We live in the country ,on the south side of Rt.50 , about 10 miles West of Salisbury ,Md. Our property is surrounded by woods and farmland. It is very quiet both in the daytime and especially at night ! A lot of times deer can be seen in the field at night. Turkeys also come out but can only be seen when the crops are low. We have two 30amp.Recpts. #1 is at the carport for our RV and the other is at the concrete pad in front of my shop outback, there is also 20 amp. service to the carport. I also have 2 Heavy Duty (8ga.) Extension Cords(One is 48 feet, the other 100 feet) We are not (officially) opening our site to three guests but if you see days X'ed out , please message me, we have had three guests on our site at one time. It all depends on your size and type of Rig you have along with your electrical requirements. We also have a combination fire ring/ grill . Wood and Charcoal are available on -site. If you saw the movie "Field of Dreams", well this is our piece of Heaven ! We are QUARANTINE FRIENDLY !
We are QUARANTINE FRIENDLY ! We are non-smokers, if you smoke all we ask is don't throw your butts on the ground and don't smoke in the presence of us. Generators can be run as long as they are "RV" approved with spark arrestor mufflers (no "Contractor" grade). There is a section of our yard that is fenced in for our dogs only. Your pets may be off leash, they are your kids so you are responsible for them. There is a large grassy area behind my out building that they can use. Electric is available .All amenities are available for a Donation of $10.00 a night .We have added a new addition to our site. We now have a totally enclosed outdoor shower room with lights and electric to make your stay more pleasurable and to give some relief to your "grey" water tank. Another addition we have added to our site is a small room attached to our shower house which contains a washing machine for your use. A donation of $2.00 a load is requested. We have kept this donation fee separate because we didn't want our stay requested donation fee to be any higher. We are on well water so thoughtful use of water is appreciated. Please leave the area as clean or cleaner than when you found it. Trash cans with lids are available for your "household trash". We just want to be treated with mutual respect. We want you to enjoy your stay. You the visitor will dictate if rules have to be added or changed. We want you to enjoy our piece of Heaven ! New for 2021 we have upgraded our parking area . We now have an 18' X 50' gravel pad !
Hi everybody! Happy New Year to all of you out there. Picture is just to calm your heart !
As a host I just got done upgrading my agreement with BW . I don't agree with everything and I hope I don't get in trouble for posting some of my thoughts. I realize some of the rules need to be in place for a few of "Bad Apples " in the bushel. Let me explain my position on the number of nights that someone can stay. The new rule is 5 nights within 90 days and I do understand for what this Group was originally started for. My rules are a little different according to your "Credit Report "(I'll explain in a little bit). As hosts we try to look for places that we would like to be a "Guest " at so this is where a lot of our side of thinking come from.
Now I will get to the point. Our site is on the Eastern Shore of Maryland (35 mi. from Ocean City),so we are in a summertime resort area that can be very expensive for a family vacation. Since I regulate our site and since We get the same "credit" whether a guest stays one night or five nights here is the offer and the rules.
If planning a weeks vacation in this area and if you make reservations with us 1 month in advance ( and have a good credit score ) we will let you stay 2 weekends with the week in between with just one posting to BW. All other rules apply as if just staying individual nights.(Donations, Etc.) We want people to be able to "Explore the Shore " without breaking their wallet.
Now , let's explain the credit score. When we get a BW request we look at your profile very carefully. We read what other hosts have to say about you, how many times you have used BW ,and look at what you use for RVing. All this is your "credit score". So,just like anywhere else, a good "Credit Score " usually gets you a better deal.
All that said, hope you give us a try, keep your "Credit Score " high and go out and explore this Great Country and be Safe.
Sorry for the long post and hearing me out!
We live on a well maintained tar and chip (almost blacktop) road a little over 2 miles from Route 50 (major highway for the "shore"). The" easternshore " is flatland country, no hills to worry about. Our location is easily accessible .
