We live in the country ,on the south side of Rt.50 , about 10 miles West of Salisbury ,Md. Our property is surrounded by woods and farmland. It is very quiet both in the daytime and especially at night ! A lot of times deer can be seen in the field at night. Turkeys also come out but can only be seen when the crops are low. We have two 30amp.Recpts. #1 is at the carport for our RV and the other is at the concrete pad in front of my shop outback, there is also 20 amp. service to the carport. I also have 2 Heavy Duty (8ga.) Extension Cords(One is 48 feet, the other 100 feet) We are not (officially) opening our site to three guests but if you see days X'ed out , please message me, we have had three guests on our site at one time. It all depends on your size and type of Rig you have along with your electrical requirements. We also have a combination fire ring/ grill . Wood and Charcoal are available on -site. If you saw the movie "Field of Dreams", well this is our piece of Heaven ! Suggested Local Attractions:We are 15 mins. from Salisbury. If you like baseball there is the "Shorebirds Stadium". We are 45 mins. from Ocean City, about 55 mins. from Assateague Island (Home of "Misty" the Chincoteague Pony" and about 1 hr. from Chincoteague. 50 miles north is Dover , De. Home of Dover Downs (Racetrack and Casino) If you drive in any direction from our house 90 minutes will get you to most things of interest on the "Eastern Shore" !

House Rules

Important! If your profile is not complete with a picture of you and your RV, your stay request will be denied! Not trying to be rude, we just like to know who and what are showing up. We are QUARANTINE FRIENDLY ! We are non-smokers, if you smoke all we ask is don't throw your butts on the ground and don't smoke in the presence of us. Generators can be run as long as they are "RV" approved with spark arrestor mufflers (no "Contractor" grade). There is a section of our yard that is fenced in for our dogs only. Your pets may be off leash, they are your kids so you are responsible for them. There is a large grassy area behind my out building that they can use. Electric is available .All amenities are available for a Donation of $10.00 a night .We have added a new addition to our site. We now have a totally enclosed outdoor shower room with lights and electric to make your stay more pleasurable and to give some relief to your "grey" water tank. Another addition we have added to our site is a small room attached to our shower house which contains a washing machine for your use. A donation of $3.00 a load (wash and dry) is requested. We have kept this donation fee separate because we didn't want our stay requested donation fee to be any higher. We are on well water so thoughtful use of water is appreciated. Please leave the area as clean or cleaner than when you found it. Trash cans with lids are available for your "household trash". We just want to be treated with mutual respect. We want you to enjoy your stay. You the visitor will dictate if rules have to be added or changed. We want you to enjoy our piece of Heaven ! New for 2021 we have upgraded our parking area . We now have an 18' X 50' gravel pad ! Hi everybody! Happy New Year to all of you out there. Picture is just to calm your heart ! As a host I just got done upgrading my agreement with BW . I don't agree with everything and I hope I don't get in trouble for posting some of my thoughts. I realize some of the rules need to be in place for a few of "Bad Apples " in the bushel. Let me explain my position on the number of nights that someone can stay. The new rule is 5 nights within 90 days and I do understand for what this Group was originally started for. My rules are a little different according to your "Credit Report "(I'll explain in a little bit). As hosts we try to look for places that we would like to be a "Guest " at so this is where a lot of our side of thinking come from. Now I will get to the point. Our site is on the Eastern Shore of Maryland (35 mi. from Ocean City),so we are in a summertime resort area that can be very expensive for a family vacation. Since I regulate our site and since We get the same "credit" whether a guest stays one night or five nights here is the offer and the rules. If planning a weeks vacation in this area and if you make reservations with us 1 month in advance ( and have a good credit score ) we will let you stay 2 weekends with the week in between with just one posting to BW. All other rules apply as if just staying individual nights.(Donations, Etc.) We want people to be able to "Explore the Shore " without breaking their wallet. Now , let's explain the credit score. When we get a BW request we look at your profile very carefully. We read what other hosts have to say about you, how many times you have used BW ,and look at what you use for RVing. All this is your "credit score". So,just like anywhere else, a good "Credit Score " usually gets you a better deal. All that said, hope you give us a try, keep your "Credit Score " high and go out and explore this Great Country and be Safe. Sorry for the long post and hearing me out!

Location

Access Road Conditions: We live on a well maintained blacktop road a little over 2 miles from Route 50 (major highway for the "shore"). The" easternshore " is flatland country, no hills to worry about. Our location is easily accessible . Tow Vehicle Parking Details: I have a large Pole Building behind our house with a large graveled area in front of it which is used as a turn around area. My RV carport is also near my main building with areas around it for parking. Pickups pulling trailers, and 5th wheels (around 30 ft.) can probably do a U-turn in the gravel area ,anything longer will probably have to back in the driveway from the road. This also applies to Motorhomes also. We have a 35 ft. class C pulling a Toad and I can't make the full swing. I have to unhook the Toad once I get back to the gravel area after pulling in. If you want to stay hooked up you can,or unhook if you like. we live on 2.3 acres.

Jeff and Sue are wonderful hosts. It was easy to find and park on their beautiful property. Very peaceful place to spend the night. Added bonus, Jeff helped me diagnose a problem i was having with my toad (a Jeep Wrangler). Highly recommend.

Upon our arrival Jeff and Sue greeted us and Jeff expertly guided us into our space. He had wood ramps to help level us out and helped us get settled in. Thanks for the beautiful place to stay
