveway in front of the house.
