Our host was very inviting and friendly. She met us when we pulled in and allowed us to use an extension cord for free and wouldn’t accept any money but asked that we pay it forward. She had tons of helpful ideas and local knowledge. The location was conveniently located near the interstate. We highly recommend Playing With The Antelopes.
Beautiful spot, so quiet all I heard was nature! Amazing overnight, would love to spend a week or more there.
Plenty of space, easy to maneuver the rig, great views. We were welcomed immediately as we pulled in and guided us into a perfectly level spot to set up. We were greeted in the morning as we were preparing to pull out and were allowed to release our two Border Collies long enough to run off some of their energy before another long day on the road. Great hosts, would definitely request to stay again if ever in their area.
A nice quiet and level spot with friendly hosts made for a relaxing overnight. We appreciated the hookups as well!
Gorgeous property to watch the sunset and rise from. Very welcoming and accommodating. Wish we had more time to chat up our hosts they were such a nice couple. We just had a quick layover, caspers a great stop btw mt. rushmore and the tetons to fuel up on cheap propane and do all your errands in one spot.
What a pleasure to meet thetiltons. From the moment we arrived we were treated like family. We had a wonderful evening sharing stories and discovering common interest. They have a beautiful location and we would love to visit again. The best!!!
The host welcomed me as I arrived and helped me get parked in the best area. It was a quick overnight but would love to stay again in the future. The views are great!
Gracious hospitality. Easy in, easy out. Quiet rural setting. Great hosts. Excellent place to stop.
Great place to spend an overnight, or a day. Good paved roads and plenty of room to park. We loved the views!
We had another great stay at their location. We enjoyed the events going on in town, and of course, their beautiful view of the mountains!
The hosts were friendly and accommodating. The directions to their location were spot on.
We would definitely recommend and look forward to possibly staying with these fine folks again.
Very nice hosts, parking for our 35ft 5th wheel and truck is great. Its a quiet area off the road.
This is a great location! I can’t recall the last time I was in a place that was so utterly quiet at night. It sure made for a great night’s sleep! The hosts greeted us upon arrival, helped guide us into our spot, and we chatted for a few minutes before spending a relaxing evening resting up for our drive the following day.
We had a wonderful stay at this spot! We enjoyed visiting our host, who went out of her way to make sure we were comfortable and had had everything we needed. They have a great property out in the beautiful Wyoming countryside. We visited a couple of local attractions and really enjoyed our stay. Thank you so much for your hospitality.
This is the 2nd time we've overnighted here, this time was very rainy & wet but still so peaceful & beautiful. Deer right outside our trailer & plenty of bird song. Power was right next to the trailer & we parked in the driveway with plenty of room. Was an excellent location for a stopover, very easy to get to.
We had a quiet, safe stay in the country with open fields — and antelope—across the driveway. We shared travel stories with our host. We thought we might need electricity to offset a heat wave, but instead we evidently witnessed the most rain the have had in quite a whole! It was a wonderful stay; we will definitely come back if we are nearby!
Thanks so much!
Perfect stop over headed to Montana. LT was great with communication, met us in the driveway, got us all set up, including 20 amp service. Once we got set up, we asked her to join us for a cocktail and had some great conversation. Then we watched a gorgeous sunset and had a great, quiet night sleep. Thank you so much “Where the Antelope Play”.
Nice and peaceful. Very amenable and informative. Gracious host.
Easy in and out, quiet, and friendly people. Appreciated the stay & the extension cord + 20 amp power for our a/c. Lots of room and a good view.
This was our first experience with Harvest Host and we were not disappointed. Our hosts were welcoming, and the spot was quite and peaceful.
I really enjoyed my stay here. Such lovely people and the fact that it's in a quiet farming area yet so close to town is great. I loved hearing the cows on our morning walk, tons of Moo's going on! Lol It was really cute. And the sunsets are beautiful. I had great cell service with both my Verizon and AT&T if you're one who works remotely too, it's good to know. I would recommend both this host and location.
We had a lovely safe nights sleep, with an amazing view from the camping spot.
Very nice quiet place out in the country but pave roads all the way to the site. We really enjoyed sitting out in the evenings watching the sunset and they were gorgeous by the way and listening to the birds. Enjoyed a nice chat with our host as well. We were very appreciative of the electrical hook up as well since it was over 90° while we were there. We would definitely ask for a return visit if you’re in the area.
