Our back yard is entirely paved but steep. if snow is in the forecast (rare) we would be inaccessible. We can close the driveway gate after your arrival so your well behaved dog can be safely contained in yard. You will be in close proximity to our friendly neighbours. We are located in a small (pop 1600) town on the west coast of Vancouver Island. We are a short 15 min walk to downtown restaurants and shops. We have lived here for 30 years and have a wealth of local knowledge about what to do and where to go.

House Rules

Please arrive before dark. Clean up after your pet.

Access Road Conditions

We have parking for 1 class B RV or truck camper. We have a steep, paved driveway to a level concrete parking spot in our back yard. It would be good to arrive in daylight hours as you will be backing up the drive. Low vehicles with long overhang behind wheels will not likely make the transition to driveway without dragging bumper.

Good thing in a small package

Only room for a van or truck camper, but Ukeejohn are wonderful hosts and we truly enjoyed their hospitality. Backing up the driveway is reminiscent of an amusement park ride but leads to a nice private spot to spend the night. They graciously provided some free herbs from their garden and gave some great tips on sights in the area. Thank you for opening up your back yard to us.
