Christina Lake comes alive in the summer with vacationers. With the clear warm water of the lake there are many water sports available, if only to laze about at the beach or on the water on a floaty. There is a place locally where you can rent SUPs, bikes, kayaks, canoes, motor boats etc. There are many hiking and biking trails throughout the area, including the Great Trail (formerly known as the Trans Canada Trail), or hike the nearby Cascade Gorge. For golfers there is Christina Lake Golf Course (18 hole championship course designed by Les Furber), and the Cascade Par 3 course (9 hole), and even a mini-golf course for family fun. Other activities include horseback riding, bird watching & wildlife. Visit ChristinaLake.ca for more detailed information about the area.
Thank Goodness for the Flatlanders! And Boondockers Welcome! We were having a heck of a time finding a place to park our rig for the night, but these folks came through for us with only a few hours' notice AND they weren't even home. Great spot, very clean and tidy, thanks so much "guys".
We were warmly welcomed by our hosts, toured their garden, and had a quiet night.
Highly recommended! Thanks...
Thank you Flatlanders for making us feel so welcomed. Our 1st Boondocking experience turned out to be so relaxing & enjoyable ! Highly recommended !
The Flatlanders were great hosts - good communication, wonderful home & an easy to access spot to park. They as so close to the lake it's only a short walk or bike ride away. We were treated to a cozy fire in thier gorgeous back yard and enjoyed the company of their AirBnB guests. We would definately recommend Christine Lake Interlude!
Gail and her husband were our first Boondockers Welcome hosts and what a wonderful experience! From providing information on local hikes, offering water and WIFI to sharing their amazing backyard...we couldn’t of asked for more. Thanks again!
