We are rural Wisconsin. Living on the back 40. Great sunsets. The neighbors cattle grazing. Exploring the pond. Take a walk through trails in 20 acres of woods. Bring you bikes or ATVs. All the town roads are ATV friendly. We are about 5 miles north of lake Eau Claire. The Yellow river flows through Cadott, it’s great for kayaking and canoeing.
We are new to this. No smoking near my house.
We live on a blacktop town road. We have a long gravel driveway. We live on the back 40!
We have a large yard and driveway.
Once a year Cadott hosts Country Fest. A large country music festival.
A bit off the beaten path? Yes...and in this case, that's a wonderful thing! Quiet, peaceful, surrounded by woods, but lots of well-kept open areas, too, including picnic table and a little pond with fountain. The hosts were gracious, and even invited us to join them and their visiting family to enjoy the sunset from their ample porches and firepit. Lots of interesting and fun signage and other "creations" to be seen. Thanks for everything, "JohMar"!
JohMar were great people, very welcoming and have a large beautiful property. We looked for frogs in the pond and they showed us around their awesome shop and home. They gave us good recommendations for other areas to visit in Wisconsin. If we are ever in the Wisconsin again we will come say hello.
It was awesome and such a pleasure to be in their company. Great trails, great company, great night fire and popcorn. JohnMar are both very welcoming ! Thanx and hope too see u again !
Mar and Jo went out of their way to entertain us. Had fun for 2 days, ATVing, just chilling around the fire and enjoying their outstanding hospitality. Thankyou
Spend some time at the hummingbird feeder and watching the other bird feeder, but have your camera ready. Look for Sasquatch. Get the story on Mirage Garage. Beautiful country views. Very accommodating hosts. Unfortunately we had little time to visit this time around due to an appointment in Eau Claire with our grandson, but what we had was great.
When we drove up and saw the Mirage Garage we figured this was going to be a pretty neat place. It was. It was fun looking around at the garden, their toys, and the property. It was a cloudy evening so we couldn’t see the sunset, but we had a great visit. It was quiet, comfortable and just a great place to stay! We plan on returning with our bikes to ride on the very quiet roads there. Highly recommended!
We had an excellent stay at Camp Cadott with JohMar. They are wonderful, generous hosts that we now refer to as friends. Their site is easy to find with ample space for any size rig. Parking is on a cement slab. We enjoyed touring the local area and visiting the many suggestions of places they recommended. We hope to return again in the future when we're in the area.
