Young children and pets must be supervised at all times. Our dog Shadow loves children and is exceptionally gentle with everything except cats. If your cat is left unsupervised around Shadow, the cat is at risk.

Cash crop farm with beautiful sunsets Details: We are a working cash crop farm of about 1000 acres producing corn, soya, wheat, and hay Our recently built home is on the hillside with a newly planted permaculture “food forest” and a man made pond. We love to travel in our Lance slide in, whenever the farm schedule permits. We spent eight winters in SouthTexas in a fifth wheel, but have given that up. We can’t bear being away from the grandkids that long. Home Town: St Bernard de Lacolle is well situated for visiting the region around Montreal, Quebec; or Northeast NY state and Vermont. It sits right on the Canada/US border where Rte 15 and I87 meet at the border. We are 3 km off Rte 15. Parc Safari is just up the road, and there are many orchards, vineyards, and golf clubs in the immediate area. Favorite Boondocking Locations: Beaches in South Texas Cape Breton Island, NS Newfoundland Any quiet spot in a woods or by water Skills or Expertise to Share: Jack of all trades. Being farmers we have lots of stories and experiences just from that part of our lives. Add to that eight years of driving to Texas, several trips across Canada, and our previous careers; there is always something to talk about, and a story to tell. We love to listen, too!

We couldn't have found a better setting for the eclipse. Our stay with Kathy and Dennis (and dog Shadow) will go down as one of the best BW experiences we're had. We stayed there for 3 days and saw the eclipse right from their yard.

Stayed one night in our 25’ sprinter van. Very friendly hosts showed us where we could pick to park - with or without electric 15amp - solid grass area that was fairly flat, our levellers had no trouble. Quiet farm very close US border crossing. Our dog had lots of fun playing with the host dog, as well as swimming in the pond. Great place to stay!

We had a great stay at this secluded little spot. Our host Kathy and her dog Shadow were very welcoming… we travelled to the area to take in a concert in Montreal and then boondocked for a couple of nights. We found peace and quiet, a level site and a beautiful area.

i stayed at 170 Glass Hill for a few days before returning to the US and it was the perfect end to several months traveling Canada. the host is immediately responsive, incredibly helpful on arrival and throughout stay, should you need anything. this is the first BW stay that i’ve experienced that one can park out in an open area and still have 15 amp power, which was a big plus. it snowed while i was there. the property is huge. there are trails through woods, and the area is beautiful, pastoral farmland. what i enjoyed most was getting to know the host over coffee. i would definitely return and highly recommend!

Stopped there before heading into USA, host was great, met with us, friendly dog, couple chicken, short trail in the woods.
