By requesting a stay with us you accept the Donation Policy per the Admin letter to BW membership of June 8, 2018. The following is a direct quote by Boondockers Welcome regarding power usage:
"Donation Guidelines for Guests:
If a host hasn't requested payment and you've used AC or heating, (offer $5 to $10 per night depending on the size of your rig). Offer $3 to $5 per night - especially if you stayed more than one night - if your electric use was minimal.”
Paved 2 lane country road to our driveway, but you will need to back into (arriving) or out of (departing) my driveway.
The RV spot has a slight slop so the longer your rig the more you may want to block it. Plenty of parking for the tow vehicle.
20 minutes to University of Oregon in Eugene, public golf 2 miles away.
We really liked this host and location. It was so close to I-5. We had a great time talking with our hosts. If you are in the area consider staying here. We highly recommend this host.
Staying with Paul and Brenda could not have been better. Loved Linda’s laughter and Paul’s humor. Always there if I needed something, gifted me with fresh vegetables, welcomed my dog, visited with me and Paul entertained me by playing a few games of cribbage. Stay with these wonderful people. You will not regret it. Good location, quiet location with good neighborhood to walk your dog.
We had a hard time driving away from this one. Such a warm welcome, effortless conversation, friendly pets and comfortable space - just not enough time spent here. P+B will see us again...maybe as neighbors?! Thank you for everything!
Enjoyed visiting sitting outside around the fire pit with the hosts, beautiful area beautiful home. Beautiful dog and cat.
Our 2 night stay with PaulBrenda was quite a treat. These hosts are genuine and truly the kindest people! PaulBrenda met us on arrival and helped us back into their driveway. No problem with a 37 ft fifth wheel. PaulBrenda gave us a great suggestion on where to take our paddle boards out. Eugene was a quick 15 minute drive and you have many options of where you can enjoy water activities. When we come back down the west coast, we would most certainly visit with this BW host again! Five stars, all around.
This was our first experience & it was awesome! Short lived really! We would have loved to stay longer! PaulBrenda are amazing humans with some great stories to tell! We would love to come back!
Paul and Brenda have a beautiful home in the countryside. Paul expertly guided me into his driveway, for which I am very thankful because I’m a real klutz at backing up my travel trailer. (I would have spent at least one hour doing so on my own.)
I enjoyed meeting and petting two nice dogs there: Sydney belongs to Paul and Brenda, and Cubby belongs to one of their relatives. Both dogs barked only once when I arrived, so they are well behaved and very friendly.
In the evening Paul invited me over to his cozy home for a chat. I met his friendly wife Brenda, and together the three of us talked a lot about their pets and our travels. A most enjoyable evening, and one of the very best features of Boondockers Welcome: telling travel stories.
I hope to stay here again because Paul and Brenda are super hosts, and it’s sooooo relaxing there!
We enjoyed our stay with PaulBrenda. The location was peaceful amongst the Douglas firs. Sitting out until after night fall with our hosts we discussed our different cultures and travel experiences
Thanks for the fruit
John and Judy
We enjoyed our conversation and our overnight visit. We would like to come back and play cribbage. Your place is beautiful, shady and quiet.
Paul and Brenda are wonderful hosts with a lovely, tranquil site conveniently located to I 5, yet in a rural, tree shaded location. A perfect spot to spend a day or two relaxing with new friends!
We stayed one night. Level spot with easy access. Very hospitable hosts with a friendly dog, we enjoyed our stay in scenic quiet surroundings.
Great easy place to go. Lovely hosts. Spent two peaceful nights and enjoyed the area. Try out the Creswell Bakery if you have the time.
The stay was great and a perfect stopover as we traveled south from Portland. Lovely conversation on the porch with the hosts before having a nice quiet night catching up on work and a great nights sleep.
We have hosted hundreds of boondockers, but this was our first time being guests and boondocking at someone's property and we are just overwhelmed with gratitude. Paul and Brenda are lovely and we had the best time chatting with them! Their property is gorgeous and so quiet; we had a wonderful night's sleep for the first time in a long while. I hope we catch up with them down the road again someday! They are super close to the freeway and their spot is level and gorgeous!
Our stay at Our Home When not Away From Home was great. The location that we parked was flat and spacious with big trees. It was quiet. We hooked up to electricity and grilled out. The hosts could not have been nicer and we really enjoyed their company. We sat in their back yard and chatted in the evening. We would definitely go there again.
Stayed for a 2nd night. Super nice hosts. Nice quiet, roomy space 3 minutes from the I-5 exit.
Super pleasant hosts. Quiet, roomy, level spot convenient to I-5. Thank you!!