I have a large Pole Building behind our house with a large graveled area in front of it which is used as a turn around area. My RV carport is also near my main building with areas around it for parking. Pickups pulling trailers, and 5th wheels (around 30 ft.) can probably do a U-turn in the gravel area ,anything longer will probably have to back in the driveway from the road. This also applies to Motorhomes also. We have a 35 ft. class C pulling a Toad and I can't make the full swing. I have to unhook the Toad once I get back to the gravel area after pulling in. We have grassy areas around the Carport and I don't mind people driving on the grass. If you want to stay hooked up you can,or unhook if you like. we live on 2.3 acres.
We are QUARANTINE FRIENDLY !
We are 15 mins. from Salisbury. If you like baseball there is the "Shorebirds Stadium". We are 45 mins. from Ocean City, about 55 mins. from Assateague Island (Home of "Misty" the Chincoteague Pony" and about 1 hr. from Chincoteague. 50 miles north is Dover , De. Home of Dover Downs (Racetrack and Casino) If you drive in any direction from our house 90 minutes will get you to most things of interest on the "Eastern Shore" !
Hands down, our most favorite boondockers welcome site so far! The amenities will make your stay very comfortable and thier hospitality was top notch. I didn't feel like a guest, I felt like family! 🥰
Sue'sway is just a short drive to Assateague Nat Seashore and Ocean City, MD. I highly recommend this host if you're visiting the local area.
Sue’s way is truly catering to the weary traveler. From their covered eating area to their hand-crafted fire pit, their outdoor shower, washer and dryer, and even an ice maker, they have created a welcoming environment for any traveler. Grateful for the welcome of these Boondockers.
Very nice and knowledgeable about the area and history. Love the shower and washer and dryer. Also ice machine, grill and fire pit. Couldn't ask for better. Wonderful stay, definitely would come back if in the area. Thanks for a wonderful stay
We thoroughly enjoyed our visit with These wonderful hosts! They are so hospitable and kind. 😊 They have thought of everything in their setup for their guests. The nice time just sitting and listening to each other and watching the fire burn was so relaxing. It’s a nice, quiet and refreshing time! I highly recommend these lovely folks. ☺️
This was our first boondockers welcome stay, and wow were we spoiled! The hosts were so kind, and had such a nice setup for travelers. Our host was out in the driveway when we arrived and helped me back our 34 ft trailer down the driveway. It's a nice gravel parking area with easy electrical and water hookups. The outdoor area with washing machine and picnic table and firepit felt like having our own campground to ourselves. And the shower room they built was so nice and big! The land is very quiet and relaxing, in the middle of soybean fields. Our dogs loved being able to run free and sniff around, and our younger dog was even able to go into the fenced in yard to play with their dogs. It was easy to get to right off the main highway. I'll definitely stop here again if we end up on the same route! My only con is that we couldn't stay longer!
Jeff and Sue are THE BEST HOSTS! (I was their first Boondocker, when I was just testing out my RV... they were excellent hosts and have gotten better, if that is possible!) They have gone out-of-their-way to make each guest feel totally special! Their accommodations go way beyond what could/should be expected from a Boondocker host! Besides electric, water and a well-lit, level parking spot, there is an enclosed, heated shower, a carport with a large picnic table and cushioned chairs, washer and dryer and, drum roll, please... an ice-maker! And I'm not even going to mention, Jeff's world-famous chocolate cupcakes. nor his mechanical skills if something goes wrong on the RV!
Put Sue's Way Acres on your must-stay list for coming to the beach!
We had a great stay! The hospitality and amenities can’t be beat! Super dog friendly and overall great experience. We’ll definitely be back!
I would like to suggest that Mr.&Mrs.Suesway at Suesway acres to be admitted into the Boondockers Hall of Fame. No Boondockers HOF? Let’s get one started and allow Jeff and Sue to be the model of what an inductee would look like. Great people. We will look forward to the opportunity to visit with them again. Sue, keep floating the balloons.
2nd time staying here and they are always the best. Accommodating, kind, and great stories had all around. Stay here for a great time!
Thank you for your amazing hospitality! You made us feel like family. I only wish we were staying more than one night. The amenities available and the beautiful surroundings along with your wonderful company made it the best experience we’ve ever had boondocking.
