If you want hookups and access to the fenced yard, you'll be parked in my driveway. You will need to back down the drive to access water or electric. I'm on an acre, in a small rural, neighborhood . It's a one road in and out of the neighborhood , so there is limited traffic and provides a good place for a walk to stretch out those legs either on arrival or to get going in the morning.
This is a neighborhood, there are young children here so that means quiet time by 9 pm and school buses run early here.
We will need to share the fenced yard, and we can make those arrangements when you arrive.
Just off state Hwy 80, and County Rd 355, paved street in a neighborhood that accommodates an 18 wheeler.
I own an empty lot across from my home that is available if needed.
This spot is 35 miles from FDR State Park, Callaway Garden....26 miles to historic district in Columbus which offers many great restaurants and breweries.
I needed to cancel my trip due to the pandemic and was really fortunate to find and be able to stay at this great, wide open boondocking location. The host was so kind and generous with her time when I arrived. I hope to get back down to Georgia at some point in the future and be able to spend more time with the host and seeing more of the park.
Every thing at pickle park started and ended well. Our host was available and helpful. If you stay at this park you can expect to hear the sound of freedom (USArmy). No problem getting our 33' travel trailer in and out.
This was our 1st stay at a Boondockers Welcome site and it was better than we could have imagined. SandraLupo was very helpful and friendly and our family enjoyed getting to know her. She was very quick to answer all the questions we had before we arrived and was there to meet us even though we got in later in the evening than expected. She helped us get our 5th wheel hooked up and even gave us some pointers about where to visit in town. We couldn't have asked for a better host or a better experience....thanks SandraLupo!
We had a great time at Pickle Park! Great location and easy parking spot. The host was wonderful and allowed us to connect to power for our stay. Nice, peaceful stop over, we highly recommend this host if you’re in the area.
It was easy to park and level, plenty of room around you, quiet, and peaceful. Such a sweet host, even gave me some garlic chive bulbs to add to my herb potted garden.
SandraLupo was super welcoming. She responded promptly & provided detailed information about location and where to park. Since I was towing I used the "pull-through" option in her mostly level boondocking area. She warned me about the possibility of nightime artillery fire from the army base but I didn't hear anything and slept well. Thanks!
This was our first stay at a Boondockers Welcome Host property, and it was very good. Nice even driveway, easy to get to. Sandra was super nice. She gave us some garlic chives to hang and use for cooking (yum). We look forward to staying there again in the future.
Sandra was beyond generous with sharing her home. I loved seeing her Airstream. Right up my alley. She's a wonderful cook which I didn't expect a meal but it was much appreciated. I enjoyed her 4 little dogs with so much personality. Lovely neighborhood to walk around. Couldn't have been a better host!!
From the moment we arrived at Pickle Park, we felt welcome by our host just as we knew another from old times.
We had very good conversations and laughs and felt super comfortable. We can only recommend this place and hope to welcome S. at our home in the future.
It's a very quiet place and we slept very well. Thank you Sandra for your warm welcome. Your dogs are cute.
The property has plenty of room and a very friendly hostess. The only distraction (for some - not us) were all the animals in the neighborhood. A great stay