Beautiful property with pronghorn everywhere. It is peaceful and quiet and there is so much to do in Casper. Our host was amazing! She made us feel at home and even supplied us with a bag of local attractions and things to do. Access to/on the property is perfect! Even our 40' Class A pulling a Jeep had plenty of space to maneuver. We had a bunny adopt us while we were there. Found out when we went to leave that she had been digging a burrow underneath the motorhome. Felt bad for removing her shade and cover. Great stay! Would return in a heartbeat!
Great restful place with great view of the casper mountain. Very acomodating, close to town. Thank You!
This was our first Boondockers Welcome stay, and it occurred on day 55 of our new RVing life, so we didn't know what to expect. What we found was perfectly welcoming hosts, a lovely, easy access, site and plenty of peace and quiet. Thanks you, Boondockers Welcome, and Where the Antelope Play, for making this such an awesome experience.
We were having problems with the weather and so appreciated their help in determining how to keep going on our trip. The flexibility and help was great. Thanks for everything!
My husband and I stayed here and we had such a nice time! Our plans got rearranged a bit, and the hosts were very accommodating and friendly about it. We absolutely love the area and the view is gorgeous!
We highly recommend this place for a stop along your route. It is quiet and peaceful. Unfortunately we did not have time to spend in Casper but as La Cinda said, there’s always next time. We would definitely return when we pass through again. And we did have the opportunity to see the antelope.
Host met us out front, showed us where to park. Concrete pad was perfect for our 30' class A. 20 amp was all we needed. Amazing views of the snow capped mountains. Deer in the morning. Quiet peaceful nights. Host provided a bag of information about the area that was so helpful. Easy access to all things Casper. Pro tip: check out Bridle Trail to Split Rock loop at Rotary Park. Best hike. Host was kind enough to let us have a package delivered which was amazingly helpful for us full-time RVrs. We hope to cross their way again. Such genuine and nice folks.
We received a warm welcome when we arrived and our host ensured we had everything we needed for our stay. A peacefully quiet overnight with a great view of Casper Mountain and pronghorn in the field across the road. We highly recommend these hosts and we'll definitely be back!
This was a nice stop for the evening. I enjoyed talking with the host and appreciated their hospitality.
I was exhausted from driving on a rough and steep highway for hours and really needed a place. They were awesome and let me come in the same day. They are an awesome couple and have a very nice place. I would highly recommend them and stay there again if in the area. I can’t express the gratitude I had for this caring and thoughtful couple.
This was my first time using boondockerswelcone! It was an amazing experience.
The property is beautiful, was easy to coordinate.
Thanks thanks thanks
LaCinda & Howard thank y’all for a peaceful couple of nights. Y’all’s generosity and hospitality were very much appreciated. This is a beautiful place easy to get to, big entrance onto property and plenty of room for the biggest of rigs! We had a little trouble unhooking our 5th wheel and Howard came to our rescue with WD40 and we got it off. We did some shopping in town. Had a nice picnic lunch at a park on the North Platte River. Had our oil changed at the RAM dealership in town and they washed our truck for free. Very nice town. Our hosts even let us top off our fresh water tank on our way out. We saw the Antelope and the deer grazing this morning. We will definitely stay here again. Whenever y’all are in Texas we would love to host y’all. Blessings, John and Brenda
Beautiful property and terrific hosts hope we can stay there again in the future
Loved watching the Antelope in the pasture across the road. Our dogs really likes seeing the rabbits also. Very quiet place to get the road out of you. The hosts are great and very friendly. We also social distanced but had a great conversation with them.
A lovely level spot to park. Fields across the way with sunflowers and antelope. Hosts very helpful and provided area information. Wish we had more time. Saw Fort Casper, Waterfall at Rotary Park experienced Gravity Hill and caught Historic Trails Discovery Center on way out.
Would definitely stay again if in the area.
Traveler beware - but rescue is here!
There are no gas stations for the last 90 miles into Casper on Rt. 20. There is also extremely limited cell phone service. We found both out the hard way...
Thank G-d for the Tiltons who didn't even hesitate and drove out 30 miles (!!) with a full 5 gallon gas can to rescue us, and kept making it as if it were no big deal at all, even as the hour got later and later.
They were so kind and patient with our kids, with ready smiles, advice, a welcome bag with ideas of things to do, and a most beautiful, quiet and relaxing property with beautiful views of the mountains in the background and fields with bountiful wildflowers in the fore.