These are hosts who genuinely look after their guests. Great parking spot, water and 30amp power, a shower, a washing machine, a bbq and fire pit, it’s an oasis. As a full timer, this was a port in a storm, I had a chance to restock, do a bit of maintenance, do some laundry, have a shower and make some new friends. Thank you for your hospitality, your generosity, your conversations and most of all your friendship. My girls and I have enjoyed being here and look forward to seeing you both again. Cheers! B, F & F.
Suesway Acres were wonderful hosts and there property was beautiful. Their outdoor shower for guests to use was great, not to mention an ice maker, and a washer & dryer! We wish we could have stayed a few more days, but our time was great. Being about an hour from Ocean City, MD made it a great place to call home for several days. Quiet and peaceful at their property in the mornings and evenings and fun in the sun and surf during the day. Would definitely recommend them to anyone in the area.
Great location close to nearby attractions. The hosts greater us and made us feel at home. Nicer amenities than most campgrounds we have been too! Hope to see you two again.
Sue and Jeff were very sweet to host our family for 2 nights. They really thought of everything to make their guests comfortable like a shower, washer and dryer, picnic tables and hookups. Would recommend their place. The location was lovely as well with places for the kids to run.
We became friends from our first visit. They always make us feel welcomed and right at home. Thank you for your hospitality. We always look forward to our visit with our friends.
Couldn't have asked for a better Boondocker stay - the cats out of the bag now and you'll all want to stay here. I easily backed down the long driveway to my spot with a 30 amp hook-up. Can accomodate any size rig. Amenities like no other - including the departing "best in the world" treat!!! Thanks for a fantastic stay and hope we'll be back on down the road. ;o)
We can't say enough good things about the hosts. Their place is fantastic! They are so hospitable and will so anything for you. Their shower house was very nice to save our grey tank capacity. The area had so much to do that we were busy every day. We will diffenantly be back next year.
We spent such an enjoyable few days at this host site! Being hosts, we know what goes into providing a place that we want to make as comfortable as we can for guests. SueswayAcres goes a step beyond, setting up unparalleled amenities not found on many BW sites. Add to that their hospitality, local recommendations, and great conversations and SueswayAcres exceeds what is found in many privately owned campgrounds. If you are fortunate enough to find yourself as their guests, you will be in excellent hands for a wonderful stay.
Very nice couple that truly care about the people that visit them. Every part of the place we stayed at was thoughtfully out together for us. I also had lots of questions about the trailer I had and they answered everyone of them. Also got some advice on nearby fishing and the best places for crabs. Very nice people with jokes as a required addon.
Our hosts and the site were among the best we've visited in our Boondockers Welcome stays. We had access to many amenities, fresh produce and freshly baked muffins, as well as assistance with a technical issue with our tow lights, and above all, wonderful conversation and friendship. We sincerely hope to return!
Jeff and Sue are so hospitable and go above and beyond. A true home away from. We will keep them on the lists of places to revisit.
The owners of this boondocking property are some of the kindest folks I’ve met! They’re interesting and are knowledgeable on a wide variety of topics, which makes conversations nice. They are so welcoming!
The site and hoookups are better maintained and more accessible then most full service campsites I’ve stayed. This is a great location and the host was extremely friendly and welcoming. The dogs loved the safe space to run too! I would highly recommend this host.
Awesome host!! Awesome first stay with Boondockers Welcome! I can't say enough about our stay here! Even if you are looking to go to the beach, this is close enough but yet in the country.
30 amp hook up, water hook up, outdoor shower, washer, dryer. The weather was so nice we stayed outside almost the whole time. The host had a Fourth of July cookout.
This was my first stay using boondockers and it spoiled me. Great space for my rig, lots of help throughout the stay by the host and other boondockers. Really beautiful property. Honestly one of my favorite stays since I've started full timing. The hosts are absolutely fantastic.
Will definitely be returning!!!!
These are amazing hosts who became friends last year after our first stay. The facility is a dream - shower house, laundry, water and electric hookups, nice level pad. Already planning our next visit!
We had a relaxing nights stay at this location. .
From 30amp electric, a beautifully constructed shower, ice machine and great views, this has it all!
Great hosts that have been there and done that.
We highly recommend this location.
