Perfect stay with G&K. G supplied us with an air compressor for a leaky travel trailer tire. We would stay here again. They even gave us a travel bag of snacks with local foods for the rest of our trip.
They were SUPER accommodating and laid back. I had a little trouble finding the place but they even came out to the main road to find me.
Our puppy loved the large yard to run around in.
It was scorching hot, so the 50 amp service was a blessing.
Guy and his wife were unbelievably accommodating! Lots of open space with some cows nearby on the neighbors land. Even the neighbor came over to say hello to us. When we left they gave us a to go box of goodies!! Everything from the local area. So nice of them would love to stay again if passing through here!
The Thomases are such a warm and welcoming couple, we could swear they must have been B&B hosts in a previous life. Not only were we met and helped to park, we were offered full hookups with no expectation of payment (indeed, when we offered a small tip for 50 amp power Kathy put up a good fight . . . She only relented when I said she could give it to her church!). We were ALSO offered breakfast. We declined their gracious hospitality but Guy was not deterred. He drove to town and returned with 2 bakery cinnamon rolls, 2 large - like, 3’ long large - sticks of the local beef jerky, and two bags of the local potato chips - to keep us going on our drive. Our cat also loved being able to roam freely and hunt for mice in the tool shed - she probably would have stayed behind if we’d given her a choice. Thanks again, we hope to visit you another year and next time will hit the Churchill Museum!
The GOThomas were so accommodating. We had a great stay with them. the view from the top of their hill is very pastoral, the cows kept us company.. We wish covid was not part of our world. we would have liked to have a more personal visit had we not been social diatanceing.
