Many local places to go swimming. Long Pond in Cornish is free and a great place as it has a shallow water for a long distance for kids safety. Plenty of sites to see. Cathredral Pines is a great free place in North Conway,New Hampshire. You can go to Portland, maine and take the mailboat out for $15.00 each for seniors. It goes out for 3 hours every day in morning and afternoon. You get to get off on one island for half an hour for coffee.2X's a day. Its awesome way to spend the day in Portland. I love Dimillo's floating resturant right down the street from the mail boat access> It's actually a sea tanker rehabbed into a restaurant. I love going on the top deck and watch all the boats and cruise ships coming and going. You can sit and eat there! So much to see in Maine and New Hampshire! I can't put it all in here! Bay Haven here in Town has awesome Seafood!

You have to drive in the field. It used to be gardens ,but as long as you go slow it is fine. All grass covered. one end is a little rough from rows being formerly plowed, but there is enough area you don't have to go there.
We have a field that tow vehicles can be parked in or they can park beside of their RV

We had a very good time with the Hosts! These are the kind of people that make this whole system so fantastic.
Very warm and welcoming and helpful. Have loved staying here!
Hosts are such great peeps! I needed to stay an extra day and they were happy to accommodate. Very grateful. If you say “yum yum” their sweet little dogs will come running!!! It means they’re getting a treat! Highly recommend this host.
Enjoyed two nights at this location. Friendly hosts with a nice private field to park in. Enjoyed touring the area and would definitely stay again. Charming little town.
Nestled in a former garden field on the Ossipee Trail near the border of NH, Packratphyl and her husband have created a perfect place for boondockers to stay. Easy in, easy out, I brought a 42’ 5th wheel onto the plush green grass with no problem at all. Phyl, Hosts were very warm and welcoming folks. Will definitely stay here again!
We had a great time, enjoyed a harbor cruise, fall colors, and lobster! All within an hour's drive. Maine is complete!
Stayed for three nights. Very quiet place to relax. Thanks for the recommendation for the mailboat run and some local restaurants. Enjoyed meeting some locals at the breakfast club.
This was the perfect Maine retreat. Our host was amazingly generous with their space and time. We have rarely felt more welcome. As a bonus, this was such an easy location to pull into and out of! This was a charming town, and a brilliant base camp from which to visit Portland, Cape Elizabeth, Ogunquit/Wells, and similar points of interest. We look forward to meeting again in the future!
We were greated by our host and chatted a bit. Good tips on area eats and enjoyed one she mentioned. We were out sightseeing the days there and loved the Mailboat Run ferry that she told us about. Able to talk with her husband also before we left. Such a nice couple and safe area to use as a base .
I had a really sweet 3 night stay here in Maine and the hosts were awesome. Nice field to park in and a beautiful river about a hundred yards through the woods behind the field. I hope I get a chance to come again...
Great spot. Quiet and peaceful. Our hosts welcomed us and got us parked. We used our stop to see. Portland, the white mountains, the coast to York and lake winnipesaukee. We were centrally located between them all! A Big thank you to our hosts for allowing us to spend an extra day. They offered us to stay longer if we had liked! THANKS
Friendly hosts with 2 small adorable dogs. Out here you will find a large field and serenity. The road is close by but it is heaven. On their recommendation we did the mailboat tour out of Portland. So worth it.
We had a nice, comfortable stay with packratphyl. Parking is in a field with trees forming a barrier between it and the highway reducing the road noise. Spots are level and easy to maneuver around. We were able to leave our tow car hooked to the motorhome as the turnaround area was large enough to manage. Due to rain we didn't have the chance to socialize with packratphyl as much as we would have liked to but did enjoy the brief conversation we had with them.
We enjoyed our brief stay with a neat couple full of life with challenging future plans for their property at a age when most are ready step back and take it easy. It was great to share lunch and to talk about their future travels with their LazyDaze motorhome. We would definitely stay with P and T if we are in the area again.
