We live in a small to medium size town in Colorado. We have a flat gravel driveway which can accommodate a small RV.

We can provide 20 amp electrical hookup. We will allow limited use of a generator - 1 hour per day.

We will allow cats and quiet dogs, but we do not have a fenced yard.

House Rules

No smoking on property.

Access Road Conditions

Access is on paved city streets and county roads. The roads are flat.

The public road in front of our house is narrow 2 lane road, so maneuvering longer rigs into our driveway can be a little tricky.

Tow Vehicle Parking Details

We have a fairly long flat driveway, so there is quite a bit of space for parking on our driveway.

The reason we limit the length of the RV to 30' is the difficulty in maneuvering into our driveway from the public street in front of our house.

Long motorhomes with a toad might need to disconnect in order to access our driveway.

The tow vehicle parking would be in our gravel driveway. It would be in front or behind the RV.

We would generally have a site available except for the months of April, May, September and October.

Longmont, CO, United States of America

Suggested Local Attractions

Rocky Mountain National Park is about a one hour drive away.

The town of Boulder Colorado is about a 20 minute drive away.

Great hosts

We stopped here after a long day of driving in the heat. We were welcomed "warmly"and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Wendy and Steve gave us some great local info. Would love to return the favor. Would love to stop back by.

So nice people, we had a great time. Warm warm welcome they offered us so many facilities and helped us in so many ways. We still have no words to say how grateful we are. The kids loved to staying over there. They are very welcome anytime in France and we will be very happy to see them again!

Wonderful people

Two of the nicest people you could ever wish to meet. I was on a trip visiting family on weekends and camping in the mountains during the week, and they were gracious enough to let me leave my trailer there on the weekends. They have a wonderful location (and a very wide driveway which made it easy to back the trailer in). He even found me the best route to take to my daughter's house avoiding Friday afternoon traffic (no small feat in the Denver area). This is my first experience with Boondockers Welcome, and it could not have been more positive. Thank you!

The perfect host!

If you want a host who is hospitable, interesting, and a jack of all trades, this is the place to go. He has a large workshop with a collection of antiques, plus a RoadTrek which is the same age as ours and also kept in this shed. Also has water, electric, and bathroom facilities. This couple were so helpful in offering their in house shower and also invited us to join them for "Happy Hour". Don't know what else you could ask for so makes a perfect Boondocker site!

Wonderful fun hosts

We had a wonderful experience staying with Steve and Wendy. They are a fun couple that were extremely accommodating. They offered us anything we needed and gave us information and recommendations on the area, as well as for future travel destinations. They are in close proximity to Rocky Mountain National Park, Arapahoe, and Boulder. We went on a beautiful local hike with them that they recommended. Steve was even nice enough to try to fix our refrigerator for us, which unfortunately has not been working properly. It was a pleasure getting to know the two of them and touring the area. If we are ever back in the area, we would absolutely visit or stay with them again.

Place to stay in the Rockies foothills...

stevewendyrt Wendy and Steve were gracious enough to allow me to stay at their home / driveway. Good people and easy to talk to especially if you ply them with a bottle of wine! Thank-you both for your hospitality, Dave ;-) Ps we'll be back. ;-)
