Fred. is a great guy… His wife is very nice… One of his dogs Duke took me for a walk… My stomach was upset at about 11 o'clock at night and I texted him and he came to my RV with some stomach medicine so that should just sum it all up for anybody who goes there… Electricity. Wi-Fi… And a great attitude… What else can you ask for? I'll be back to go golfing with him on the way home
After an unusual number of travel challenges, Solarman stayed in touch and provided good directions for final leg, getting us to his place when Google couldn't. Open area off main roads hosted by interesting, helpful couple. Ideal club members here.
They were great hosts. Very communicative from accepting request right up to when we arrived. Solarman met us at the entry to his property and gave us several choices for set up. His two dogs were great ambassadors. Solarman hung out with us (his wife was not home) for awhile and we shared a lot of personal and humorous stories. (with appropriate Social Distance protocols). If we ever pass this way again, we definitely will request to stop here again. Grounds were nice, private and quiet. It’s a bit tight for a big rig but my No Bo 19 trailer had no problem maneuvering.
What gracious hosts. Solarman met us at the entrance to his property and led us back to our spot. It was easy and fun to talk with him and his wife. They gave us great tips about where to wander in the neighborhood. Really appreciated the electric hook up and the great hospitality!
But solar man was still very kind and kept in contact offering us other days to come visit. It was a rainy day when we were suppose to head up to stay but solarman let us know I might have trouble getting up a hill while he was doing construction to improve the roads. He did email us after to see if we found a place to stay which we did. Always appreciate a host that goes above and beyond to welcome other RVers. Thank you solar man, maybe we shall meet in the future. I do want to go to a DUKE game soon!
