The location is just north of Goldendale WA is on the edge of the Simcoe Mountains. The site is as described, really quiet, and with zero light pollution. Great for stargazing if you get into one of the clearings. LAGreene was a gracious and friendly host.
Staying here you are surrounded by mostly Burr Oaks and Ponderosa Pines. There are some hiking trails to the north, accessible from tracks below the BPA power lines. The Maryhill Museum is highly recommended. We also hiked over in the Columbia Hills State Park, and along the Klikitat River to the west. The scenery around the Klikitat is spectacular.
This place was forested with Ponderosa Pine, Douglas For and But Oak. The understory was park like. The hills 10 miles to the south had numerous wind turbines. The only sound was the wind through the pine needles. The host was very pleasant. Would definitely stay there again.
Loved the location in the cool, pine forest!
The host met us and completely oriented us to the location to park and was a very gracious host. Where we parked had welcoming shade and was level. There was even a glider outside our door!
I would love to stay again in the future!
Quiet Place has been truly what the name portrays. A quiet restful place to stop on our way through. The mountain air was crisp and refreshing, the grounds are well kept and our hosts were friendly, welcoming and more than accommodating. We love making new friends!
We had a good time visiting with our friendly hosts & enjoying the sweeping view of the valley from their deck. We were parked among the trees & listened to the breezes. Very quiet & restful. Highly recommend.
Very welcoming host and accommodating. Great direction.
We enjoyed a visit on the deck with a beautiful view
Thanks again for a great time in the woods in a quiet place.
This is a great place to stay and the Host is warm and caring.
This is our 2nd stay with this Host. Look forward to refreshing ourselves again in the future!

We loved our stay so much. Lucille and Alfred were wonderful hosts. The trees were beautiful and it was very peaceful. We visited in our 34' Class A and there was plenty of room. We will definitely stay again if we're ever back this way.
The LAGreene hosts were very helpful and accommodating at their beautiful property. Quiet and restful under the trees. Will definitely stay again when in the area.
With Covid-19 restrictions still in place in Oregon & Washington, it was very difficult for us to find a place to stay as were heading north on Hwy 97. We feel so grateful to members of Boondockers Welcome and belong to a community of such gracious host - like LAGreene. Her and her brother welcomed us when arrived....and even came out to say good-bye (even though we getting on the road at 8:00 am on a Sunday). Very nice level site under the trees with a beautiful view from their deck. We will definitely be back!
This is without a doubt the best Boondockers Welcome location we have stayed at. The host is wonderful and opens her home to her guests in a very beautiful location. The trees, the quiet, it’s amazing. Take a few days and experience this location. I will be back to it for sure
The host was wonderful and I truly enjoyed my stay. Caught up on my sleep and accomplished so much while there. Beautiful property!
Quiet and pleasant.Road fine for my 31 ft class A.

Loved meeting our host and the positive experience. Slept until 10am two days and that is unusual for me. Normal rise time is 4:30am. Will stay here again. Lovely location outside of Town.
What a beautiful spot, perfect end to a long day. It truly is quiet here. I got here just in time to watch the sunset, slept soundly, and then I watched the sun come up and light the property while having my coffee.
I was so thankful for LAGreene's prompt response on a short notice stay. Her directions were awesome and very specific. I arrived at dusk and had to leave early but the property and area look amazing. Would love to explore at a later date.
We stayed one night at Quiet Place on our way home from the Grand Canyon. Lucille is a very gracious host. She was extremely busy when we arrived with numerous projects on the go getting ready for winter yet she made lots of time for us. Her entry road was being regraded so it was a bit rough but we had no problem towing our 25 ft trailer up it. There is lots of space but it can require a bit of planning depending on how comfortable you are backing up and turning your unit. We are 48 ft overall and had no issues. We would definitely stay with her again.
Lucille's Quiet Place is exactly that - a lovely quiet place fairly high up with a great view. Lucille is a gracious hostess who made sure everything was "right" for our stay. We were only able to stay one night. However, we will certainly look forward to staying at this "Quite Place" again soon - for a longer stay.
We had a nice stay here. It’s a quiet spot on a big hill in the woods, but close to town.
Our hosts were very accommodating and we hope to visit again soon.
We spent several days and enjoyed the hospitality of our host as well as the quiet solitude and beauty of the property and surrounding areas. We enjoyed relaxing conversations with our host and her brother who was visiting, in the deck overlooking the valley and gorge area
Definitely would enjoy another visit next year if we are in the area
Quiet Place is the right name for this stay. So peaceful!! This host is so kind and generous! Loved our visiting with the host!!
Stayed here for four days and my stay was quiet which is what I wanted
Got to enjoy an awesome thunder and lighting storm (bonus for me)
LAGreene was very hospitable and Lucy was friendly as well (her cat)
Thank you again
We spent 3 great nights at "Quiet Place" and explored the Columbia River Gorge during the day. We sat and had lengthy talks with our friendly hostess each evening on her deck while enjoying a wonderful view of the valley below. This was the quietest place we stayed in our 5 weeks on the road. Wonderful visit, Mike and Pat
We had a lovely overnight stay at Quiet Place. Our host was very gracious and allowed us to walk around the peaceful property. Our spot was a pull-through which enabled us to stay hitched. It was level front to back but needed a level on one side. It was the quietest place we have ever had our RV and the most peaceful night we've slept.
There are a number of reasons why I enjoyed my stay at the Quiet Place. For one, it truly is a peaceful & quiet place to visit and I found the Host especially kind and welcoming.
Wonderful view. Great space. And the hostess is amazing! Make sure to have a conversation with her
We stayed only one night, but it was definitely a quiet, and beautiful place to stay. Our host greeted us as we drove in, showed us where to stay, chatted with us while we admired the view toward the Columbia from her deck, and sent us off on our way to an event in town we were attending that evening. We slept well in the peaceful surroundings, and enjoyed visiting with our host.
Beautiful location close to the Columbia River. Lucille was awesome doing the heavy lifting to help get our trailer level. Good T-Mobile service. Plenty of room. We would stay here again.
