Swing by for a few hours sleep, a couple days of area fun or just park your rig near downtown for a bit. Quiet street parking in front of artsy historic home. Couple min walk to the Arts District, Downtown Carmel Indiana. We can provide 15 amp service if were going to be around. Water fill is available from the house hose, but hose water is very similar to well water. Fine for showering and cleaning, not great for drinking but you won't die from it. Quiet pets are always welcome, we love fur babies!
No hybrid fold outs. No generators after dark. No loud dogs. No chilling in yard. No loud Music/TV after dark. This is public street parking, we don't own the street. We ask this to minimize any issues in the area. We have understanding/cool neighbors, but we don't want to create lots of attention. We're just wanting to provide a safe, comfortable space to park/stay near an awesome area. Thanks!
Concrete street parking in front of home- 95% Level front to back. 100% level side to side. Dead end street, Large turn around at street's end
130+ craft beers on tap at The Pint room (Also great burgers). Pad Thai has good food. Sunking and Union Breweries have good Beer. Sugar Creek and Peace Water wineries if you're into overpriced, by the glass wine. Bike Rentals and the Monon Bike/Jogging path are a 5 min walk away.
We had a very quiet peaceful night parking near the newly developed Arts District. Easy walk to restaurants breweries or desert.
Our host greeted us upon arrival and was helpful in suggesting places to eat.
We would stay again.
Our Host gave us an extension cord and made us feel welcome. Beautiful little town center nearby. Spent a peaceful night and felt safe.
We requested, on the lat minute. to stay for an overnight, while travelling from Chicago to Cincinati, OH.
Quick reply and good communication.
We were happy to learn from our hosts that we are lucy to visit the best location chosen to live in the entire USA (small- mid cities).
Nice and friendly chat with a nice, young and very welcoming couple.
Hope to host them soon, during their visit in our home land Israel.
Cool art area, which was interesting to look around. Met some friends for lunch and this was a good location to park & walk to town. Host was friendly and introduced himself and gave a nice welcome.
We only stayed the afternoon, as we had had to get miles under our tires.
The street parking is noted clearly in the host’s description. However, as this site was parking on a residential street, near a corner, we might have felt uneasy for an overnight stay.
Hosts were so gracious in accepting me last minute AND late at night. Even offered me power, a shower, and a beer. Walking distance to a very cool Indy surburb. Highly recommended, thanks guys!