The hosts at Suesway Acres were absolutely wonderful! They were welcoming and very helpful to me in me parking my trailer. The property was very nice and quiet The hosts were lovely to talk to about an array of topics and were enjoyable to be around!
My first ever Boondocks Welcome stay took place after I enjoyed nights at two different Harvest Host locations.
My Boondockers Welcome Host, Sues's Way, I describe as "excellent and premier hospitality."
The host and her husband project a loving familiarity of a friend you have known since childhood. Their location provides extra nuances to all Boondockers Welcome members will be overjoyed and enthusiastically appreciated.
Wheatfields and a natural forest surround their 2-acre host location, producing the sounds of silence landscaped with occasional wildlife.
The next time you are touring Maryland's Eastern shore, make a reservation to experience their excellent hospitality.
WOW. what a stay. Host or not, this has been the best experience any Boondocker could imagine. Not only did they treat us like a family member you like, but like family at a 5 star hotel. They were considerate with your stay while tending to theirwork around the place .In the evening they had a camp fire and willing to share life experiences on the same level. LOOK OUT HOSTS. This will be a hard act to follow. Oh yeah the muffins were delicious.
Doc and I enjoyed our stay on the host property. They were very nice and gave us suggestions on things to do. We really appreciate them having us on their property. We were able to spend some time with the hosts and have a conversation with them which, was very nice. Thank you again for having us.
One of our favorite places to go. They made us feel welcomed from day one. Now we are friends and always look forward to our next visit.
We really enjoyed our time at Sue’s way. There were more amenities than we could have hoped for and the hosts were so friendly and welcoming. There was plenty of space for the kids to play and while the property was in the quiet part of the country, it was still close enough to shops and restaurants. We hope to visit Sue’s again in the future!
Absolutely love this BW! The hosts are some of the nicest people I’ve ever met and so accommodating. Thank you guys very much!
It's hard to think of anything that hasn't already been said about the site and the wonderful hosts at Sue'sway Acres.
Talking with them was a real treat and I love the life stories of this wonderful couple. The kicker was how much thought and hard work J has put into making sure us BW guests are taken care of. The set up he has built is way above and beyond and it was neat to see how much joy that brings him.
Many thanks for a great two nights, I wish you all the best in life and hope our paths cross again someday.
These folks were way above accomadating. It was chilly so they offered an electric heater (& electric to power it). Great amenities, level pad, picnic table, W/D, private heathered "real"shower, & we were honored to receive hot out of the oven, famous, chocolate muffins for breakfast. Very nice and friendly folks. Highly recommend as a stop.
Once you read through the other reviews you know you can't go wrong at Suesway Acres! These are good folks. Let's see - what can I add that hasn't already been said? New crushed stone parking pad was awaiting our 40' 5er. Since we have a 40' and needed to back in we came in so we could back to the drivers side. Their road is not busy so there was no pressure on backing in and was in after a couple (ok, maybe a few ;) tries. No obstructions, no big ditches or dropoffs, no tree limbs, no problem. J got us set up, popped a carpeted step under our steps to make a perfect landing, and we plugged into the 30A. The whole family loved the shower! We did laundry like crazy and utilized both the drying line and the dryer! These are new machines - and we so appreciated them! How cool is that!?
Our daughter spent 3 days loving on the new puppy (starts with a T I'm sure of it). We enjoyed dinner together with J & S and cooked on their charcoal fire pit and then had a wonderful fire with them.
We took one of the days and went to Assateague Island which is a very drive-able 45ish minutes. Wished we would have brought the beach "stuff" to the beach as it really is a great beach. Saw the ponies, grabbed groceries at the WM pickup in local Salisbury.
The muffins. Oh the muffins. You'll know what I mean if you're lucky enough to get some!
So quiet at night. Great views to the rear overlooking the field. Spent a whole day just hanging out with them.
