It was a pleasurable stay. Highly recommended!
This was our first stay at a Boon dockers welcome.
Great location the owners are very nice and spent some time talking with this morning very comfortable place.
I will be back when I can send a few days.
We loved our visit. A nice quiet space with pleasants hosts and a chance to share RV wisdom (ours is new) theirs based on years of experience. They provided informing brochures and a Magazine to help us get familiar with the area. Both Grass Valley and Nevada City are a charm as was the Empire Mining Historic Site. We enjoyed our time and conversations with the hosts while knocking down pesky bugs with zapper wands —- which we is now on our shopping list.
FYI: We’re sorry for the late review as I’m sure (hard to be totally sure at my age) that I left a review the day we left. Must not have pressed the right “send” button. Technology!!!
Their property was perfect and comfy. I was greeted as I drove in and shown options of where to park. Noteworthy was my request for a "science class" on how my refrigerator in being cold, worked through the heat of propane, of which I try and learn about the workings of my Jamboree, which was great! Overall, it was a great and quiet stay with a helpful and very likable couple, and I look forward to being in the area again to stay with them.
Perfect spot for an overnight stay. If we were towing a vehicles would have loved to go to the downtown area which was near by. The hosts were welcoming, full of knowledge and hospitable. We will definitely stay there again when passing through! The crickets were beautiful at night, the wild turkeys were funny in the morning. Very charming.
The hosts were very fun to visit with and the hospitality was amazing. I definitely would love to come back whenever I’m in the area. Thank you so much!
Our stay was perfect. We're new to driving a trailer and he helped us back in perfect and taught us some new tricks!. Thank you so much for the advice and letting us stay.
It was so so peaceful here away from the bustle of the city! And it smells SO good (just the air...maybe towering ponderosa pines!)
I was so happy to get some time with C & C! Great laughs, GREAT conversation and.... caffeine 😅😂🎉🙏 (oh, and I SO learned a few things!!!)
I cannot tell you how grateful I am for the time here- I was able to REALLY explore & get a feel for Grass Valley and Nevada City....this area is AMAZING!
The location was lovely among the tall pines. We had shade most of the day with the exception being ‘high noon-ish”. Grass Valley has a quaint & vibrant downtown and attractions for most everyone. We were there during the fair! We enjoyed ourselves!
The hostess was quick to respond to all my requests and she welcomed me as I drove in. Her partner came out to meet me and connected the power to my motorhome. They were friendly and helpful regarding local attractions. Don't miss the Empire Mine SP tour. The site was level and easy to back into. I had only requested 1 night, but there were so many things to do in the area I asked to stay an additional night. It was a very enjoyable time and I would stay here again.
