We live in the country ,on the south side of Rt.50 , about 10 miles West of Salisbury ,Md. Our property is surrounded by woods and farmland. It is very quiet both in the daytime and especially at night ! A lot of times deer can be seen in the field at night. Turkeys also come out but can only be seen when the crops are low. We have 30amp. service to the carport,I have a 48 ft. 8 gauge RV cord. there is also 20 amp. service to the carport. We also have a combination fire ring/ grill . Wood and Charcoal are available on -site. If you saw the movie "Field of Dreams", well this is our piece of Heaven !
We are non-smokers, if you smoke all we ask is don't throw your butts on the ground and don't smoke in the presence of us. Generators can be run as long as they are "RV" approved with spark arrestor mufflers (no "Contractor" grade). There is a section of our yard that is fenced in for our dogs only. Your pets may be off leash, they are your kids so you are responsible for them. There is a large grassy area behind my out building that they can use. Electric is available. $7.00 with no A/C and $10.00 with A/C for a 24 hr. period. We have added a new addition to our site. We now have a totally enclosed outdoor shower room with lights and electric to make your stay more pleasurable and to give some relief to your "grey" water tank. We are on well water so thoughtful use of water is appreciated. Please leave the area as clean or cleaner than when you found it. Trash cans with lids are available for your "household trash". We just want to be treated with mutual respect. We want you to enjoy your stay. You the visitor will dictate if rules have to be added or changed. We want you to enjoy our piece of Heaven !
We live on a well maintained tar and chip (almost blacktop) road a little over 2 miles from Route 50 (major highway for the "shore"). The" easternshore " is flatland country, no hills to worry about. Our location is easily accessible .
I have a large Pole Building behind our house with a large graveled area in front of it which is used as a turn around area. My RV carport is also near my main building with areas around it for parking. Pickups pulling trailers, and 5th wheels (around 30 ft.) can probably do a U-turn in the gravel area ,anything longer will probably have to back in the driveway from the road. This also applies to Motorhomes also. We have a 35 ft. class C pulling a Toad and I can't make the full swing. I have to unhook the Toad once I get back to the gravel area after pulling in. We have grassy areas around the Carport and I don't mind people driving on the grass. If you want to stay hooked up you can,or unhook if you like. we live on 2.3 acres.
We are 15 mins. from Salisbury. If you like baseball there is the "Shorebirds Stadium". We are 45 mins. from Ocean City, about 55 mins. from Assateague Island (Home of "Misty" the Chincoteague Pony" and about 1 hr. from Chincoteague. 50 miles north is Dover , De. Home of Dover Downs (Racetrack and Casino) If you drive in any direction from our house 90 minutes will get you to most things of interest on the "Eastern Shore" !
An excellent place to spend some quiet time at night. Very nice setup for Boondocking. Friendly host and helpful with information.
We had a great time there. Loved the shower and the grill. Space was great for my dog too. Ride to the beach was easy. Would definitely stay again in the future.
This location was great. The host was very nice. They have electric and water for a small fee. They even have a shower outdoors. I highly recommend this host.
Beats walmart parking lot by light years. Very friendly, accommodating and helpful hosts. We were able to hook up to 30 amp and they have a shower house. This experience makes me want to reciprocate and become a host too. If only I had more than 1/3 acre.
We requested 5 nights and stayed 4 due to work obligations in VA. Our hosts were waiting our arrival and had a nice spot to park. They provided a board for leveling and a step to put in front of our step. After we set up, he informed us the new outdoor shower would be complete that evening and it was. A VERY NICE, REFRESHING SHOWER!
They were patient with our children and allowed our dog to free roam.
The view from the picnic table was a field with woods surrounding it. Daily we seen deer in the field. Beautiful and peaceful! We absolutely loved our stay at Suesway Acres and would love to stay again in the future.
Thank you so much for being such wonderful hosts. Your location is so peaceful and there were many things to do in the area. We had great chats and hope to meet you again someday for more of that. With lots of travel days ahead for us all, we're looking forward to hearing and sharing stories about the trips taken. Travel safe and hope you have tons of fun along the way. Cheers for now. Paul and Ineke
This was our first stay with Boondockers Welcome and it was superb. Our hosts were friendly and very accommodating. Their spot is level, well kept, safe, quiet, you couldn’t ask for much more. We enjoyed watching the wildlife in the field. We appreciated the tips they provided on things to do and local places to eat. We enjoyed our stay very much and would recommend to anyone visiting this area.
Another wonderful Boondocking experience, staying at Jeff and Sue’s “Little piece of heaven “! Jeff and Sue are very helpful and welcoming to their guests! As a newbie to RV life, I have a ton of questions and Jeff is always available to answer those questions and figure out solutions to my RV dilemmas.… Special thanks to Jeff and Sue for being so willing to share their wonderful Homestead with the Boondocker’s Welcome world! Kathy
The hosts, Sue & Jeff, are everything a host should be! They are warm, receptive and very helpful! Their property is off the beaten path, private and extremely well maintained! It is close to a shopping area, Ocean City,MD, Assateague Island and many more adventure areas!
Jeff is very knowledgable, highly skilled and willing to share his expertise! Sue is very friendly and shares her knowledge of the nearby attractions!
While traveling the Delmarva Peninsula, be sure to make Sue's Way one of your boondocking destinations!
