Have you stayed at this host location?
Leave a reference for this hostThis is not a fancy destination by any means. We have a driveway available for anyone who needs an overnight or a quick break from the road! We live on a main road, and there is traffic noise, but in this rural location - it is quite quiet after about 8:00 pm. We have a small fenced in yard that your pets could play in, but smaller dogs could escape through panel gaps. There are a half a dozen bird feeders on the property, so you could watch birds with your morning coffee!
Generators cannot run all night (for the neighbor's sake). Wifi is available for standard use, but no streaming please (we have to pay per gig due to rural internet options). If the internet usage spikes, we will know that streaming is occurring and will let you know we will be shutting off the hotspot. (We hate this more than you do!!)
Driveway is off of a main, paved road at a flat location.
The driveway is a double-driveway. The RV can park on one side, the tow-vehicle on the other. If two RVs are coming, there is another driveway about .2 miles away that the tow-vehicles could park at (and we could drive you back down to the campers).
Everything is off-street.
We both work from home. Virtually any dates we are available or can make arrangements for someone to greet you if we are not home.
Any attractions are likely 30-45 minutes away: Erie, Warren (Allegheny National Forest), Titusville (Drake Well Museum), Meadville, etc...
This site is near Eire, Pennsylvania. Friendly hosts, country setting.
We approached the site from Meadville, PA, off I-79. Google maps gave two routes, US 6 or State 77. We took 77 - a mistake. Hilly, curvy, bumpy, hard to navigate in the dark. Posted speed limit of 55 was too fast for our feeling of safety, had cars piling up behind us. Take US 6!
Short driveway. 28 feet.
Nearest Walmart is 4 miles.