You can't find nicer more generous hosts. Thanks so much both of you. We had a very special stay and we sincerely hope to see you again down the road! -JTLE
You will not find more hospitable, friendly, and interesting hosts anywhere! J and S were most welcoming and I really enjoyed chatting and swapping stories. Their location is beautiful, situated in the midst of farmland and surrounding forested areas. While I did not need them, the hosts also make available an amazing array of amenities for their guests. There is a shower room, power and water hookups, washer and dryer, fire ring/grill, and a covered picnic area with tables. Thanks so much for your hospitality and I truly hope our paths cross again!
S and J are the most welcoming, helpful and amazing hosts. Their place is comfortable, open, and quiet. They also offer electric and water, which for us was great. But the best part of Suesway Acres is the couple themselves. We had some issues with our rig and J went out of his way to help us...literally out of his way, as he went to Lowe’s to find parts which he used to come up with a fix for our rig. Amazing!! We stayed a day longer than originally planned so my husband could do some additional repairs and J was right there with him, giving him tips and lending him just about any kind of tool he needed. We were so happy to be able to sit with them around the fire at night (6 feet apart of course) and get to know them. And to top it all off J made us his specialty—chocolate muffins—to take with us on the road. Lovely people with two very cute dogs, and a puppy on the way!
If you’re in the area, go stay with them. You’ll be happy you did. Looking forward to seeing them again next time we’re in the area. S and J, thanks again for a wonderful stay!!
Do yourself a favor and if passing through Maryland/ Delaware, put a stay request in at Suesway ! You won’t regret it. Generous hosts. Beautiful peaceful property. Amenities A traveler really appreciates.
1 million Thank you’s Suesway!
One can only be so lucky to stay at Suesway!! You don’t find boondockers welcome like this everywhere folks. Truly
ONE OF A KIND.
What a wonderful setting with fabulous amenities and the most kind, generous hosts! Heated shower room, laundry facilities, electric, a big field for the dog to romp. The host even brought me warm muffins shortly after arrival!! Amazing kindness and the muffins are fabulous! Will definitely stay here again when in the area. In fact, likely staying again tonight!
We had all the comforts of home...a shower, washer & dryer, heat lamp, fireplace and wood, bbq, outside table under a patio, water, and electricity. Great location. Well maintained property. This is a great place if you are passing through.
Suesway 100% knows what the RVer needs!
Beautiful, peaceful surroundings with all the luxury amenities you could need!
Boondockers Welcome at its best.
Beyond hospitable and kind.
The hosts have gone way beyond what is expected. Very welcoming. Even though they already had a guest in their primary spot, they arranged electric for me for this cold night. I used the immaculately clean, heated shower room and also did a load of laundry. So convenient. Very nice, generous folks. And a nice quiet spot for the night.
Great spot within an hour, at most, to beaches and attractions. Hosts were super friendly and helpful. Plenty if space to park our 35 ft 5th wheel. Plenty of amenties such as shower house(wow), electric and water($10/day), fire pit with fire wood, washer and dryer. Good conversations and good information abou the area. Delicious muffins! Thank you so much for the welcome!
The hosts are great and have created a spot above and beyond boondocking. We only stayed one night, but used the shower and the washer/dryer which really helped out, plus we got some chocolate goodies in the process!
They are pet friendly and our dog got some play time with theirs. Guess who slept well that night.
We'll definitely be back!
This host makes every effort to make your stay convenient. Laundry right next to your rig. A heated shower room complete with toiletries. Picnic table, firewood, table mounted space heater, water and a choice of electric connections. Mrs Sue’s Way wasn’t there but Mr Sue’s Way was as attentive as anyone you’ll ever meet.
No beating the hospitality here.
Great welcome, great spotting, great conversation, great facility obviously setup for Boondockers. Will visit again when in the area. Thanks so much.
This was our first time boondocking, and we are hooked. Our hosts were so welcoming. We felt right at home and this is a very safe place. No problem getting in or out. Lots of room to park and plenty of room to exercise our dog. Our little dog had a great time with their dogs. We will definitely stay in touch and plan on going back.
Great time had by all. Can't wait for the next stop. You will be in our prayers for your eye.
One of our favorite places. Returning to see good friends thanks to Boondockers. Always makes us feel right at home.
Always a pleasure staying with them. We have become friends and always look forward visiting them.
