We really enjoyed our time at the Thomas home! The view watching the sunrise this morning was wide open and beautiful! They had available all the utilities, thankfully we only needed electric for the AC and water for one shower. They are very hospitable, and felt very safe in their neighborhood. If I (female) was traveling alone I would definitely stay again. Plenty of space to navigate on their property to enter, park and leave. We hope our paths cross again some day.
These guy’s rock, had a enjoyable time talking and socializing with them. Guy thank you for your service. If you are traveling through the area you need to stay with them we will definitely stay again. Thank you guys for being a BW Host. Tavel safe and I know the is Lord with you. Bob & Sue
GOThomas we very hospitable. Made our first boondockers welcome feel right a home. They
gave us some treats from the area and a handmade birdhouse.
Would definitely stay again if in the area, easy to find and gave great directions and had signs also.
We enjoyed our stay with the Thomas’ immensely. They were very welcoming to their porch for an evening visit while sipping on ice tea. Certainly appreciated the garden veggies offered. Upon our departure was given a goodie bag for the road. Included was a bird house handmade by the host commemorating our stay in Missouri. They were so thoughtful & hospitable. Couldn’t ask for better hosts.
Our family absolutely enjoyed our stay with GOThomas. These hosts were terrific and very accommodating to us. They are an easy drive from the interstate and even closer to Fulton MO, with many interesting sights. He had signs and stated one person had gotten lost (we used the google maps link in BW and it was correct as an FYI). We loved the American and USMC flag that greeted us upon arrival along with a host with a big smile. Being around such great patriots and fellow Christians provided us comfort on our travels. My only regret was that we were able only to stay one evening. Hopefully, we will be able to visit when we pass through again. Safe travels GOThomas and bless you and your family.
Perfect stay with G&K. G supplied us with an air compressor for a leaky travel trailer tire. We would stay here again. They even gave us a travel bag of snacks with local foods for the rest of our trip.
They were SUPER accommodating and laid back. I had a little trouble finding the place but they even came out to the main road to find me.
Our puppy loved the large yard to run around in.
It was scorching hot, so the 50 amp service was a blessing.
Guy and his wife were unbelievably accommodating! Lots of open space with some cows nearby on the neighbors land. Even the neighbor came over to say hello to us. When we left they gave us a to go box of goodies!! Everything from the local area. So nice of them would love to stay again if passing through here!
The Thomases are such a warm and welcoming couple, we could swear they must have been B&B hosts in a previous life. Not only were we met and helped to park, we were offered full hookups with no expectation of payment (indeed, when we offered a small tip for 50 amp power Kathy put up a good fight . . . She only relented when I said she could give it to her church!). We were ALSO offered breakfast. We declined their gracious hospitality but Guy was not deterred. He drove to town and returned with 2 bakery cinnamon rolls, 2 large - like, 3’ long large - sticks of the local beef jerky, and two bags of the local potato chips - to keep us going on our drive. Our cat also loved being able to roam freely and hunt for mice in the tool shed - she probably would have stayed behind if we’d given her a choice. Thanks again, we hope to visit you another year and next time will hit the Churchill Museum!
The GOThomas were so accommodating. We had a great stay with them. the view from the top of their hill is very pastoral, the cows kept us company.. We wish covid was not part of our world. we would have liked to have a more personal visit had we not been social diatanceing.
