Yvan is a great host - friendly, conversant, and helpful to BdW guests. Big Bird's Nest is best for smaller RVs as street access is narrow. Driveway is wide, but rig must be maneuvered close to adjoining hedge to allow vehicle access rear of site. Yvan & I performed a little impromptu hedge trimming to make access to our trailer door easier. When we we would not be occupying the trailer during the day, we closed our slides on left side of trailer to prevent interference with host's use of driveway to rear. Minor issues to be sure, as this site did provide ease of access into Montreal, which we used to visit friends an see the town. We highly recommend a visit to Mt. Royal, a very large public park overlooking the city of Montreal and the St. Lawrence River, with an expansive observation venue at its peak (see photos). There are several public dump sites around our parking site, including one with easy access just a few blocks away. We enjoyed several good conversations with Yvan about our various RV travels and he showed us his truck camper that he and his wife use extensively. Overall, a good experience and a new friendship, however brief, but who knows what the future may hold?

We sent the host a last minute request to stay (after not hearing back from another BW host). Although they were entertaining guests they accepted us and we were warmly welcomed. We were even invited to join them around their firepit for good discussions along with their company. Ivan provided lots of tips on what to do including the local rail trail which we enjoyed during the day. Thanks for your wonderful hospitality Ivan and Danielle!

Really nice hosts, would have liked to have spent some more time chatting with them and they were very helpful too. If coming from the north, this is a great place to stay for visiting Montreal, the street is quiet while still being close to shops, gas and dump station. Thank you!