Our children loved exploring their expansive property, and the Tiltons graciously let our kids keep some bison and elk skulls they found, too.
Wonderful western hospitality at its very best! you'll be hard pressed to find nicer, more lovely people to stay with.We enjoyed every minute!!
We stayed here for two nights and it was absolutely wonderful. We saw 25 or more antelope in the field in front of us. We would definitely ask again for permission to stay again if we travel through this area.
Nice respite location out of the wind due to planted trees with 20 amp electric available. Would stay here again.
The Tiltons are amazing hosts. They were so kind and were very helpful when we didn't have the correct connection they loaned us theirs for the night. They were getting ready for their next adventure but took the time to talk with us and help out. Also there really are antelope all around their home it was so great to see a herd across the street.
The location is fantastic. Easy access, level ground, and views of Casper mountain. The antelope really do play outside.
The Tiltons are great hosts. They provided an info pack with local information and gave great advice for things we could do with our young daughter.
Thank you for letting us stay!
We had a great stay. It was our first time ever driving our new to us rig. And our first stay with Boondockers welcome and it could not have been a better first time experience. She came out to greet us and help to guild us in backing up. So easy to back up and the view was perfect.
The host was very easy to work with and very welcoming. Lovely piece of land with a short drive into Casper. Host offered a lot of ideas for things to do in the area.
Passing through Casper for the day and this was the perfect stop to hit a lot of attractions and still get a comfortable nights stay in.
Super friendly hosts, great location, quiet area and super helpful with tourists info and maps👍, very helpful.
Thank you for a wonderful stay!
So appreciative of being hosted by the friendly & helpful Tiltons at their beautiful property surrounded by green fields & open space. We had the option of parking on a flat, beautiful grassy area bordered by tall trees or because we were small enough, to park on the cement pad in front of their large garage area which worked great for us as we had some maintenance work to do on the trailer. Our hosts were so helpful & incredibly accommodating. We were able to hook up to power & were asked if we needed to fill up with water.
It was such a quite & peaceful setting, loved the meadowlark that serenaded us. I am amazed at the graciousness & generosity of people like the Tiltons who open their places to complete strangers. It's people like them that make you feel good about the world.
Easy to find, nice big area to turn around and back in to a very level spot. Our host was so kind and accommodating and made sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The area outside our front door was lovely.
Thanks for a great evening!
After a long journey from Yellowstone National Park we arrived Here where its host greeted us in a very friendly and cordial welcoming , LaCinda helped us settle in and most importantly made us feel like we were at home and gave us permission to walk around of the property. This place is formidable & peaceful.
On our way from Rocky Mountain Park to Grand Tetons and this was the perfect stopping place. We had a restful night in this little bit of paradise. Easy in and out with our 37ft 5th wheel. There is a Walmart about 15 minutes away to get supplies. Took a lovely evening walk down the country road to look at the Pronghorns and horses.
This was the perfect spot for us, we got to see lots of antelope right out our window. There were bad winds in the area but where we parked we did not feel them much. The owners were great and made sure we were level and comfortable. We enjoyed our stay, perfect place to relax before heading to Grand Tetons and Yellowstone.
The Tiltons were a very welcoming couple. Their property is very quiet and relaxing. We could easily see up to a dozen or so Pronghorn grazing in the field across the road whenever we looked there. Thank you for hosting us and if you ever make it back to Virginia we would love to reciprocate.
I truly enjoyed my stay at this great location & I even woke-up to the sight of a buck & doe Mule Deer ~15' from my RV, in the grass directly out my bedroom window.
I visited Casper & had a great breakfast at Johnny J's Diner before I drove to the top of Casper Mountain to view & take pictures of the valley below. Along the way I visited & hiked up to the beautiful Kiwanis Club Garden Creek Waterfall.
Yes! I would definitely enjoy revisiting this beautiful location!
And "thetiltons" are a wonderful example of what makes "BW" so special!
They even gave me a much appreciated going away gift.
The Tiltons were wonderfully welcoming despite our blitz in and out of their accommodations. We were on our way to help out our son’s family. We felt safe and secure at their place during the “plague” and are grateful for their hosting of us.
My husband and I stayed one night as we were just passing through. Friendly hosts, easy to find the property. Parking spot was nice and level and it was so quiet ovenight!
