We live on ~2.25 acres that is secluded, quiet, safe & peaceful. There's a creek along one side and we're near the end of the dead end street. We see deer most days, see & hear Red Shouldered and Broad Winged Hawk, and hear Barred owls regularly.
These sites (2) will be on my lawn or one of the dirt spots I have. They may be soft and unsuitable for large heavy rigs. If you are in a large and/or heavy rig or want hook ups please reserve my other spot "1- Lexington Hideaway" just click on my profile and there are links to both my spots. Please fully read the "Access Road Conditions" section. Parking will be based on softness, your rig and where you want to park. These sites can be in the shade all day. We may be able to park you close enough to get water using a very long hose, but probably not power.
Pets - Cats that stay inside are ok. For dogs we don't want to take any chances with your dog/s and we will do a controlled meet and greet with our dogs. We have 2 dogs. Our 1st is ~14 year old rescue that likes to mother hen other dogs at first. She relaxes after a little bit of monitoring as long as energy levels are kept low. Our 2nd dog is a Border Collie, at first PLEASE DO NOT throw whatever he brings you. This helps keep energy levels low for our 1st dog. He'll chase it all day and doesn't know when to stop. He becomes a nuisance by putting it in the way and/or being under foot.
There are a half dozen places to dump tanks near by. The 2 that I've been to but never dumped at are Love's truck stop 11 miles away at 340 Longs Pond Rd, Lexington, SC 29073. 2nd is Barnyard campground ~5 miles away at 201 Oak Dr., Lexington, SC 29073. I think they're both $10. I stayed at Barnyard for three weeks in March 2020 The spot I was in was big and could easily have fit to campers in it. We have room in our trash can for a kitchen sized trash bag if needed. We also have a large recycling can you can use, there's a big sticker on the lid that shows what can go in it. It's ok if you spend nights away while you rig is here.
Would love help and/or suggestions on how to make our sites and listings better.

Paved 2 lane road narrows to a gravel road, driveway entrance is narrow and may be difficult to exit with a large 5th wheel or RV while towing. The largest trailer I've gotten in and out of my driveway was my 35' bumper pull Toy Hauler (pictured) and it was tight. As for 5ers I've had a 30' make it, I'm not sure a 35' would make the tight 90 degree turn out onto the street. I've had a 40' Class A make it while towing a Chevy spark on a tow dolly. Class A & C if you're pulling a tow dolly or other trailer I can use my truck (with 2", 2 5/16" tow balls) or tractor with 2" tow ball to move it without the vehicle on it, so it doesn't have to moved by hand. We have plenty of room to park additional vehicles and trailers.
Near your rig, also have room to park additional vehicles if needed.
I've added a BoonDockers information box (mailbox) that has local flyers, brochures, things to do magazines, state maps and such for you to look through. If you go somewhere please grab a flyer for the next guest and leave it in the mail box. I also have a composition/guest book to sign and/or give local reviews/recommendations of local places you've been. Within a few miles there is Walmart, Target, World Market, Starbucks, 4 grocery stores, restaurants, Fast food, Lowe's, Home Depot, TSC (cheapest place I've found to refill Propane), Hobby Lobby and tons of other places to go. Multiple gas stations with diesel. I'm a bit new to the area so I'm not really that up to speed yet on what is around. Lake Murray is 3.5 miles away, public boat launch ~6 miles away. Riverbanks Botanical Garden, Riverbanks Zoo & Garden, Columbia Canal and Riverfront Park, South Carolina State Museum, The Congaree National Park Harry Hampton Visitor Center.
mrpc is a gracious host, and Lexington Hideaway is a beautiful site with fireflies and peace and quiet. I spent a safe and lovely last night on my way home after 4 weeks traveling the eastern seaboard. Although I had to leave early, we were able to have a very pleasant conversation the night before. I can definitely recommend!
We enjoyed this spot, we came back on our travels south!
I highly recommend this spot and host.
Very glad to get to make a second stop here as we travel back southbound.
I highly recommend this location and host.
Very friendly host and nice site.
Host greeted us and we had great conversation. Property is beautiful.
Great location for the town of Cadillac, low noise, and as advertised, a great place to stock up. We enjoyed the convenience of Walmart, Aldi, Starbucks, and Dollar Tree, all walking distance. There is more as well.