Really had a nice time and were invited to extend our stay so we could relax and enjoy the surrounding area since we were busy dealing with RV issues and that was so nice. We explored the little town of Berlin as best we could during Covid. Our hosts told us their favorite places to see and we used their advice. A very sincere thank you is due for helping us sort out our technical issues while we stayed. Hope to see you again soon.
We found ourselves with a faulty power inlet that melted our power cord and almost caused us major damage, luckily we spotted it and diagnosed it while we were here! Our hosts graciously invited us to stay again so we could fix the issue. But that’s not all, they happened to have the exact part I needed and replaced it on the spot! Do you believe in Devine intervention? We do! That was unbelievably awesome and we will never forget this kind act. It’s nice to have the advice of a master technician available also which as it turns out is the most incredible thing about boondockerswelcom, the people you meet and friendships you make! Nice time here...Thank you Suesway Acres, you are both so nice, it was a pleasure having all the amenities at our disposal while staying.
We can’t thank our hosts for being so flexible with our arrival time and helping us get situated. This is a fantastic site and very relaxing. I really liked the fact that we could do our laundry right next to our rig, have a nice shower in the custom bath house and kick back under their fixed awning on the picnic bench and table without disturbing our wonderful hosts. But the best thing I found was having an ice maker right outside because it was in the mid 90s while we stayed and we used that a lot. The fire pit looks cool but we didn’t use it. Enjoyed conversing and sharing experiences and future plans as well. Can’t say enough about our terrific hosts except thank you so much for everything.
In our first experience using Boondockers, we stayed at Sue’s Way Acres. The hosts were absolutely incredible!
The facility: Upon our arrival, our hosts gave us directions for parking, electric, & water. The picnic tables in the covered porch was a good place to hang out. The bath with hot shower was quite nice since we didn’t want to fill up our grey tank. The firepit with well stocked charcoal and wood enabled us to have BBQ dinners.
Breakfast Muffins: The first morning, our host brought us some fresh hot off the oven breakfast muffins - they were decadent and delicious!
On July 4th, they invited us to join their family for a crab feast and fireworks. They made us feel so welcomed. We almost felt like family!
All in all, it was an awesome stay and look forward to going back again.
As soon as we pulled in we felt welcomed. A great place to stay. Not only did we get electric and water we got a washer and dryer to use along with a shower and ice maker. The best part with all that was spending time with Sue and Jeff. They were friends we hadn't met yet. Looking forward to returning for our next visit. Thank you again for allowing us to stay.
As a last-minute decision, we joined Bookdockers Welcome as a way to find a stopover for our trip to the Outer Banks. Suesway Acres was the perfect location. Although we arrived later than intended, our host greeted us and helped up get parked directly next to the canopy/portico so we could exit the RV and stay dry from the rain. The hookups for 30 amp service and water were incredibly convenient. Our host helped get our friends, with their own RV, set up and then set up a 2nd picnic table underneath the covering so we could all eat together. He was available to answer all of our questions both that evening and the next morning. In addition to the electric, water and covered canopy, our hosts provide a separate hot shower facility that was above and beyond anything we expected, complete with an old RV door for nostalgia. Although we didn't take advantage, we were also provided firewood and charcoal had we wanted to cook that way or have a fire.
I enjoyed talking with our host immensely. We shared camping and life experiences (he has a great mechanical aptitude) in just a short time of knowing one another. He also was a savior when he recognized that my auxiliary battery was sulfating and needed tending to (I replaced it within an hour of being on the road the next morning). What a great first-time experience using this website. Thank you Suesway Acres for your warm hospitality. We hope to see you again in the future when we in the area!
See our other references for this splendid couple who took us in during the travel restrictions...
Needed a place to gather my thoughts and relax some with wife and dog. Great couple and conversations. Beautiful outside shower to offer releif on grey water tank. Need to bring car next time to check out area.
