Have you stayed at this host location?
Leave a reference for this hostWe have a little 40 acre ranch here where we go to escape the lights and noise of civilization. It's still a work in progress, but if you are truly looking for a place to boondock, you are welcome to come and visit! Boondocking location is at a house we recently bought, in the middle of our property, that we have not gotten around to fixing up yet so it is empty. (We live next door.) Lots of privacy, but the coyotes might be serenading you to sleep. We are 7 miles from Interstate 35, Exit 15 (Marietta).
We live here because it's quiet and dark, so please, no exterior lights or loud generators after 10 pm. Please keep dogs under control and do not approach the animals, unless we are present. No Smoking outside your vehicle. We may be able to fill water tanks or dump grey water, depending on the time of year or weather situation. Electric at site is fickle and will not run ac but should run a CPAP or something similar if needed.
We may be able to accommodate you for more than one night if you have plans in the area, but this is a safe place to sleep, Not a destination.
Tents Welcome. :)
We live on a gravel road with no room to turn a big rig around. You MUST be able to back your rig around a corner to get in or out.
LONG gravel drive but no place to turn a rig longer than about 30 feet around at.
We tend to be busy a lot of weekends, but if we know ahead of time we should be able to work something out.

Chris was a friendly and helpful host. The spot was secluded and safe. I had the best night sleep so far on my journey, surroundedby peaceful countryside. Property is near a nice state park with water access.
Would definitely stay again if I'm ever back this way!
