Close to some of the best fishing charters on the Kenai Peninsula. Situated almost halfway between the Kenai River and Homer, Alaska. About 45 - 50 minutes either way. The land is on the bluff overlooking Deep Creek. Fishing access is at the mouth of the river 2 miles away. Catch and release for salmon and steelhead at the property since it is spawning grounds directly below the bluff. Dolly Vardens are keepers. Lots of eagles to watch and directly across the inlet from volcanos, Illiamna, Redoubt, and Spur. Picnic table, and bbq grill are under a protected canopy. Outhouse available. Some tent spaces available along driveway.
No smoking. No cigarette butts on grounds. Haul trash out. Do not try to burn cans or bottles in the fire pit. Please abide by forestry burning regulations. Make sure you have extra water jug or a fire extinguisher handy when using the fire pit. Also, please make sure all embers are cold when you leave. No generators after midnight or before 7 am. Wild animals may wander through camp...please leave them alone and do NOT leave trash, food, or coolers outside. Please do not clean fish, game, or clams on the property since there is no way to wash those bear attractants away. Use public docks for that. Leave it as pristine as you found it so everyone can enjoy this beautiful spot. Most of all, have fun.
Compacted dirt road with a tight right turn onto the driveway. I can make it in my 36' Class A with the toad attached, but it is tight, so use caution. Main road leading into the property is packed dirt/gravel for about a mile. Wide enough for 2 RVs to carefully pass one another.
Tow vehicle must be disconnected from RV.
We are in Alaska through the end of August, but may not be at camp. Feel free to give us a shout to see if we can accomodate your request.
Local fishing charters, hiking, Homer wildlife sanctuary, Kenai River, claming at Clam Gulch. 3 hour drive to Seward and a 4 1/2 hour drive from Anchorage.
Welcomed upon arrival and given space overlooking a creek with views of mountains! Loved watching eagles soar above. Even saw a cow moose on our way in. Great Alaska experience. Our 40’ Class A fit just fine, though we drove the toad separately from the highway.
We had a wonderfull stay! Unfortunately, the owner was not there (we were informed) but a friend welcomed us! We could use the fire wood and enjoyed a magnificent sunset over the river and view over the Volcano's!
Thank you so much for staying!
Nice quite and beautiful spot right on the bluff with great views of the mountains and volcanos along with bald eagle and moose sightings. Big thanks to our host who has a wonderful place and allowed us to stay for 5 days and more if we liked. We will be sure to stop by again if we are in the area.

We enjoyed staying high on the bluff. Close to Deep Creek and the ocean. Hope to meet our host another time.
Great location near Homer. Thanks so much for such a wonderful location!
Sitting on the edge, looking at the creek and the bald eagles, a moose just past us behind and stayed for a while on your property.
We had a wonderful time here, so quiet and peaceful.
We have been to Homer, to the museum, and visited the Russian settlements and the village Ninilchik.
We had a good time with all the bald Eagles while we visited Anchor Beach
Thank you very much
