I love living here. Details: I am from NE (New England, nowhere near London, England 🙃) I have lived in Goldendale for 17 years. I have traveled across and around the country several times. I do not use campgrounds. I am a quiet person usually keeping to myself. I like to read, knit, sew. Home Town: At Home Favorite Boondocking Locations: Rest Areas; in a family or friend’s driveway. I just learned this is called ‘Moochdocking’ 😂 Skills or Expertise to Share: I have many and am learning more as time passes; I know how to wash dishes, do laundry, rake leaves, shovel snow, etc Ask, I will tell you what I know.

We needed a place to stay one night then leave the trailer for 3 nights. This was perfect. Right on our route. But most importantly our host was fabulous. Greeted us on our arrival. We played games together that evening. Enjoyed the company. Overall the best experience. We have a new friend too.

The host was so gracious. She was at the end of the driveway and greeted us on arrival and told us where to go. The other reviewers are a bit inaccurate about the street and road. It is a steep incline on the main highway coming into the area since she lives in a higher elevation area. The road is paved all the way to where her driveway begins so it is a short distance on the dirt road. Host is amazing. Enjoyed staying and visiting with her a bit.

lovely welcoming host. access off of hanging rock road was narrow and curvy. we sat wild turkeys, deer and squirrels. A nice place after highway travel.