We've been staying with SueswayAcres since April 8th when we closed on the sale of our house and became full time RVers. We had no idea the country would shut down and we would end up sheltering-in-place on their property for six weeks. Even before we arrived, SueswayAcres reassured us that we could stay as long as we needed while travel restrictions were in place. I honestly don’t know what we would have done without them. Their property was the perfect place for a long term boondocking experience for newbies (although, given the amenities they offer — all described 100% accurately in their profile — I use the term “boondocking” loosely). During the course of our six week stay, they brought us fresh muffins on several occasions; chocolate covered strawberries and a card on our 12th anniversary; allowed us to have mail delivered to their home; helped us fix a leaky bathroom faucet; pressure washed our car & RV; cooked us a wonderful dinner of steamed shrimp, baked potatoes, and salad; visited with us around a roaring bonfire; and always offered to pick up things for us on their weekly grocery runs. Additionally, my husband took to referring to Mr. SueswayAcres as “The Professor,” because he is a gifted mechanic and was more than willing to answer what probably seemed like endless questions about our RV (theirs is similar). The kindness and giving spirit of this wonderful couple shined through and we would not hesitate to recommend SueswayAcres for a visit, during a pandemic or any time! SueswayAcres has sold us on the Boondockers Welcome concept and we consider them friends, not just hosts, and hope to get together with them out on the road.
SueswayAcres is the life ring we needed during the stay-at-home order restrictions. They have been nothing but open and giving, going out of their way to make our visit as homey as possible. The amenities here are better than described in their profile: washer and dryer, fully enclosed and heated bathhouse, water/electric hookups, picnic table, campfire ring (over which we've shared dinner with them on more than one occasion), clothesline, and so much more. They and their three adorable dogs have become our friends and we hope to get the opportunity to meet them out on the open road.
The hosts are simply outstanding people who have welcomed us during a very uncertain time.
Gracious hosts who have let us stay through during the closures. True lifesavers!
Sue’s Way is an incredible couple who bent over backward to make us feel welcome during our stay. They’ve helped us deal with the quarantine and campground closures as we try to adjust to our new life as full timers. Their property rivals any campground and we’ve even enjoyed some (appropriately distanced) socializing over pizza and a bonfire. We hope to see them again. Amazing hosts!!
We spent a very comfortable and quiet night at Sue’s Away Acre. The hosts have provided a very nice spot for guests! Communication was great and it was so easy to park!
We wish we had had more time to get to know them better.
Such a welcoming experience for myself and my two pups. Not only do you have everything you could possibly imagine for a boondocking experience.. if we can even call it that.. the hosts are amazing people.

The list could seriously go on, and I'm sure I missed some things. This is a great stop to spend a few days. If the weather hadn't been getting so cold I would have certainly loved to stay longer. The hosts are incredible people. J is truly a jack of all trades (from homemade muffins to working literally anything) and S is one of the sweetest ladies I've met. I greatly enjoyed chatting with them. It's too bad the weather wasn't a tad nicer as I would have loved to have more time getting to know them. Thank you guys so much! Until we meet again, happy travels!
We had a great time at this place! We appreciated a quite night and had some nice talks with our hosts. The Picknick table, lights and fire place looked very lovely. Thank you very much again for your time and your care!
Our experience was beyond what we expected: instead of boondocking we had a really nice camping spot! The host was super welcoming, the ground was level and it was quiet and peaceful. We will be definitely coming back in the spring!
Our thanks go out to an amazing couple. This was our first boondocking experience and, wow, what a way to start! Beautiful home and property and they have really thought of everything one would need and more. The accommodations are terrific; large driveway and level parking, well lit, picnic table, great fire pit, great area for dogs. And, the awesome, enclosed, outdoor shower is the cherry on top. Far beyond that, This couple is just the best, their hospitality is unmatched. We so enjoyed getting to know them and are very grateful for these kind people. Nice to make new friends on the road. The host really helped this newbie out and I can’t thank him enough for what he did for me. We will definitely be back to see them next year!
This couple is amazing with amenities to match. We had nice evening conversation and a warm shower in the bath house. Level ground with plenty of room to roam and play. We would be more than happy to see and or stay with them again!
We had a great stay with SueswayAcres! The hosts are very friendly and have gone to great lengths to provide a location that is above the norm. There is a fully enclosed, heated outdoor shower that has both power and a mirror for blowdryers.
