We can accommodate back-in RVs up to a 35’ with left slide outs under 25”, no restrictions on right slide outs. Standard 50A connection (see pictures), water, and standard sewer connection. There is 11' clearance between open RV gates.
We are located 20 miles S of Pyramid Lake, 45 miles NE of Lake Tahoe, 35 miles NW of Virginia City or Carson City. We live in a quiet neighborhood. One of our neighbors have chickens (that don’t crow in the morning but cluck a bunch during the day), horses & goats are down the street. We are close to grocery shopping (1.5 mi), Walmart, Home Depot, Costco (5 mi), Reno casinos and airport (12 mi).
We aren’t smokers, so if you smoke, please be considerate where your smoke goes (pick up your butts). Your pets are welcome off the leash if they are behaved (no digging, barking at neighbors, etc). We and all of our neighbors have dogs (some better behaved than others), we just don’t want to be bad neighbors ourselves. We love kids, and hope they feel free to play in the yard. If you Bar be Que, please be considerate of where the smoke goes.
Note: the RV pad is right next to the master bedroom windows, which isn't a privacy issue as much as noise and smoke after hours issue if we're trying to sleep. Common courteousy does nicely.
This is a residential neighborhood, with a large cul de sac turn around which you can make with your tow dolly attached if needed. The street to RV entrance gates requires climbing an 8” curb (I have 4x4s to help transition if needed). This is back in only with a normal width street, where other cars are often parked along the street. Our daughter hasn’t had any trouble with her 32’ diesel pusher.
There is safe on and off street parking depending on size of tow vehicle. We currently have an extra vehicle in the off street parking as of this update, although we're flexible on what gets parked where. There is also room for the tow dolly behind the RV inside the gate.
Andelin Family Farm is across Pyramid Highway (1.3 mi), a popular place for kids to interact with farm animals.
If it wasn't enough that this site is just beautiful and peaceful, they also have full hookups! I feel like I should have to pay to stay here, but its free. :) Bob's Babbling Brook is truly an oasis in the desert. The hosts just couldn't be any nicer. Very pleasant experience!!! Just a suggestion - Bob's wife loves red wine.
