There is no RV dump on our property however there is a state park 8 miles down the road Dogs can have an area where they can run if under supervision as we have cats and don't want them injured. We are about 7 miles from the city of Lewisburg, TN which has a Walmart, Kroger and restaurants etc. We are an hour south of Nashville.
Our rules are keep the area clean and free of trash.
Generators can be used.
Sky viewing at night is nice.
We have a small campfire ring that you can sit around the fire at night an roast marsh mellows.
Please arrive prior to dark.
We are a mile off a paved road. The mile long driveway is gravel and you will have to cross a bridge. The bridge is narrow and has a dip in it. If you have low clearance you might scrape a bit. Best thing is to contact us prior to your stay to see what conditions are going on at the time. If it rains and the ground is wet, we can't guarantee a turn around.
We have 30 amp electric and water. We have 20 acres for boon docking if you don't require electric and water. You can fill tanks with well water.
If you come during the second weekend of Oct you can go to the Goats, Music & More Festival. It is FREE they have great music on Friday and Saturday night and you never know who will show up to perform. Downtown Nashville is an hour away. Chattanooga and hour & half away and so is Huntsville Alabama.
Be sure to ask Brian if he plays any instruments.
The answer will surprise you.
And also ask about the Voodoo Lady.
This place will offer a country visit. They are wonderful people to talk with or listen to about gardening, food preparation, spiritual healing, music composition, woodworking and their experiences through life lessons. This was the perfect place for us as our previous 24hour period was very stressful. We were so relaxed in this quiet country setting/rural that we requested to stay an extra night. To say that we completely enjoyed our stay with this couple is an under statement. IT WAS PERFECT. Thank you and should you ever be in middle GA stop by our place. .
Our hosts were very accommodating and helpful. They were very thoughtful as well. While we were out, a rain storm came up and they put our chairs and barbecue under a shelter to keep them dry. We enjoyed our visit with our hosts!
Odd title, but fun to see these big cattle. Hosts were very kind and helpful, helping us into our spot for the night. A bit off the beaten path, but nice and peaceful.
We didn’t visit with our hosts as much as I had wanted because I fell ill and departed a little early but they were most hospitable (offered us morning coffee with them) and friendly. They quickly responded to texts and foresaw anything we might need in advance. I enjoyed and learned a lot by touring Their custom designed pull behind camper made from a trailer.
Their land was open and refreshing and had a creek and small bamboo forest that we thought was real cool. Their neighbors’ land was open with rolling hills and some trees which increased the feeling of nature surrounding us.
They were very accommodating and we enjoyed visiting them and hope to return when we can stay longer.
Hosts were very friendly and helpful. Always responded promptly to communications with detailed directions to the location. They actually met us at the main road and guided us back. Gave us water to fill up our water tanks.
Nice quiet location. Big field which our dogs enjoyed playing in.
Only about 1 hour drive to Nashville. Also, close to a town with various amenities.
Overall, it was a great stay.
We got along great. Good nights rest. And the host went way above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Good communication would recommend for anyone around this area. Thanks Jim
In spite of the scary bridge entering the property, we loved staying with these folks. Quiet and peaceful. We've made friends for life!
Such a nice couple that were so accommodating to us as we made a trip south to Florida. They were so helpful and friendly. Their property was perfect and quiet. They let our two little kids run all over. We would definitely stay there again!