There is a firepit you can grill on and plenty of wood adjacent to a covered, lighted concrete patio! Awesome. We even did smores with the host one night which was fun for the kids. They also provide a garbage at the patio which is, again, a nice touch. Lots of thought went into this place and on top of all that, it's scenic with a adjacent farm and tall trees surrounding you in the distance.
This is by far the most comfortable place. The hosts are very hospitable and have made their camp area so inviting, firewood, charcoal, covered picnic table and if you can believe this... a beautiful hot shower house. Thank you both for making us feel so comfortable.
Pour notre première expérience , nous sommes comblés....
Accueil chaleureux , des gens gentils et très serviables.
Un barbecue, une douche, une table , de la lumière, de l’électricité, de l’eau, du calme ...
Rien à redire... la barre est très haute !
On recommande a 200000%
Merci sincèrement .
Our hosts were very accommodating for our last minute request. They met us and we were easily able to get into the site and set up. The outdoor shower was a great feature and it was nice to shower with some room! They are a lovely couple and we enjoyed talking with them in our arrival. They were nice enough to allow us to leave our camper there while checking out the area there following day and are allowing us to continue our stay another night. Would definitely recommend.
Jeff and Sue were superb hosts! Our 1st Boondockers Welcome stay exceeded our expectations!! Welcoming, helpful, warm shower, electric, great conversations and a lot of laughs!! Jeff has put a lot of thought into every detail to ensure travelers are comfortable!! They welcomed our behaved but spoiled little fur babies!! Would definitely return and recommend to fellow Boondockers!!!
An excellent place to spend some quiet time at night. Very nice setup for Boondocking. Friendly host and helpful with information.
We had a great time there. Loved the shower and the grill. Space was great for my dog too. Ride to the beach was easy. Would definitely stay again in the future.
This location was great. The host was very nice. They have electric and water for a small fee. They even have a shower outdoors. I highly recommend this host.
Beats walmart parking lot by light years. Very friendly, accommodating and helpful hosts. We were able to hook up to 30 amp and they have a shower house. This experience makes me want to reciprocate and become a host too. If only I had more than 1/3 acre.
We requested 5 nights and stayed 4 due to work obligations in VA. Our hosts were waiting our arrival and had a nice spot to park. They provided a board for leveling and a step to put in front of our step. After we set up, he informed us the new outdoor shower would be complete that evening and it was. A VERY NICE, REFRESHING SHOWER!
They were patient with our children and allowed our dog to free roam.
The view from the picnic table was a field with woods surrounding it. Daily we seen deer in the field. Beautiful and peaceful! We absolutely loved our stay at Suesway Acres and would love to stay again in the future.
Thank you so much for being such wonderful hosts. Your location is so peaceful and there were many things to do in the area. We had great chats and hope to meet you again someday for more of that. With lots of travel days ahead for us all, we're looking forward to hearing and sharing stories about the trips taken. Travel safe and hope you have tons of fun along the way. Cheers for now. This was our first stay with Boondockers Welcome and it was superb. Our hosts were friendly and very accommodating. Their spot is level, well kept, safe, quiet, you couldn’t ask for much more. We enjoyed watching the wildlife in the field. We appreciated the tips they provided on things to do and local places to eat. We enjoyed our stay very much and would recommend to anyone visiting this area.
Another wonderful Boondocking experience, staying at Jeff and Sue’s “Little piece of heaven “! Jeff and Sue are very helpful and welcoming to their guests! As a newbie to RV life, I have a ton of questions and Jeff is always available to answer those questions and figure out solutions to my RV dilemmas.… Special thanks to Jeff and Sue for being so willing to share their wonderful Homestead with the Boondocker’s Welcome world! Kathy
The hosts, Sue & Jeff, are everything a host should be! They are warm, receptive and very helpful! Their property is off the beaten path, private and extremely well maintained! It is close to a shopping area, Ocean City,MD, Assateague Island and many more adventure areas!
Jeff is very knowledgable, highly skilled and willing to share his expertise! Sue is very friendly and shares her knowledge of the nearby attractions!
While traveling the Delmarva Peninsula, be sure to make Sue's Way one of your boondocking destinations!
