We easily found our camping location and were directed to a lovely parking spot by our hosts. The site is in a level drive on the hill and overlooked a beautiful area. They have chickens and guineas free ranging which really intrigued our dog. We had a great visit just before leaving this morning. Wonderful folks that we'd love to visit again or have them visit with us anytime. Thank you!
We enjoyed staying at this peaceful location out in the country. Have a beautiful view and we slept great!
I've had a lovely time staying with this helpful and welcoming couple. My quiet spot on a hillside overlooked pastures and trees. Nearby hiking at Leonard Preserve and Nan Westin Preserve along the River Raisin was serene with wooded paths, open meadows, original prairie in spots, and river wildlife. More choices of preserves are nearby. A very big bonus was getting help from Rudi and repairs on my 7-pin connector! Lively conversation with an interesting couple!
Very pleasant stay, host was genuine and kind sharing the property with us. Saw some chickens and beautiful Guinna hens (or pea hens) and had a nice walk too.
We loved our camping with these hosts. We would like to come again. They were delightful!!!!
I felt very welcome here. Off the beaten path away from the usual noises. The sounds you do here are the guinea hens and chickens clucking, and the rooster welcoming the day. Birds, butterflies, rescue dogs and boondockers are all welcome in this pastoral setting.
The host was friendly and greeted us promptly.
Great spot to relax and enjoy the view. We enjoyed hearing the chickens and guineas on occasion and watching them free range.
We recommend the site and hope to visit again some day if in the area.
R&R were wonderful. Their place is quiet on top of a hill with pretty views. They are warm and down to earth. We spent an evening and morning chatting with them. Recommend staying here if you are in the area.
We really enjoyed our stay. Wonderful hosts who were so kind and accommodating! We need to explore Michigan more. Thanks so much!
A wonderful stay with roaming chickens and a nice view of the farm valleys. Thanks for having us and the peach dessert was really good!
Our only regret about our stay here is we got in later than expected didn't have enough time to spend with our very gracious hosts. Their home is located about a mile off the main road on a well-kept dirt road and is situated up on a hill overlooking pasture land.
Even in the short time we spend with them, we feel as though we've made new friends. We look forward to traveling back through the area for a visit. Definitely recommended.
Enjoyed the company of our hosts who went out of their way to host us on their beautiful property. We enjoyed the conversation, and company of 3 adorable canines and chickens. We highly recommend this location.
As hosts they provided us with a very interesting evening, they are a very nice couple with a beautiful property.
